97. Wild Cold

Mr. Cuddles examined Lana as she sat on the checkup table. As he examined her with a stethoscope the rest of the Louds, Soothsayer and Petty gathered around. Sam and the Santiagos had decided that this was a family matter and went home wishing Lana well as they left.

"I hope Lana's ok." Lincoln said.

"Same here, it was weird seeing her transform into a T-Rex even after the whole early winter stuff." Lori said.

"As long she keeps her distance from us." Lola said. "I can't get sick again!"

Mr. Cuddles pulls out a reflex hammer and taps Lana's knee. After he taps it, Lana sneezes and turns into a kangaroo and in turn sends Mr. Cuddles flying with a kick.

"I'm ok!" Mr. Cuddles shouted before walking back. "Well you definitely got a cold."

"That's it?" Lana asks.

"I'm afraid not." Soothsayer said. "You see you got a cold from winter caused by Jack Frost's staff. A cold caused by that could last an unknown amount of time. But one thing puzzles me. How do you have a cold? You were only using arctic and ice age animals correct? And how is it nobody else has a cold?"

"Simple. Our suits were created to keep us at our natural body temperature no matter the weather." Lisa explained. "However Lana's suit was complicated. No matter what I did, the suit's effects disappeared when she turned into animals so if we were in different climate, Lana would have to be an animal best suited for that climate. But again how is Lana sick? Didn't you stick with arctic and Ice Age animals?"

Well, not all of them." Lana replied as she morphed back to her human form.

"What do mean by that?" Lisa asked. "You turned into an animal that can't handle extreme cold didn't you?" Lisa asked.

"I can explain!" Lana exclaimed.

Flashback a few hours ago.

Wildgirl in wolf form is avoiding an ice giant's attacks, but Genarocker punches The ice giant in the face with her mechanical fists shattering the giant into pieces. Wildgirl smirks until another ice giant hits Wildgirl with a car and she reverts back to her human form. She tumbled until she hits a wall then the ice giant slams the car onto Wildgirl.

The giant goes for another hit but Wildgirl quickly went gorilla and her fist collided with the ice giant's. However the fist started to cracked and eventually it shattered. Wildgirl threw another punch that then obliterated the ice giant before reverting back to human.

End flashback

"YOU WENT GORILLA!?" everyone shouted.

"It was only for a few seconds." Lana said. "I panicked!"

"I see." Lisa said. "You go gorilla so much it became natural for you to do so that you instinctively went it. That makes sense." However she walked up to Lana and smacked her upside the head. "That's for not following my instructions and going an animal not made for cold."

"I panicked!" Lana exclaimed.

"That doesn't mean you go an animal who can't handle extreme cold." Lisa replied. Lana sneezed again and turns into a elephant.

"Sorry Lana but you kinda deserve this." Lola said. "Um, where's Lincoln?" They hear muffled screaming coming from behind Lana's elephant body.

"Lana change back you're crushing Lincoln!" Lori ordered. Lana changed back and Lincoln took a deep breath of relief.

"Damn what the hell Lana?" Lincoln shouted. "You seriously went elephant?"

"Hey I had no control over that!" Lana argued before sneezing causing her to turn into a spider.

"Ahh! SPIDER!" Leni screamed before going to step on Lana before being held back by Lynn.

"Leni chill it's just Lana!" Lynn told her.

Lana sneezed again and turns into a pig, she sneezed again and turns into a puma, she sneezed again and turns into a hippo. Then she sneezed again and turns into a horse. "What's going on with me?!" Lana asked scared.

"Hmm this is interesting." Lisa said.

"Um, Teddy dude, what's going on with Lana?" Luna asked. "Why's she turning into animals every time she sneezes?"

"I'm not sure." Mr. Cuddles admitted. "Might be a side-effect of her powers. Like there are some instances where you can't control your powers and they do things you don't want them to do. Like Lori sometimes runs so fast that she can't stop or Luna discharges more electricity then intended or Lola getting too carried away with her crystals. Lana when she has a good sneeze turns into random animals. It's actually kinda funny."

