Marvel: Ned the Master of Mystic Arts

A smart teenager from our universe wakes up in the Marvel Universe as Ned Leeds, Spider-Man's best friend. But this isn’t the Ned you think you know. In his original world, he was a die-hard Marvel fan. He had seen every movie, binge-watched every series, and delved deep into the lore of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Armed with an intricate knowledge of the future, he begins to subtly manipulate events in this universe, steering them toward a perfect future—one where the tragedies and heartbreaks of the Marvel universe can be avoided. When fate introduces him to the Mystic Arts, the world quickly realizes that Ned is far more than just comic relief. Even the Ancient One has to admit, "I was wrong—Ned is the best among us." With the Cloak of Levitation practically begging to stay by his side and powerful sorcery flowing through him, Ned becomes a rising star in the Marvel universe. His adventures don’t stop there. With his newfound abilities, Ned discovers the secrets of the multiverse and begins traveling across dimensions. From solving problems in alternate realities to mending broken worlds, Ned takes on challenges that even seasoned heroes wouldn’t dare to face. As he hops between universes, he learns the complexities of destiny, morality, and the weight of wielding such power. By knowing how events play out in the movies and series he once adored, Ned finds himself in a unique position to rewrite the timeline. Whether it’s nudging heroes like Tony Stark, Doctor Strange, or Thor to make better decisions or preventing devastating events like the Snap before they happen, his interventions slowly reshape the course of history. But with great knowledge comes great responsibility, and Ned soon realizes that altering the timeline is more complicated—and dangerous—than he could have imagined. Things aren’t all smooth sailing, though. After his dramatic glow-up—both in terms of magic and physique—his relationships start to shift. Even Wong can’t help but notice the peculiar way people glance at him now. "Ned’s a great guy, really. But after the weight loss… I can’t explain it, but something’s different." With humor, heart, and a heap of magical mishaps, Marvel: Ned the Master of Mystic Arts reimagines Ned Leeds as a master of mystic arts, juggling friendships, rewriting timelines, traveling through dimensions, and reshaping the chaotic Marvel universe. Spider-Man's Debut

"ROAR!!!"

Just as everyone was worrying about him, Hulk let out a deafening roar and punched the Chitauri Leviathan squarely on its head. The giant alien beast suddenly reared up high.

Unlike Thor's earlier hammer strike, this time, the Chitauri Leviathan didn't fall back down. Instead, it was lifted completely upright, perpendicular to the ground, before flipping lifelessly over Hulk, collapsing toward the group. Hulk's single punch had completely drained it of life.

The Avengers were stunned but quickly scattered to avoid being crushed. As Tony Stark flew in to blast the Leviathan into pieces, Ned arrived first. With a wave of his hand, the massive body of the Chitauri Leviathan disappeared without a trace.

This was an application of the Mirror Dimension.

"Hmm?"

A massive green question mark seemed to pop up over Hulk's head. Looking up at Ned, who was floating in the air, Hulk roared, "ROAR!!"

'Where did that big mechanical monster go?' was likely what Hulk meant.

"Wizard, what's going on? Where did the alien creature go?" Captain America asked in surprise.

"Relax, relax. Just a little trick," Ned replied, barely holding back his urge to act smug, speaking as though it were no big deal.

"Alright."

Captain America nodded, then spoke seriously: "Listen up, everyone. Before we can close the portal, we need to hold them off."

"Barton, get to the rooftop and figure out their movement patterns."

"Stark, hold the perimeter. Anything that gets close to these three streets, push them back or turn them to ash."

"Thor, Wizard, you two need to block the portal and keep them from advancing. Thor, summon lightning and burn them to cinders. Wizard, keep using that giant fire ring of yours to deal with the big ones."

At this point, Captain America paused and turned to Ned. "Wizard, you've got the most tricks here. Do you have a way to close that portal?"

"No, the only way I know is with Loki's scepter. Other than that, I can't do much," Ned replied truthfully.

