Did I transmigrated into a novel?!” Join the world where love knows no Boundary. ————————————————————————————————————-———————— Behind us a big commotion arose and we were tossed to the sidelines like the forgotten rag dolls. Cameras flashing. Reporters hovering the place to get the perfect shot, each scraping for even the tiniest glance at the powerful figures that emerged out of their cars. I was left in awe of the dazzling socialite ladies as they strutted across the carpet, ignoring everyone they deemed beneath them. Their million dollar dresses and jewelleries leaving everyone with envy. Accompanying them were the well - known businessmen whose money never seemed to run out. Following behind them came the well - known actors and actresses. They waved and smiled while the onlookers screams of joy and appreciation for them filled the environment. I nudged Rebecca and whispered “Can I go back now?” “No way! It’s a masquerade ball. We can be anyone we want.” She replied while smiling ear to ear. “Ok” I thought as my confidence level piped up a bit. No one was gonna know that a complete outsider had entered their territory. . . . "Stop! I don’t want to dance." "We’re in a masquerade ball! That’s what people do. Dance." "But...I can’t." He gave a little chuckle enjoying our little fight before he intervened, "It’s ok. I can teach you. Just follow my steps." "Common Hayls. Go on." "Alright, I’ll go," I said, giving her a look. "Have fun!" She gave a soft cheer before focusing all her attention back into her plate. He held my left hand and gently led me towards the dance floor. The music soon changed to something more romantic. The magic of love by Russel Watson and Lionel Richie started playing in the background. Soon all the couples started dancing together. "Are you ready?" The man whispered in my ear making me blush. "Ready as I’ll ever be," I replied hesitantly. "Don’t worry. I’m here, just follow my lead." He gently held onto my waist with his right hand and grabbed onto my right hand with his left. I lightly placed my left hand onto his right shoulder and we started our slow dance. "Right, left, Glide, glide…" Along with our dance, he kept whispering the steps to me and soon we were in sync with each other. We spun, laughed, and before the end of our dance, the music went into slow beat again. We softly danced to the rhythm as I basked in his rich and beautiful fragrance. It was all truly a magical moment. . . . Hello everyone I’m Bandana & this is my very first Novel. I hope you’ll all enjoy 1 chapter up daily Instagram - @author_br Discord - b_r2 #2557

"Thank you for lunch." I bow to Prince Elijah and Mr Robert and start getting ready to leave. I excuse myself from the three boys and leave out the door. While walking down the hallway I bump into a girl my age, she had gorgeous long black hair which was perfectly curled at the bottom. She had on a casual attire; a casual summer dress which flawlessly brought out her features.

"Sorry, excuse me." I say and walk past her, however, she stops me mid track.

"Can you please help me? I seem to be a bit lost." She says, her voice sounding so rich, so posh and yet sweet at the same time.

"Yeah sure, Are you looking for someone?" I turn around to face her.

"I'm here for Master James" She tucks her loose hair behind her ears. "Have you seen him anywhere? He is a young nine year old boy."

"I know where he is, I can take you there. Follow me." I say and lead her towards Prince Elijah's office.

"Thank you so much. I'm so glad I met you. We were meant to meet in the waiting area about 30 minutes ago but there's no sign of him yet so I decided to look for him myself." She tells me on our way. She seemed like a really lovely person, she must be the nanny he talked about earlier but she is much prettier than he said. He was surely a big flatterer at such a young age, I can already imagine him being Prince Kole version 2.0. I quietly laugh in amusement inside of me.

We shortly arrive outside and like before Mr Robert answers the door.

"Miss Hayley?"

"Calla? What are you doing here?" He says, seemingly surprised at seeing her behind me.

"I'm off then." I turn towards her, avoiding the uncomfortable atmosphere around me. "James is inside." I give her a quick smile and start walking back down to my office.

"Since you're already here, Miss Hayley, I'll give you the documents to take back."

I stop on my track and am again obliged to follow him inside.

"You can come in too." He gestures to Calla and the two of us follow him inside.

Once inside Mr Robert informs me he's going to go print out some more documents for me and leaves the two of us standing in front of Prince Elijah. He was sitting down on his chair working through his computer, looking more handsome than ever. I could feel the room suddenly go quiet beside me as Calla gave an elegant curtsy to him, looking like a real princess herself. "Good Afternoon Prince E..."

"Ah! You're here too early! It's not even 1:30pm yet!." James runs and hides behind Prince Elijah's chair after seeing Calla beside me.

She seems to be a bit annoyed at him for interrupting but manages to quickly come back into her character.

"Now, Now Master James, you know the rules. "Your Mother expects you home now." She tells him with her stern voice but to no avail.

"No! I'm not going!"

Calla seems lost for words and looks towards Prince Elijah for help but even after all these commotion his eyes haven't left his computer screen, acting like he has no part in all this. Seeing her discomfort I step in to help.

"If you go now, I'll ask your big brother to let you visit more often." I tell him and hearing this he happily comes out from his safe haven and walks towards us like an excited little kitten who just got rescued.

"You Promise Sis in law?"

"Ah...yeah."

From the corner I saw almost a hint of a smile on Prince Elijah's face and just as suddenly our eyes met but I quickly looked away. He must've enjoyed seeing this poor girl struggle with James. Poor Calla I thought to myself, knowing I had no business in worrying about her.

"Sis in law?" Calla questions

"She is my big bro Elijah's girlfriend." He replies, not at all worried about the consequences and since he is just a kid he doesn't realize just how big of a mistake it is to accuse the crown prince like this. Even Prince Elijah doesn't correct him so I guess he must be very special to him.

"No no, I'm just his personal assistant." I quickly deny it, not wanting her to get the wrong idea. Mainly because I didn't want anyone to think I got this job due to an inappropriate relationship or through some connection. This wouldn't be good for either me or Prince Elijah and as his personal assistant it is my responsibility to keep his image clean.

"Oh.." She says, almost in relief but I could just be overthinking at this point.

"Documents are ready." Mr Robert hands me two large folders. "These folders contain all the information about our shareholders, business deals and our future plans." I accept the folders and nod. "And Miss Hayley, you can take your time to read them carefully. There's no rush at the moment." He gives me his sweet brotherly smile and I instantly feel calm inside.

"I'll take my leave now." I tell them all and head straight back to my office carrying two large folders in my arm.

Once I reach my office I put the two files down and start jotting down my idea for the restaurant conflict. Once I was satisfied enough I headed straight to Adricia's office, she had been eagerly waiting for my arrival and gave me a more welcoming side of her. We sat down at her table and started our little discussion.

"I've read through your notes regarding the earlier proposals and I must say I am impressed." She tells me with a much more prouder smile. "You have managed to highlight all the errors within both the incident report and the conflict."

"Thank you, I hope to learn from you further."

"You're already at an advanced level, I'm glad Prince Elijah chose you. I know I shouldn't judge his decision but you're truly so young, I think I judged you too soon." She says

"Now, let's hear your plan to tackle our problem."
