okay before I start today's chapter I would love to inform my loyal readers about my decision to add volume 2 to the book which means

Volume 1: Gao Yi &Lin Rouxue

Volume 2 :Ma Xuiying & Han Qianfan

About Han Qianfan ,his scenes will come up later in the book.He and Han Ping are cousins

"Mom am here to take you away from this cage ...you can't keep living like this so don't ask questions "After saying this he walked his mother back to her bed and covered her with the quilt

His mother's eyes reddened from hearing him say such emotional words

Because he had grow up under the shadows of his half brother and constant harsh words and Insults from the Wu family , also received beatings from his father's first wife whenever she saw him and this caused him to have a traumatic experience, his heart finally turned hard and cold when he saw his father come back home one night when he was drunk and beat his mother to a pulp because she refused to satisfy his sexual desire .... that night he hid under the dinning table and watched how his mother was almost raped and how much she cried, looking at her face then Little Gao Yi cried along with her but that was the very last day he shed tears because after that night he started planning his escape and after 12 years of that planning,on his graduation day he left home that day and never returned till after seven years

PRESENTLY

his mother hand reached for his face and she silently thanked God for giving her such a filial son

"Okay I'll leave with you tomorrow"she finally agreed

"Also Mother.... whatever happens tomorrow

please do not interfere" saying that he kissed his mothers cheeks and left the room after turning off the lights

Inside his room

Gao Yi picked up his phone and dialed a number

which was answered afer few rings

a groggy voice spoke

"Xiao Yi ?....what's wrong "

"Is everything I asked for prepared"the man asked

"Yes.....but are you really sure you want to do this

the man pretended like he didn't hear anything

"Tomorrow at 9 o'clock sharp"after saying that he hung up

The next day

immediately after Gao Suyin finished packing her belongings she walked out with her suit case in tow

but fist she walked towards her son's room on the opposite side of the narrow corridor ND knocked on it

knock *knock* knock

After about three minutes the door opened to reveal Gao Yi in his impeccable Navy blue Military uniform with his epaulettes that showed a pine branch and solitary star which represented his rank ,he also had on black hand gloves ....he had broad shoulders and a height of six feet and long legs that went well with his military boots

topping his look was a navy blue Military Baret

looking at her son she thought he looked to handsome and suave

"Are your bags ready"

"Yes...can we leave now I don't want your father to find out about your plan I'm scared he may_"

before she could complete her sentence he Interrupted her

"Beat me? scold me...Mother like I said whatever happens today please do not interfere "just as he finished speaking he heard his phone ring

after he say the name flashing on the screen he answered immediately

"speak"

"Sir we are ready "

"Hmmm...wait for me I'll be down soon"saying that he hung up the call

he looked at his mother and finally felt his heart swell in joy and happiness because this was the day he had been waiting for since that fateful night

"Mother let's go "

"Mmmh"

As they both walked down from the stairs they saw the Wu couple in the living room having a chat

when Su Lanying looked up after talking a sip of tea from her tea cup her hand shook and she spilled the hot tea on her expensive tailor made qipao

"Ahhh"she cried out in pain

when Wu Chonglin saw what happened his eyes darkened and he glared at the pair of mother and son

"Look what that face of yours has caused .….if it causes so much trouble I think you should go back to where you are coming from and stop showing that disgusting face of yours in from of me and my wife"

Gao Yi ignored him like he didn't hear anything he said

When he finally decended the stairs he stood in front of his father and spoke

"Mr Wu thank you for taking care of me and my mother all these years.... however, I am here now to take her away to avoid getting in the way of your family_" when he saw that Wu Chonglin face that had turned dark while he wanted to interrupt him

"Mr Wu I know what you are thinking and I'll advice you not to take that step because the consequences won't be small ....as I was saying I'll pay you back all the money you used in training me in school and feeding I and my mother....I also know that we have bothered your life and family, I'll also pay for that"

After saying that he bowed and straighten his back

By now Su Lanying was seething with rage but she was to surprised to say anything.

When Gao Yi left seven years ago she was the happiest person to know about it because she thought that he would never come back...And right now the only thing she thought off was her son and the Wu family inheritance

'would he came back to fight for his inheritance as the first son.'

'No no i can't let this happen '

she looked at him in a slightly haughty Manner and spoke

" Gao Yi once you step out of the door don't bother coming back because the doors to the Wu family will be closed forever,also don't ever get the mentality that you'll ever have a share in the Wu family's inheritance and assets because you are just a bastard no no let me rephrase that 'illegitimate bastard '.

Gao Suyin clenched her fist in anger when she heard the middle aged woman

finally she swallowed what she wanted to say looked at her son

"Let's go I feel disgusted just by staying In the same space with this classless hooligans "

before they could get tote door

Wu Chonglin voice boomed from behind them

" Who said you could leave?"

Gao Yi stopped in his tracks but didn't turn

"I didn't ask for permission I was just letting you know you won't be seeing any more of my face or my mother's here again.... don't even try to stop me "after speaking he walked out the door

when his mother saw the lined up cars outside the streets of the villa district she was speechless

she looked at he son and was suddenly curious about his rank in the army

but she decided not to dive into that for now

Before they could walk across the street to enter the car

Wu Chonglin walked forward and held Gao Suyin's hands

"You are not allowed to leave"

Gao Yi thought to himself 'this is the height of it'

he turned around with a cold aloof and detached expression

"Let go "

Wu Chonglin refused

"This is the last time I'll repeat my self

L.E.T G.O"

still the man refused

giving a signal to his military bodyguards

suddenly the bodyguards brought out their guns and directed it towards Wu Chonglin

feeling utterly defeated he clenched his teeth in anger and reluctantly let go of her had

"Remember this Gao Yi you will never have a place in this family so don't you dare think of coming back "after saying that he walked away

finally coming back to her senses Gao Suyin spoke

"Let's go "
