The lucky Reckless Soul

Jonas was your regular teenager of 16 years, well cliche to be exact. Parents were rather strict but loving in the end, intelligence was there but too lazy to put it to use. One day returning from school Jonas was walking by the road while on his phone reading a Harry Potter fanfiction, then suddenly his world went blank, immense pain started from his back then neck the legs then his heart then his brain. When he opened his eyes due to the sheer pain he was feeling he noticed that his world has gone red and he was lying on the road staring at a toppled truck. Then soon his thoughts returned to him.

"Heh, what a super cliche way to die, the infamous truck-kun has claimed the soul of another" while laying i thought. Then suddenly out of nowhere my body was plunged into the cold and my consciousness left my body.

After what seemed like a millennium i woke up only to see a dark expanse with uncountable number of white glowy orbs spreading infinitely. I reached out to the nearest orb and as soon as i went to touch it i reappeared in my previous position as if I was not allowed to move from my place. As time passed slowly my fellow spheres started fading and I was left all alone in an expanse of darkness. Suddenly with a flash of light everything around me turned white, as soon as I recovered I saw a massive orb of light that started giving me an oppressive feeling and suddenly when the orb transformed into an old man in a white suit, sitting on a coffee table sipping at his cup of whatever, the oppressive feeling dissipated.

"Young man why don't you make yourself comfortable and introduce yourself" said the old man putting down his cup on the saucer.

I slowly approached the table and sat down on the chair "excuse me but who are you mister and what is happening I thought I had died and was slowly going to be erased like the other orbs or more probably souls eventually". I asked as I took a sip out of the glorious peppermint tea on the table.

"Haha, you are taking this more casually than I had expected you to. Ok so the thing is every time a traveler dies there is a selection in the megaverse to select a new one. They are given an ability to travel across the omniverse to prevent other beings from breaking and travelling across the omniversal barriers like the one above all of the marvelverse."

There was excitement coursing through my veins to travel to fictional verses from books to anime and all the other worlds."ok I get it so how do I use my ability." I practically begged like a dog waiting for the treat in front of its mouth with its tail wagging and puppy eyes. Then I realised my expressions and soon changed them. While a blush crept on my face "Sorry but what should I call you, should I call you god or something."

The old noticing my expressions laughed out loud "it's ok,it's ok, you are just excited sure fine fine. Ok so about that I am no measly god and I do not have a name but you can call me the will of the megaverse or will for short."

It took some time to process it as I always thought that some random ROB or god did this reincarnation thing but who knew that the megaverse itself could do it too."ok do I get wishes too or like i am sent to raw dog it(fend) for myself after I get the ability."

"Ahh... yes I seem to have forgot, now the thing is you have two options one is to fully gain the ability or gain a restricted version of it along with some other cheats but with conditions"

I pondered upon the statement for a bit."ok so what is this restricted version you are talking about."

"Normal version is when you can travel between omniverses once every day or the restricted version is when you have to meet certain conditions to be able to unlock a named fictional verse or a random alien universe and also get 3 wishes for cheat abilities."will explained to me seriously.

"So can we do my wishes first."I asked much to the pleasure of will.

(An- I strictly do not have some obsession with dogs I like them as pets and nothing more I do not like acting like one so please bear this one chapter.)
