Marvel: A New God's Reign

I am not really that good at writing a synopsis but here goes nothing, * * * Synopsis : An ordinary soul is reincarnated in the Marvel multiverse as a New God, the son of Odin and the Phoenix Force. He is considered a mutant among gods and the messiah of the entire mutant race. He even has a suspicious system that makes him stronger way quicker than the rate gods are supposed to grow at. But all that doesn't matter. What matters is for him to survive and grow as strong as possible to survive the storm coming for him and maybe find a few people whom he can call friends and family. * * * Note : Alternate Universe(s) * * * You can also read chapters in advance by visiting my Pa-treon page, pat reon.com/God_Doom * * * You can also join my discord channel through this link: https://discord.gg/WYVfYe2KNS * * * Author's note : I do not own Marvel or any of its characters other than my own OC.

"You are a product of all who came before you. The legacy of your family, the good and the bad, it is all a part of who you are."

<(Atem POV)>

A massive yet silent explosion shook the entire realm of Asgard as blue energy of immense proportions clashed against a colossal Tengu statue formed of purple-colored divine energy. The Susanoo was able to hold on for a few moments against a full-powered strike of the Odin Sword but the power emanating from the weapon wasn't just dealing massive amounts of physical damage to my defense. No, the sword was also affecting concepts like time, space, and reality in the realm of Asgard as well. In fact, the entire pocket dimension seemed like it was on the cusp of getting destabilized because of the single sword strike.

"You... You are just like me, like how I was during my youth. Or perhaps you are even stronger. I don't think I could have done this at your age." Odin praised in a calm voice as he looked at his missing left arm. Initially, he was confident to be able to take on my void attack head-on, but at the last moment, he decided to listen to his battle-hardened instincts and used his arm to defend himself. That was the sole reason he was still mostly unharmed. "However, it seems like this is the end for you." The All-Father declared with a solemn voice as he surveyed my body which had a huge bloody gash running through the chest. I was lifelessly floating in the emptiness of space with broken pieces of his Vibranium armor floating around me. "Once again, forgive me for all the pain I have caused to..."

"Hey, don't act like I am dead already. I am just mourning my armor. That thing was damn expensive and the only one of its kind. I had to strip it from Apocalypse's cold dead body to get it, you know." I interrupted him with an annoyed voice, my eyes still closed as I rubbed away a mock tear from my eyes. The huge cut on my chest visibly closed on its own in seconds until not even a single trace of a wound remained. "Judging from your face, I take it that Asgardians don't have that fast of a healing rate, do they?" I sneered full of contempt. "Maybe I forgot to tell you but unlike what you were expecting, I am not exactly an Asgardian. I am so much more. I am the first of a new generation of gods, a New God to be precise. I am to Asgardians what humans are to monkeys." I replied before deciding to finally use the trump card I was saving for the battle, "Divine Domain" I muttered.

Honestly, the move is the ultimate ability I use when I have nothing else to fall back on but considering the fact that it will give me enough boost in strength and powers to maybe even match the All-Father's Odin Force, I have no choice but to use it this early in the battle.

Instantly a bubble-like transparent sphere expanded out from my body, enveloping a huge amount of space around me, including even Odin himself which the Nordic Sky Father was quickly able to realize because the very next moment a deep frown covered his wrinkled old face as he used his Odin Force to counter my Domain, trying to prevent it from expanding it anymore. His power was like a vice grip trying to grab my domain and tear it into pieces. The Sky Father had somehow realized what my Domain was capable of and didn't want to be caught off-guard at my mercy inside it. So, he was simply trying to eliminate my domain.

"It's of no use, stop struggling. You might be stronger than me as a god, but my biggest weapon was never my strength. My biggest advantage has always been my right to command the Odin Force. Through the Odin Force, I have the life force of every Asgardian as well as the almost infinite cosmic energy inside the realm of Asgard at my fingertips. Fighting me is akin to fighting every living Asgardian alive with the exception of my children who possess my bloodline. You simply cannot defeat me because even if you are stronger than me on an individual level, you aren't stronger than the entirety of Asgard." Odin declared as the clash between my domain and his Odin Force intensified with the Odin Force clearly dominating the battle.

"Avada Kedavra" I cast the killing curse on him without even bothering to listen to his monologue since I was getting bored with the stupid monologues of Marvel characters.

As the flash of blinding green light hit Odin in the face, a scowl appeared on his countenance. "A soul attack..., such vile yet powerful magic! This just confirmed my doubts that the current Sorcerer Supreme of Earth is not aware of you, otherwise, she would have at least tried to stop you. Those sorcerers ignore a lot of things, but they can never ignore such dark soul magic." He deduced without much change in his facial expression after casually taking the killing curse to his face.

Then with a twist of his hand, Odin slowly overpowered my Domain without much difficulty, crushing it like a brittle snow globe before directing his Odin Force towards me to force me back and hold me in one place. Soon, his personal weapon, aka, Gungnir flew toward him with a flash of blinding speed and transformed into a golden prosthetic hand similar to Bucky's before attaching itself to Odin's shoulder, thus replacing his missing arm with a viable Uru substitute.

"I seriously need a good weapon," I muttered with a disgruntled voice after seeing Odin "upgrade" himself as I conjured a ball of pure nothingness and threw it at him which he effortlessly dodged by teleporting himself a mile away from the attack.

