Chapter 6: Gathering Allies and Uncovering Clues

Prince Kyrian and Princess Maria knew they couldn't take on the fake prince alone. They needed to gather a trusted group of allies to help them in their mission. They decided to start by confiding in Princess Maria's stepfather, Duke Setsomer,

who had always been a loyal and wise advisor to the king.

Duke Setsomer listened intently as Real Prince Kyrian recounted his story, his expression growing increasingly concerned. "I had suspected something was amiss," he said, "but I never imagined it was this serious. We must act quickly and carefully to expose the imposter."

He offered to help them gather a small group of trusted soldiers and advisors who would be loyal only to Prince Kyrian and Princess Maria.

Together, they would begin to gather evidence of the fake prince's deceit and wait for the perfect moment to strike.

Their first lead took them to a mysterious old man who lived on the outskirts of the kingdom. He was rumored to possess knowledge of dark magic and might be able to help them understand the fake prince's powers.

As they approached the old man's hut, they noticed strange symbols etched into the door and windows. Princess Maria felt a shiver run down her spine, but Prince Kyrian reassured her, "We must be brave if we want to save our kingdom."

The old man greeted them with a knowing gaze, "I have been expecting you. You seek answers about the fake prince, don't you?"

Prince Kyrian nodded, and the old man began to reveal the secrets of dark magic and how it could be used to manipulate appearances and control minds. He gave them a small vial of potion that would protect them from the fake prince's powers and told them to be cautious, as the imposter would stop at nothing to maintain his deceit.

With newfound knowledge and determination, Prince Kyrian, Princess Maria, and their small group of allies (Peter and Patrick princess Maria's personal guards, Elara princess Maria's maid, and Raven Prince Kyrian's friend) set out to gather more evidence to take to the King and Queen Little did they know, the fake prince was watching their every move, waiting for the perfect moment to strike back.