"Yeah it's like we have our own zoo." Luan chuckled.

"But one problem we have to deal with." Lori said. "Hiding this from mom and dad."

"Yeah that's a problem." Lucy said. "But if what Soothsayer is saying is true, how do we hide Lana's powers for months?'

"Fear not children, I will make a potion that will cure Lana of her ailment." Soothsayer proclaimed. "However it will take a few days to get the ingredients."

"A few days!?" The Louds exclaimed.

"Yes, some of the ingredients are rare." Soothsayer said.

"It'll be a problem when we're at school and Lana is alone with mom and dad." Luan said. "They'll hear animal noises coming from the twins' room."

"Doesn't Lana have a bunch of pets?" Mr. Cuddles asked. "Can't you blame them for the noises?"

"Only to a certain extent." Lori said. "Lana doesn't have a tiger or a bear or a dinosaur. So that's where the problem is."

"Well school shouldn't be a problem." Lucy pointed out. "If Lana is sick, mom and dad will want to keep her home and then Charles and the others can keep an eye on her and warn her if mom or dad come to check on her when she accidentally turns into an animal."

"That can work." Lori said. "Soothsayer let us know when you have the cure and we'll be here right away. If we can."

"I shall do otherwise Lori." Soothsayer replied.

"Alright let's head home." Lori ordered.

When the Louds walked into the house they didn't see either of their parents.

"Coast is clear dudes." Luna said and at that moment Lana sneezed and turned into a wildebeest.

"Kids is that you?" A voice shouted from their parents's room.

"Crap it's mom." Luan said. "Quick change back!" Lana nods and quickly turns back to human just as Rita walked in.

"Oh it is you." Rita said. "Did one of you sneeze?"

"Lana did." Lincoln said. Rita places her hand on her daughter's forehead and kept it there.

"Aw sweetie you're burning up." She said. "I think you might have a fever. Well there's no way I'm sending you to school tomorrow. Lola will have to bring your stuff home. Luckily for you I can work from home so I'll keep an eye on you."

"Thanks mom." Lana replied.

"You must have gotten that fever from that unexpected blizzard outside." Rita stated. "Are the rest of you kids alright?"

"We kept warm from that blizzard outside." Lori replied.

"Oh Lana you must've not have had enough layers." Rita said. "No up to your room young lady and get some rest. Once your father gets home I'll bring you up some soup."

"Where is dad?" Lynn asked.

"Cleaning up his restaurant after those snowmen and ice monsters attacked." Rita answered. "Now upstairs Lana."

Lana walked upstairs and head straight towards her room. But when she's out of sights she sneezed and a monkey screech can be heard. "What was that?" Rita asked.

"Nothing! It was just my phone! I got a Notification!" Lana called out from upstairs.

"Your notification sound is a monkey screech?" Rita asked suspiciously.

"Um yeah I've been meaning to change that." Lana lied before turning human and running into her room. "That was too close. What if I was in sight? Mom would flip out. This isn't gonna be as easy as I thought especially if I can't control when I transform when I sneeze. What if I morph into something that can't hide like a whale? I just gotta hope mom and dad don't notice and hope that Soothsayer gets the potion finished before I get noticed."

The siblings minus Lana are in the living room watching TV until their dad enters the doorway. "Hey gang, I'm home!" Lynn Sr called out. "Sorry I'm late. The restaurant was attacked by killer snowmen and ice monsters."

"Are you ok dad?" Leni asked.

"Sure am." Lynn Sr. replied. "I got saved by Speed Queen, Firecracker and Multiple Girl. If it wasn't for them, your old man would be a gonner." He looks at his kids and sees one's missing. "Hey where's Lana?"

"Oh she got a cold because of the blizzard." Lynn answered.

"Oh that's awful." Lynn Sr. said. "I better prepare some soup to help her get better." He then runs to the kitchen.