'It seems Odin has grown cautious about my void attacks after the loss of his hand.'

I could not afford to hold back in a battle with someone like Odin. I would have gladly used my physical strength against him, but I knew that he could infinitely increase his strength using the Odin Force. He could increase his physical abilities to such a level that he could throw stars without much effort in which case my limited physical strength despite being enormous would be enough to contend with him, so I decided to stick to using my abilities. I chose to use my strongest Ryujin Jakka flames along with my nothingness divinity in an attempt to burn Odin to nothingness, but the All-Father once again used his Odin Force to create a moon-sized star on his palms before throwing it at me.

Of course, I was able to dodge it with my Apparition magic, but the resulting supernova wiped out a vast majority of the asteroids around us with Asgard only surviving because of its immense distance away from us as well as because of the shields protecting the floating city.

The resulting explosion blew both of us away from each other as the flames licked away at our bodies, trying their best to reduce us to ashes and nothingness.

"You think you can defeat me, boy? This is nothing! I am Odin, the Sky Father of the Asgardians, the All-Father of the nine realms. I always win at the end!" Odin yelled, slightly panting as his eye patch burned away due to the heat, revealing his impaired eye. Parts of his white hair and beard too had been scorched by the fire just like his clothes. In fact, his golden Uru armor was the only thing that prevented his battered bare body from being revealed to the world. He had blisters on his skin while dried golden blood stained his face.

I was of course in a similar state as the All-Father but unlike Odin, I was quickly healing.

"Father stop!" Quite surprisingly, Thor once again appeared out of nowhere in between me and his father, trying to stop our battle. It seems he has somehow managed to take back control of his hammer again. He even looked like he was determined to use force on his father. "Stop or I will have to stop you." He announced.

I could even sense Freya nearby as well, preparing some kind of powerful magic spell.

"How unfortunate! Wherever I look, I only see disappointment and betrayal." Odin sighed as he once again dismissively waved his hand at Thor resulting in the God of Thunder being flung away like a piece of trash. "I am sorry my Queen, but I cannot have distractions right now." He continued before absorbing most of Freya's vitality through his Odin Force to temporarily subdue her.

The All-Father of Asgard then quickly created multiple stars and threw them at me while forcing them to go supernova.

"Fuck." I could not help but curse as I used wave after wave of nothingness to erase the stars from existence while using a combination of my divine energy and Susanoo to protect myself from the heat of the stars since even though I could heal from the worst of burns, it was still painful, and I was definitely not a masochist to desire pain. Honestly, I was prepared for a long bloody battle, but the scale at which I was fighting against Odin was quickly getting out of hand.

I thought I had become a lot more powerful than before. But I now realize that I still have a long way to go because compared to a powerhouse like Odin who was basically Marvel's strongest Sky Father, I was still weak.

Odin, on the other hand, looked equally troubled with my continued survival at his attacks. But soon, the worry left his hardened face as he seemed to make a decision. His damaged eye glowed with the shape of an unknown rune and golden energy slowly enveloped his injured body. "Fine, if I cannot kill you, I can at least banish you." He declared in a booming voice as hundreds of tree roots slowly raised their heads from the base of the floating city of Asgard before heading toward me at the speed of light. The tips of the roots also began to glow in a pale bluish light as they united to form a unified pillar of blue light rushing towards me like a lance. "I will make sure you never again return to this realm." The All-Father announced.

'... What is he doing? Wait, is he... trying to seal me away?' I finally realized this as I immediately sensed the concept of space present inside the energy lance heading towards me.

Honestly, I wasn't that worried. I knew that no matter where I ended up, I would always be able to leave with the help of the mother box. It could traverse through all dimensions and universes as long as it got the coordinates for a destination. So, permanently trapping me is almost impossible for Odin but the reason I felt bitter was because I wasn't able to hurt him as much as I wanted to. Sure, I made him bleed, and sure I took one of his arms but none of that satisfied me. He didn't even seem to be very much bothered by his injuries, which meant that they weren't as serious as they seemed. No, what I wanted was to truly get back at him for the pain he had caused me. Even if I could not defeat or kill him, I at least wanted to give an ultimate 'fuck you' to him to remember me by until we met again in the future... 'Wait, what if I use that? I have never actually tried using it before, so maybe...'

As the energy root/lance drew closer and closer to me, I dropped all my defenses and stopped my useless attempts to protect myself. Instead, I focused on executing my final move, "Silence of the Abyss" I mumbled to myself. Instantly, I felt something... It was moving in the dark of the infinite space around me like something was pushing apart the shadows to escape.

"ฬнƗ𝐬ℙ𝕖𝓡 𝐒𝕌𝔰ᵘr尺𝕌𝐒 𝐡Ⓘ𝐬s 𝕤U𝕤Uŕ𝕣Ữ𝐒 H𝓘Şs Ş𝐮ร𝐮𝓡гᵘŞ 𝓦𝒽𝐈sp𝔢尺" Incomprehensible maddening murmurs began to hiss in hushed tones all around me as the calm of the space slowly but surely turned into an overbearing sea of whispers. And the last thing I saw before losing consciousness after being hit by the root lance was the fabric of reality around a bewildered and almost terrified Odin slowly tearing apart revealing an even darker shade of black space inside, with hundreds if not thousands of tentacles and mandibles slowly exiting the tear, making their way towards the petrified All-Father like some sick horror movie with a bad ending.
