Heading Back

(At the Water kingdom)

Mateo asked Antonio and Valentina why they decided to go back to the Earth kingdom since they said that they'd stay till Licia gets caught. Valentina then explained that they couldn't just leave Gabriel alone.

Antonio patted hi shoulder. "Mateo, Licia is the only one left alive. There's nothing to worry about."

Mateo scratched his head. "Are you just going to leave everything to us? We can't handle this on our own!"

"I really hope you could understand, Mateo. We really need to go back."

"What will happen to your sister and Josh then?"

"They'll come with us, of course."

"If you go back, then what about the investigation? Isn't Josh helping the royal soldiers?"

"Mateo, no matter what happens, they will all leave with me. It's inappropriate for us to stay here. I have a kingdom to rule."

Mateo punched the wall. "Then leave!"

"Why are you angry?"

"Is there any problem? Why do you care?"

Valentina then explained that no matter how much they wanted to help, they couldn't. They've tried their best to stay at the Water kingdom as long as they can, but now was the time for them to go back to where they belong since Gabriel might be in danger.

Antonio went closer. "If you need help, you know what to do."

Mateo rolled his eyes. "Whatever."

"Remember that I'm not leaving because I want to, Mateo," Antonio reminded. "It's because I need to."

Meanwhile...

(At the royal garden)

"You must be Olivia right?" Lucy asked.

"Yes, your highness. What can I do for you?" Olivia responded.

"I need a favor. It's about Eleanor."

"Anything, your highness."

Lucy started walking in circles. "I'll be heading back to the Earth kingdom soon, so Eleanor and I won't have much time for each other anymore. I'd like you to check on her from time to time."

Olivia then asked her why she chose her to look after Eleanor since Mia was the one that always takes care of her.

"Doesn't Eleanor consider you as a friend? Are you refusing my favor?"

"Its not that I don't want to help, but I'm just a maid. I am in no position to talk to her."

Lucy folded her arms. "Who told you that?"

Olivia lifted her head. "Isn't that what all people say?"

"It's different here, Olivia. Royalty or not, you're still a human with feelings. Don't look down on yourself."

"Are you sure about this, your highness? You can't go back with word."

Lucy smiled. "Of course I am."

A few hours later...

(In the royal hall)

"You're really pregnant?" Valentina shouted.

"Shhh! Not everyone knows," Mia responded.

"Ever since when? Why didn't you tell me earlier?"

Mia then explained that she's been pregnant for five months and she just couldn't find the right to tell her since there were so many unexpected things happening.

Valentina patted her shoulder. "At least Gabriel has someone to play with now."

Mia looked down. "I heard that you're leaving soon."

"We can't just leave Gabriel alone. After all, he's still a child."

"I understand, but Mateo seems to be upset about it because Antonio promised to stay till Licia gets caught."

Valentina sighed, "Seems like we can't keep our promise. I'll apologize in his behalf."

"Don't be sorry. I understand everything."

"I'm just afraid that Gabriel might be in danger."

Mia's eyes widened. "That's terrible. You should really tighten the security there."

"We will. That's why we're heading back soon. We don't know what could happen next."

"Keep him safe, Valentina. He's your only son."

Valentina smiled. "Of course I will. I do anything just to protect my son."