"Hey Lola, how are you going to sleep in your room since Lana keeps sneezing and turning into different animals?" Lincoln asked.

"Huh. I never thought of that until now." Lola said. "I don't want Lana to turn into a fish and gasp for air. Nor get crushed by those giant beasts."

"Well Fangs could probably keep an eye on her tonight and if you want you can room with one of us." Lucy said.

"Maybe but I'll stay in my room." Lola said. "I'm sure thing'll be fine."

"If you can survive the night without being crushed by a whale." Lynn said.

"I'll be fine." Lola replied.

"For now let's just figure how to get Lana through the night." Lori said. "As for you Lola, I suggest you stay with me and Leni."

"Ok." Lola sighed.

"Trust me, it's for the best." Lori said. "We can't risk getting you either hurt or infected."

"Ok." Lola said. "I hope Lana will be ok."

Later that night, Lola is sleeping in Lori's bed and they were sleeping peacefully until Lana sneezes and a animal groan is heard waking up the three girls.

"Ugh, I can't get my beauty sleep with Lana's sneezing." Lola groaned under her breath.

"Better see what animal she is." Lori groaned. The three girls walk to Lana and Lola's room where they open the door to see a lion sleeping on Lana's bed.

"Oh no!" Leni whispered. "She morphed."

"Where's Fangs? He's supposed to be watching her." Lola growled. On cue Fangs flew through the window. "Fangs where were you?"

"Getting something to eat." Fangs answered. "And there's a lion in Lana's bed." They hear footsteps coming up the stairs. "That sounds like your mother."

"Crap she must be coming to check on Lana." Lori said. "Ok you guys try to wake up Lana. I'll stall mom. Also i think Hops is under Lana."

Lola, Leni and Fangs head straight to Lana and begin to shake her. "Lana wake up!" Lola said. "Mom's coming and you turned into a lion."

"Wake up Lana." Leni said.

Lana yawns and rolls over. Once she does that, Hops pops his head out and takes a deep breath.

"Thank God I couldn't breathe." Hops gasped.

"Dang it. I forgot that Lana was a deep sleeper." Lola whispered.

"How do we wake her up?" Leni asked.

"Let me think!" Lola replied.

"Can I make a suggestion?" Hops asked.

"Sure." Leni replied.

"Pull her tail." Hops suggested. "Sure she might attack but she'll be awake."

"Ok I'll give it a try." Leni said as she reached for the tail.

Outside the room Lori was trying to run interference with her mother.

"Mom. What are you doing up here?" Lori asked nervously.

"Well I heard an animal noise coming from the twins room and it didn't sound like one of Lana's pets." said Rita.

"You're probably hearing things." said Lori.

"Look Lori I just want to check on Lana." Rita said trying to move past her oldest daughter.

"I already did." Lori said quickly. "She's fine."

"Well I still want to check on her myself Lori." Rita said.

"I'm sure she's fine." Lori said. The two then suddenly hear a loud shout come from the twins room. Rita immediately pushes past Lori to the room. When she opens the door she sees Lana on the floor rubbing her backside and being checked on by Leni and Lola.

"Are you girls ok?" Rita asked.

"Yeah mom. I just fell out of bed." Lana lied. Rita narrows her eyes suspicious before sighing.

"Look girls it's late." Rita said. "Everyone back in bed please." She picks Lana up and puts her back in bed. "Get some rest ok sweetie."

"I will mom." Lana said as she went back to sleep.

"Alright back to bed everyone." Rita said as she walked back downstairs to her bedroom.

"That was too close." Lori said as she, Leni and Lola headed back to their room.

"I know. Mom almost saw Lana as a lion." Lola said.

"I hope things go better tomorrow while we're at school." Lori said.

The next day, the Loud siblings minus Lana and Lily are at school, the pets are keeping an eye on Lana in case she turns into an animal and Rita just in case she checks up on Lana. Lana is laying down on her bed, as she sighs. "Man this bites." Lana said.

"At least it's better than that cavity you had." Hops said sitting on Lana's nightstand.

