Lee Yo Han Is His Step-Brother

Yu Qi heard him and by the time she could say anything, he started crying loudly. She tapped on his back and comforted him. She didn't even meet her mother-in-law, and unknowingly a tear also escaped her eye. She comforted Min Jae saying sweet nothings.

Min Jae hugged her even tightly engulfing himself deeply inside her. He cried even louder when he heard her sorry.

In the evening, Min Jae took Yu Qi to the burial. From the car, she saw few people standing beside the corpse which was kept inside a long box. All had upset faces. After all, Min Jae's mother was the dearest to all.

She saw an old man, a man in his late-fifties, a beautiful woman in her early-forties and a young man, probably of her age. She was shocked to see her class president, Lee Yo Han present over there. 'Are they relatives??' She asked to herself.

Min Jae looked at where she was looking. "That is my step-brother, Lee Yo Han."

Now that, when she heard it, she connected the surnames together. They had the same surname Lee. How could she be so naïve to not even recognize that they were siblings by their surnames?? Well there are thousands of people having the surname as Lee, she couldn't just think it that way.

Min Jae got out of the car, and opened the door for Yu Qi. His grandfather, Lee Joo Hyun walked over to him and hugged him. Yu Qi got out of the car and bowed his grandfather. Taking them to where everyone stood, he introduced Yu Qi to everyone.

"This is Song Yu Qi, now she is Lee Yu Qi - Lee Min Jae's wife. A member of the Lee Family from now onwards." Yu Qi bowed at everyone present there.

They all casually talked a little and proceeded with the funeral. Once everything was done, Yu Qi sat with Min Jae in the hall. He looked at her when he felt her warm small hand. Yu Qi intertwined her hand with his and smiled at him. "Everything will be fine!!"

Yu Qi looked at the photo of Min Jae's mother kept in the hall. His mother was really pretty. Min Jae got those handsome looks from his mother for sure.

Yo Han was also present in the hall. At first when he saw Yu Qi come out of the car, he was stunned. And secondly, when his grandfather introduced Yu Qi as a member of the Lee Family from now onwards, he became completely in a daze.

He didn't have any feelings towards Yu Qi. But to call someone the same age as him 'sister-in-law', he felt awkward. At night, Min Jae and Yu Qi both stayed in the Lee Mansion. Min Jae took Yu Qi to his room and they both sat on the bed.

Min Jae was still in shock after knowing that his mother was no more.

A day passed and Min Jae and Yu Qi barely talked with one another. She understood that he needed some time to get back to normal, so she let him be. The next day also came and she saw Min Jae as still as ever. He had barely eaten anything. Everytime, he was just drinking water and not eating anything.

Today, Yu Qi decided to cook something light for him. After making a porridge, she took the bowl to his room. Min Jae was seated on the bed with his back rested on the headboard of the bed.

Placing the bowl on the table beside the bed, she sat in front of him.

"You haven't eaten for a 2 days. Eat something." Yu Qi said with concern in her voice.

"I don't feel like eating." Min Jae said gloomily. He was still in a state of shock. His mother meant a lot to him. Back then when his father married Lee Yo Han's mother, Min Jae saw his mother cry all day and all night. She had developed a liking towards alcohol to cure her hatred.

Even after crying all day, his mother accepted Lee Yo Han's mother. Things were going good. There were no fights in between them and they stayed as a family. But only Min Jae knew how much his mother cried at night everyday. No matter what, he always stood by her side and looked after her.

Now when he lost her, he felt his world break apart. Yu Qi noticed that Min Jae was still in a daze, she shook him by his hand and said "The porridge will get cold. Eat it, please!!"

She requested him. Min Jae was getting weak as the days were passing. Yu Qi couldn't see him this weak.

"Have it please??" She pleaded him.

Taking the bowl in her hand, she said "Fine!! I'll feed you." She took a spoonful of porridge and bought it near his mouth "Here, open your mouth!!"

Min Jae looked at her. He opened his mouth and took the spoon of porridge. Yu Qi breathed a sigh of relief "Finally. You took one spoon at least." Seeing that he was ready to eat, she took another spoonful when Min Jae moved closer and kissed her.

He pushed the porridge in Yu Qi's mouth. Half of the porridge escaped through the corners of their mouths. Yu Qi stood still holding the bowl and spoon in her hand. She swallowed the porridge inside and felt the kiss deepen.

Min Jae left her lips when they were both out of breaths.

"Why did you ki..." As Yu Qi was about to speak, she saw that the bowl and spoon was snatched from her hand and kept on the table. "I need you!!" Min Jae spoke in a husky voice and pulled her for a kiss again.

While kissing, he pushed her down on the bed and they started to kiss deeply. This time, Yu Qi didn't stop him. She wanted it to happen now. She needed him too.
