(At the Fire kingdom)
"Your majesty, our time is almost over," said Julia.
"Don't worry, we won't be leaving this world till everything is back to the way it was," a voice responded.
Julia sat on her bed. "I'll have to go back to where I belong soon. I'll really miss this place."
"That's how it works, Julia. Once my spirit is gone, you'll be gone too."
"Then seems like our work here is done."
"Not until Licia's dead."
"Your highness, wasn't she King Cameron's..."
"That's right. She used to be Cameron's lover. Albert must've tricked her into helping him."
Julia asked, "What if she kills King Cameron?"
The voice answered, "Do you think that a woman like her could kill the man she's been looking for all these years?"
"Your majesty, she's obsessed with your son."
"I assure you that her obsession won't lead to a disaster."
"Let's just hope that she doesn't let her emotions take control of her then."
Meanwhile...
(In the royal hall)
Kaycee asked Timothy why he told Adam everything about their past. Timothy then told her that he deserves to know the truth since he was now her fiancé.
Kaycee smiled, "How's your wife?"
Timothy looked at her in astonishment. "What...?"
"Is your family doing well? I heard your son is turning five this year."
"We're doing fine. Why do you ask, your highness?"
"I just wanted you to keep in mind that no matter what happens, never ever tell your son that he was a mistake because he isn't."
"My wife was the reason why our relationship ended."
"Give your son—"
"Your highness, stop talking about my son!"
As soon as Kaycee heard that, her eyes widened. She just wanted to talk about his son, but why is he stopping her? Did he still have feelings for her?
Timothy sighed, "Do you not feel any pain when we talk about them? It's just reminding you of our past."
"What are you talking about? I'm happy for you and your family."
"Just to let you know, I never stopped loving you."
Kaycee smiled. "You're a father now. You shouldn't go telling other women how you feel about them."
Timothy shouted, "That's the truth!"
"Why are you telling me this? You know that Adam and I are getting married soon."
Timothy looked down. "No particular reason."
The princess brought out a small keychain and handed it to him. "Give this to your son on his birthday. Tell him it's my gift."
"Why do you care so much about my son?"
"It just reminds me of my childhood. Make sure to raise him well, and don't compare him to others. It'll let him lose confidence in himself."
Timothy bowed. "Thank you for the advice, your highness."
A few hours later...
(In the dining hall)
"What did you do? You seem down lately," Kaycee asked.
"I just haven't gotten enough sleep these days," Adam replied.
"Tell me the truth. I know you're lying."
Adam started chopping the meat. "I'm starving. Let's just eat."
The princess looked at him. "You saw me talking to Timothy, if I'm correct?"
"I did, but what does that have to do with me?"
"You aren't angry or jealous?"
Adam leaned back on the chair. "I've already told you that there's nothing bothering me. Can we eat now?"
Kaycee responded, "We talked about his son."
Adam looked at the ceiling. "That's it? Okay."
The princess stood up and pecked his lips. "I've already told you everything. What are you thinking about?"
"Nothing much."
"Why aren't you talking? Are you angry at me?"
Adam laughed. "Of course I'm not. What's there to be angry about?"
"Then why aren't you looking at me?"
"I'm just exhausted."
Kaycee sat down and started slicing the meat. "We can eat now."
Adam put his hand on top of hers. "I was just curious what Timothy was telling you."
"Haven't I told you already?"
"I know."
Kaycee glared. "You're acting strange."
Adam laughed. "You've figured me out now. Just finish your food."
