Chapter Eighty-Five

" What went wrong between you and Sharon?" Samael asked Charlotte.

" How did you know I was here?"

Charlotte asked, sniffing with her nose.

She use the back of her palm to wipe her face and turn to face him.

" Sharon told me; and I also saw you by the lake side. What's wrong?"

He asked again.

" Sharon challenged me about our relationship."

" And what did you tell her?" He asked anxiously.

Fear was written all over his face; he never imagine in his wildest dream that Sharon was going to catch up that easily.

"I told her what she wanted to hear ".

"why would you do that ? This was not

the plan!"He yelled at her; messing up his hair.

"Charlotte why are you so dump,I told you to keep everything a secret;how could you be so stupid.

He asked her,anger clearly written on his face.

"Why must it be kept a secret don't you love me?"she asked,trying to touch his face but he pushed her hands away.

"Charlotte don't be stupid!Am here talking about the situation, and you are blabbing about love like an elementary school kid".

"is that what you care about?"

He asked her, irritated by her behavior, when did he ever say he loved her?

His only aim is to use her for sex like Barrett did to Mitchell,but later ended up crazy In love with her after her death.

He and Frederic were the only ones who knew about what went down between Barrett and Mitchell since they were his roommate and team mate;he was sure Mitchell never said a word to the other girls till her death.

Sharon finding out was the last thing he hope could happen,he loves her;If she know that he was sleeping with her best friend to satisfy pleasure;she won't love him after Aiden is dead.

"Charlotte is so dumb!I can't believe her witted brain"

"Yes! that's all I care about,I want to know if you love me or I was just a pleasure object to you?"Charlotte blared out,she really want to know what he felt for her;if Sharon words were true.

"You know the answer Charlotte,so don't bother asking me,my answer does not change anything."

He knows Charlotte well,she has the answers but she always want to pull it out of his mouth.

"I need to go clean up the mess you created."

He said and walked out of her, Charlotte stood there deliberating on his response.
