Chapter 7: The Great Battle - Demon, God, and the Destruction

David continued to ask questions and Yuna was answering things in very detail that helped David to gain new knowledge. Things were pretty harsh in this world but it also excited David like never before. He was out of his boring life of everyday living in the same scheduled environment. Here he could explore and find new things and enjoy life like he always wanted.

"Let's continue the story, I want to understand everything." David said, his expression mixed of excitement and eagerness to know more.

"As I said last time it's because of great battle of a demon and a god." Yuna said.

"I know, you mentioned a great battle, but what exactly happened?" David asked, his curiosity piqued.

Yuna activated the console, and new holographic projections filled the room. "It's a complex and tragic story. A demon and a god, each from different corners of the universe, no one knows how they started fighting. We could only see lights spreading as the stars exploded. It lasted for long time, almost a year and this kind of disaster happened to earth because of shockwave of the energy." Yuna explained.

"So the Earth got caught in the middle just like that, huh?" David asked.

"Their battles caused unimaginable destruction. Many star systems were obliterated," Yuna narrated, her tone somber.

"It's hard to believe something like this could happen," David said, shaking his head in disbelief.he was a man from 21st century, where the things like demon, god and other races were only fantasy. Now he has seen with his own eyes, he didn't know how to react.

The projections focused on Earth, showing it suffering catastrophic damage as the battle between the demon and the god fighting intensely. Energy waves ravaged the planet, causing earthquakes, tsunamis, and volcanic eruptions.

"Earth was one of the many casualties. The energy released during the clash devastated the planet," Yuna explained.

"And that's how everything changed," David said, realizing the full extent of the destruction. He thought if the one on one fight can cause this much devastation them want if the entire race of them fought, wouldn't the universe cease to exist.

"After that, there is no communication with others and I don't know if anyone survived in Earth. I couldn't go very far from the shelter for search and devices also didn't pick the sign of human life. You are the only one I came a cross so far." Yuna said with tinged of sadness.

"So, the demon and the god just disappeared?" David asked, puzzled by their fate.

"Yes. I don't know what happened to them, the only thing I found is the demon core. After the waves of energy caused chaos in Earth, I lost signal."

"There must be some clues out there," David said, determined to know more. He thought, To survive in this world, knowing more will help in some cases in the future. He would survive no matter what it takes.

After taking some time to digest the information, David and Yuna sat down to discuss their plans for future. They planned to more places and uncover the place where wormholes are.

"We need to find out more. Maybe there's a chance we can go to other planet," David said, his resolve strengthening.

"Agreed. We must be prepared for anything," Yuna replied.

They continued their discussion and training all day. David's eagerness to learn more had a positive impact on Yana. After spending time together, she understood what kind of a person David was and her trust in his was growing each passing day.

Their training continued till the late evening. They were tired, specially David,so they decided to stop for today. After some rest, they went to have dinner in the kitchen. When they finished eating, they went to their quarters to sleep. While in bed, David's thoughts wondered for while contemplating things he had learned so far.

While still in his thought his expression changed a bit, he felt he missed something important ask. With that he fell asleep and went to the wonderlandof dreams.
