CHAPTER 13
Here's my poem, more like one of my poem.
'Readers be fright!
In the night,
Where the moon was bright.
The lady and the knight,
They love as they might.
Love is worth to fight,
Upon darkness and light.
Hold on tight,
My love at first sight.
Dearest Author is right!'
The girl got inside the carriage and cursed the man. "How dare he?" -Bastard!
"How could he?" I asked to no one.
"Why is my heart beating so fast?" I said, clutching my heart in the process. -Is it because I got so angry that my blood pumped so hard that made my heartbeat thumped fast?
"It's because you are attracted to me." someone spoke behind my back. I have been cursing the man so badly that I didn't notice he was standing near the window, eavesdropping and eyeing me with a gentle smile. -How sneaky!
All I could do is glare at him. How long had he been standing there? "I think something bad happened to Lexus." Crossing my arms, defending myself from his accusation.
"Oh!" he exclaimed innocently. What a two-faced bastard!
The scent of blood envelops me. I covered my nose with my forefinger to avoid inhaling it. It's not like, I can't tolerate blood, it's just I don't want to ride the same carriage as him. He is annoying! My patience is getting thinner when I'm with him.
Noticing my gesture, he informed me. "I'm taking a bath. There's a waterfall nearby. It won't take long." Hearing this, I frown almost immediately.
"Oh, then if you are such in a hurry, then take a bath too." He suggested.
-This man, really? He said I'm in a hurry, and yes I am! Why invite me for a bath! In a waterfall, with you? Seriously?
The desire to end this journey takes over me, resulting in disagreeing to his suggestion. "No, we need to hurry." I said, not looking at him.
I don't care if his clothes are tainted or the fact that his face was smeared with blood. In other words, he bathed with blood. He slaughtered all monsters in less than 15 seconds, and there were 50 of them. Should I say, he was the monster, not those he slaughtered?
Huh… sighed. I just don't want to concern myself with the situation he was in, and I had my attention focused on something else right now.
"But if my father…" he tried to reason with me, but I cut it by saying, "He won't, before you were crowned as crown prince, you are already a great general, so it's not surprising to see you bath in blood." I commented. -I really want to end this journey in escorting you.
"But still…" -Again, we need to end this bullshit. I'm losing my patience. "I said, no!" I screamed. I don't know what had gotten into me, but I don't fear him, filling me treason in disrespecting him this way. I just don't give a shit. Furthermore, when I turn around, I get to see his darkened face and bloodshot eyes which I just intercept with my bored gaze, not a little bit bothered.
"Lily, I'm taking a bath, whether you like it or not." He said in a stressful tone full of authority, but still trying to hold his demon inside.
-He is really serious, huh? Well, whatever. I only blink at his words boringly as if I had no idea what the person in front of me was talking about.
"You don't like me riding with you while I'm in this state, and there's no other carriage for me to ride." He said, smiling, pissed. Not interested to answer him, I only hum to give him my permission.
"You're not paying attention to me, look at me. Lily." He commanded me strictly. I draw my face closer to his, then looks down on him as if saying 'I'm more superior' I tried to fool him in an act of kissing him. -This will shut your mouth.
My lips and his touched. I bit his lower lip and gently kissing him after doing it. I look at him in question. -Why is he not affected by our closeness?- We were kissing through the window, and I know my personally trained knights saw it. If he rejects me now, I'll lose my face.
I nibble his lips slowly, while keeping my eyes wide open. Our saliva missed together, and I pulled his head with my hands for a deeper kiss. I break away from the kiss, he didn't respond. -How annoying!
The thread of saliva connects us. He is still looking at me seriously without a single surprise. -Really?- This man didn't respond nor pushed me back. –You wanted me to lower myself? Heh! You must be dreaming, I'll be the one making you lower, your highness-So I kissed him again and then separates my lips from him.
I whispered into his ear, "You think you're so mighty? Fine, you can wash up, I'm waiting." Hearing this, Amaranth turned his back immediately. His angry at her. He knows that she was teasing him and mocking him on purpose.
-Gosh. I'm wet down there. I'm so horny. Urgh, I need to release myself.- I opened the door and walks to my personally trained knights. I scanned those knights' head to toe. I chose the one who had lesser blood splattered on him. I walk closer to the guy and ordered him, which he obediently obeyed. "Come with me to the carriage."
Meanwhile, Amaranth keep on thinking about the kiss. His face was so red. He knew Lily is arrogant and won't let someone trampled her pride. He showed her, he was not affected, and he almost gave in to her temptation, but he wanted her to kiss him many times not just once, so he did his best to remain stoic. In fact, his heart was beating loudly that he could hear them loud and clear. He hoped Lily didn't realize anything.
Yes, he was dead angry. He had his pride too, so he wouldn't give in to her seduction, at least not now. He had to hold his desires until she completely accepts him.
After he finished cleaning his body, he wore the clothes that Lily's personally trained knights gave him. And when he came back, he saw one of the knights got off the carriage, bringing a wicked smile to his ethereal face.
(Hi guys! Author here, my uncle who I considered brother had a vacation here at my birthplace and his leaving now. I was so sad because I was now accustomed to his presence. I really missed him! And I am crying now you know~~ he was like my biological brother cuz our age is almost on par, hahaha hope I got the wording right!")
