Marvel: A Titan's Dream (Completed)

Kai was a psychopath, deemed clinically insane by the medical community. He had always been strange, the kind of strange that would make him dance in a dark room with headphones on while chugging down bottles of milk. Yes, he was a milk addict, and he took it to a whole new level. The voice in his head was his only friend, the only constant in his otherwise chaotic life. One day, Kai escaped from the mental asylum where he had been confined for years. He had no idea what he would do next or where he would go, but he was determined to escape his reality. He found an abandoned building and made it his home, but fate had other plans for him. Kai died in that building, but instead of his consciousness fading away, he transmigrated into the body of a young Thanos. When he realized where he was, he had an existential crisis. Thanos was a madman who pursued the concept of death, but Kai was scared of death. It was ironic that he had transmigrated into Thanos' body.

Before the Storm

Thanos turned to Chloe, who was sitting next to him, and spoke in a low, commanding voice. "Chloe, listen closely. The target is incredibly powerful, and you need to stay at a respectable distance and use your powers from afar. Understood?"

Chloe nodded, her eyes wide with excitement and determination. Thanos could sense her eagerness, but he also knew the importance of caution when dealing with such a dangerous opponent.

Turning to Frank, the executive of the assault team, Thanos asked, "How is the team adapting to the serum?"

Frank grinned, his eyes sparkling with excitement. "They did unimaginable things during the assimilation phase. I couldn't believe it at first, but now I'm convinced that they're ready for anything."

"But it's just unfortunate that the serum can't be injected into the other half of my team," Frank continued, looking disappointedly at the other half of his squad, the kind of look a father would give to a son who was twerking on some chinese social media while wearing girl clothes.

Dave, one of the members of the team, couldn't help but speak up. "Captain, don't look at me like that, I feel offended for some reason," he said with a smirk.

Frank turned to him, his face stern. "So you want to feel pain, instead? My fists hit harder now, maybe I should give you extra 'training.'"

The other members of the team shifted nervously, but Thanos intervened. "You know why they can't receive the serum," he explained to Frank. "Giving powers to someone who already has their DNA heavily altered could have unexpected... consequences."

Frank sighed, "Yeah I remember the first 'lucky volunteer' who turned into a mass of tumors and then slowly died an agonizing death," he said.

A red head woman embracing a sheathed katana was laying comfortably on her seat with her eyes closed, but when she heard the Captain's words, her eyebrows scrunched up, but then quickly returned to their precious position in a fraction of seconds. Some of the squad members however, shivered at the sentence.

Suddenly, the pilot's voice cut in, announcing that they had entered Mexico's territory and were nearing their destination.

Frank turned to his team and spoke in a strong, inspiring voice. "This is our very first challenge, and we have to catch the target alive! The Boss will oversee the operation and intervene if necessary!"

He looked at each of his squad members, a booming voice resonating.

"We have to show him that his investment in this squad was worth it! Are you with me!?"

The team responded with a resounding "yes, captain!" and Chloe added her own determined voice to the mix.

"That's the spirit," Thanos chuckled, pleased with the enthusiasm of his team.

The jet began its descent towards the ground, and the team could not help but be thrilled to face their first real fight, a worthy challenge that would mark the beginning of their legend in the MCU.