"Don't remind me." Lana sighed. "I should have turned into a polar bear, but I always go gorilla."

"I get it but you need to be more careful." Hops said. Lana sighs and sneezes where she becomes a rat. "Bless you."

"Thanks." Lana said. "Man I'm so bored. I'll go watch some TV."

Lana begins to get out of bed and walks towards the door. "Lana, I don't think that's a good idea. Your mom could see you turn into an animal." Hops protested.

"Don't worry it'll be fine." Lana assured him. Once she's out of the room Hops presses a button on a walkie-talkie.

"Lana's on the move!" Hops said. "I repeat Lana is on the move."

Charles listens in on the call. "Roger take." Charles nodded as he hung up.

"I see her coming down the stairs." Walt reported.

"Rita is currently in the kitchen working on her newspaper column for tomorrow's paper." Geo reported.

"Good." Charles said. "You two keep an eye on Rita. Cliff and I will stick with Lana."

"You got it." Walt said.

"Operation don't have a cow mom is a go." Charles said as Cliff gives him a deadpan look. "It's the best I can come up with."

"You've spent to much time with Lincoln." Cliff said. They then see Lana coming down the stairs who then sits with them on the couch. "Hey kiddo how you feeling?"

"Lousy." Lana groaned. "I'm just gonna watch TV."

"You sure? There's nothing good on TV during the day. Trust me I know." Cliff said.

"I'll find something." Lana said as she sits on the couch and grabs the remote and turns on the TV.

She flips through the channels trying to find something to watch when she feels a sneeze coming. Seeing that she's about to sneeze, Cliff quickly slides his tail under her nose stopping it.

"Got it." Cliff said.

"That was close." Charles said. Cliff then moves his tail away from Lana's nose. However once he moved it. Lana sneezes and turns into...

"Ahh! Lana a dolphin!" Cliff shouted.

"Of all animals why did she turn into a dolphin?!" Charles asks panicked.

"Lana are you ok?" Rita asked from the kitchen.

"Quickly Lana turn back to human!" Cliff said. "Dolphins can't survive on land long!"

Lana nodded and turns back to her human form. "Yeah everything's fine mom!" Lana replied.

"Are you sure?" Rita asked. "I thought I heard something."

"No everything is fine!" Lana said quickly. "Hey mom can I go out and get some fresh air and maybe go to the park?"

"I don't know sweetie." Rita answered. "You're still not feeling well and I'm not sure if I want you to go alone."

"I won't be long!" Lana said. "I won't be a bother."

Rita thinks about it and sighs. "Fine. But be back in an hour." said Rita.

"Will do." Lana said before running out of the house. Once she's outside she let's out a sigh of relief. "Finally fresh air." She sneezes and morphs into a stork. "Dang it."

Lana walked to the park, but she changed to Wildgirl so her Identity Is blown. Wildgirl walked to the pond and see two fish popping out of the water. "Hey guys. I hate to say it but I can't swim today. I have a cold." Wildgirl said and sighed.

"Having a cold really sucks." Wildgirl continued. "I hope Soothsayer gets all the ingredients he needs to fix me."

"Hey Loud." Wildgirl looks around to see Mr. Grouse sitting on a bench. "How's it going? I heard you were sick."

"Oh hey Mr. Grouse." Wildgirl said. "Yeah I'm sick with a nasty cold caused by an ice god's staff."

"Sounds like quite the story." Grouse said. Wildgirl walks up and sits next to him.

"Can I ask you something?" Wildgirl asked.

"Shoot." Grouse replied.

"When you mess up and you start to feel bad because of a moment of weakness, how do you feel better?" Wildgirl asked.

"Hmm. That sounds like a problem. Well there are times where I do have those days. But I reflect on those times to see how I could have make myself look better. But keep this in mind, mistakes make us stronger." Grouse said.

"Yeah I know." Wildgirl said. "It's just sucks that I made such a stupid mistake. I should know better?"

"Did you learn from it?" Grouse asked.