"Alright," Captain America nodded. "If anyone spots Loki, report his location to the Wizard immediately."

After giving his orders, Captain America turned to Black Widow and said, "You and I will keep the fight contained to the ground."

"Hulk!" Finally, Captain America looked at the Hulk. "Smash!"

"Hmph!"

Hulk grinned wickedly at Captain America's command, then leaped onto a rooftop and began wreaking havoc on the Chitauri forces.

"Oh! Captain America! Are you Captain America?!"

Just as everyone was about to get to work, an excited voice suddenly broke through the chaos. A young man in a red hoodie swung in on a strand of webbing and shouted at Captain America, "Captain America! This is incredible! Hey! I'm your fan, I'm—"

"Hey! Spider-Man!" Before the excited Peter could reveal his identity, Ned's stern voice cut him off.

At this time, HYDRA hadn't yet been exposed or crippled by Captain America. If they learned about Peter, a young superhuman, it could lead to even more trouble.

"Everyone uses their code names! I'm the Mystic Sorcerer."

"Uh… okay. I'm Spider-Man," Peter said, scratching his head awkwardly as he looked at his two idols, Captain America and Iron Man, feeling a little shy.

"So, what's with the obvious underaged kid in pajamas?" Tony Stark was the first to question Ned.

"I'm not a kid in pajamas! I'm—" Peter tried to defend himself but was interrupted again by Stark.

"Adults are talking, kid. Don't interrupt."

"Oh..." Peter lowered his head and stood quietly, feeling wronged.

'Ned's not even that much older than me,' Peter thought to himself.

"Uh..." Seeing Peter like this, Ned sighed and explained to the others, "You can think of him as a rookie super-soldier with no combat experience."

"Alright."

Although Captain America didn't like the idea of a kid on the battlefield, the alien invasion left no room for hesitation. Peter had unique powers, and they needed all the help they could get.

"Listen, kid. You'll fight alongside us and keep the battle on the ground. If you're in danger, call for help immediately."

"Yes, Captain!" Peter stood at attention excitedly, thrilled to receive a direct order from Captain America.

"Wait, wait." Ned interrupted. "Spider-Man, didn't I tell you to stay home and protect your aunt and grandmother? Why are you here?"

"Oh!" Peter quickly explained, "A lady in yellow took them away using the same magic as you. She told me to come and help you."

Hearing Peter's explanation, Ned guessed it must have been the Ancient One who intervened. He had no choice but to nod in acknowledgment.

With that settled, the Avengers split up and returned to their assigned tasks.

Ned soared toward the portal in the sky, hovering near it as he prepared to cast a portal spell. He focused on visualizing the snowy peaks of the Himalayas, where the Ancient One had once taken him, and began waving his arms.

'Since Loki can't be found right now, and fighting in the city causes too much collateral damage, it would be ideal to send these creatures to that desolate place and finish them off there,' Ned thought.

"Zzzzzt!"

Gradually, a glowing portal began to form, but just as Ned started to feel hopeful, it collapsed with a crackling sound.

Realizing something was wrong, Ned glanced at the Tesseract on Stark Tower's roof and understood the issue. Reluctantly, he abandoned the idea.

At that moment, Ned's mystical intuition sensed a temporal disturbance several streets away, causing him to frown in alarm.

'Could it be an extra-dimensional entity descending on Earth?'

Although he believed the Ancient One would handle any major threats, Ned felt uneasy. With his duplicates handling nearby battles, he decided to investigate. He opened a portal to the location and stepped through.

...

At the moment of the Avengers' Assembly

Several blocks away, a burst of quantum energy rippled through the air, and four figures in white uniforms appeared out of nowhere.

As the white suits dissolved, their identities were revealed to be none other than Iron Man, Captain America, and two others.

"We'll split up. Two stones are in the upper city, and one is in the lower city. Keep it low-key and stick to the schedule," Captain America instructed as they moved.

Suddenly, a deafening roar erupted behind them.

"ROAR!!!"
