A few weeks later...
(At the Earth kingdom)
Mark sat beside Charlotte and asked her when she thinks King Antonio and the others will be back. Charlotte then sighed and assumed that they'd be back within the year.
Mark looked at the window beside him. "They haven't found King Cameron yet. Seems like his body has already been taken by someone else."
Charlotte stood up. "Why do you say so?"
"It's been a month since the investigation started, but there was no sign of him. You told me that Albert and the king fell at the same time, so we assumed that his body was somewhere near where Albert fell."
Charlotte then told him that she had a dream that King Cameron was trapped in a cage and was calling for help.
"It probably means that he needs help, but how could that happen if—"
"Then this probably means he's alive. Mark, you do know that I don't dream of people who are dead."
Mark said, "Well, we haven't been receiving cryptic messages lately. What if it was just a coincidence?"
Charlotte answered, "I'm sure it isn't. I really saw King Cameron in my dream."
"I think you've been too worked up lately to the point where you're making things up."
Charlotte stood up. "I really am not!"
Mark pulled her into a hug. "Just take a rest. We'll talk about it next time."
Meanwhile...
(In Gabriel's room)
Gabriel asked Ruby what she thinks Abigail would like for her birthday. Ruby then smiled and told him that it depends on the person because each person has different preferences.
Gabriel looked at the ceiling. "Does she like jewelry? Toys? Clothes?"
"I really do not know! Stop asking me and do your homework!"
"Then what do you like?"
Ruby stopped cleaning to look at him. "What?"
"I'll just give her something according to what your preferences. You guys have the same taste."
"A lot of girls love jewelry, so just give her that."
"Should it be a bracelet? Necklace? How about—"
"Gabriel, I'm working. I've already given you ideas," Ruby interrupted.
"Are you angry?"
"I'm not. Just do your homework."
Gabriel apologized, "I'm sorry."
Ruby sighed, "Gabriel, if you want to talk or play with someone, you can go do that with Charlotte or Mark. I'm not in the—"
Before she was able to finish her sentence, Ruby suddenly collapsed and fell to the ground. On the other hand, Gabriel started panicking and called for help.
A few hours later...
(In Ruby's bedroom)
"What happened to her?" Mark asked.
"Has she been working all day? She needs some rest too," the royal doctor responded.
"Doctor, when will she wake up?" Gabriel said.
The royal doctor kneeled down. "Don't worry, she'll be up soon."
"You may leave now," Mark sighed.
Gabriel sighed, "How about your—"
"Look, Ruby's awake!"
As soon as Gabriel heard that, he instantly rushed towards the bed and asked if Ruby was okay. Ruby then smiled and told him that she was feeling a lot better.
Mark responded, I'll leave you two now. I have some unfinished business."
As Mark left the room, tears started falling from the little boy's eyes. Ruby then asked him what was wrong.
"I'm really sorry, I didn't know that you were tired," Gabriel sobbed.
Ruby wiped his tears. "I'm fine."
"Charlotte has told me that my mother forced you to stay."
Ruby patted his head. "It's fine, I enjoy taking care of you."
"Didn't you say that I was annoying?"
"I'm sorry, I didn't meant that."
Gabriel hugged her. "I'm really sorry for not listening to you."
Ruby laughed. "Don't worry. I'm already used to it."
"Are you hungry? Do you need water?"
"Water will do."
Gabriel handed her a glass of water. "Drink it all up. The doctor said that it'd help a lot."
"Why are you being so obedient nowadays?"
"Well, I guess I've been acting quite indolent."
"It's great to hear that you learn something new everyday."
Gabriel smirked. "I'm doing this because I don't want Abigail to look down on me."