"I think so." Wildgirl answered.

"What did you learn?" Grouse asked.

"Never turn into an animal that can't handle the cold." Wildgirl said.

"See? Mistakes happen, but what matters is if you learn from them." Grouse said before standing up. "See you around Loud. Get better soon." He then walks off.

"Yeah thanks." Wildgirl said with smile before looking at her watch. "Still got time before I gotta go home. I'm gonna head into the city." She turns into a seagull and flies off. Once she's in the city she looks around for any problems. However she sneezes causing her to turn into a trout and fall towards the ground. "Aw come on!" She quickly turns into a bird and glides back to the ground. "Man I didn't even think birds could sneeze." Suddenly an explosion comes from the nearby electronic store. Wildgirl looks over to see Leonard Miller walking out with several electronics.

"Damn why does Jestor even need this stuff." Miller muttered. Once he's outside he sees Wildgirl. "Wildgirl? What are you doing here hooligan? Can't go anywhere without L-Crew interference."

"Miller! Something tells me you didn't buy those." Wildgirl said.

"I love to stay and chat but I have business to attend to." Miller said and ran off.

"Oh hell no." Wildgirl said before going cheetah and giving chase. Once she's close she pounces on him knocking him off his feet. He looks up at her and sees her snarling on top of him. "Didn't expect me to go after you as a cheetah did you?" She raises a paw to strike him but as she swipes at him she sneezes causing her to change and she hits Miller with a smaller paw. She looks at herself and sees she's fox. "Uh oh."

"What's this? Losing control of your powers?" Miller mocked. "This should be easy then." He punches Wildgirl off of him before getting up.

Wildgirl turns back to her human form and growls. "I'm in control of my powers." Wildgirl said as she morphs into a rhino and charged at Miller. Miller gets ready for impact, but Wildgirl sneezes again and turns into a panda. "Come on!" Wildgirl groaned.

"Ha! A panda?" Miller mocked. "What's that gonna do?"

"Pandas are bears." Wildgirl thought. "Which means they have claws. While they're not as strong as other bears I've turned into I'll make this work." Wildgirl rears up and swiped Miller in the side of the head causing the man to stagger.

"Damn it." Miller growled. "You'll pay for that."

Wildgirl gets into a battle stance as she morphs into a grizzly bear and growls. She swiped her claw at Miller again and he staggers again. But Wildgirl sneezed again and she morphs into a calico cat. Miller bursted out in laughter, until Wildgirl lunges at Miller and begins to claw his face.

"Still think it's funny?" Wildgirl taunts as she scratches Miller's face. Miller grabs her and throws her off his face.

"You'll pay dearly for that." Miller growled.

"This isn't good." Wildgirl muttered. "Normally I could probably beat Miller easily but because of my cold I keep changing into animals I don't want. Plus he hasn't used that serum that makes him super buff. I gotta be careful." She then goes velociraptor.

Wildgirl charged towards Miller and bit into Miller's right arm and he screams at the top of his lungs. Miller punches Wildgirl with his left arm knocking her down.

Wildgirl snarls at him and goes rhino. She charges forward towards Miller but once she gets close, she sneezes and next thing Miller knew, a armadillo bounced off his chest.

Wildgirl turns back to her human form and landed in a 3 Crouched position. "Man I freaking hate this cold." Wildgirl muttered under her breath.

"Well I'm loving it." Miller said. "Maybe I'll even be able to bring you back to Jestor as a trophy."

"Not gonna happen." Wildgirl growled. Miller pulls out his injection gun with a serum inside and puts the needle in his arm allowing the serum to enter his system. Soon Miller's muscles get bigger and bigger. Wildgirl growled and goes gorilla.

"Your gorilla for won't beat me." Miller said. Wildgirl doesn't answer. She just beats her chest and does a loud bellow.

Miller smirked as he and Wildgirl charged at each other and began a brawl. Miller punches Wildgirl in the gut, while Wildgirl gave Miller a double axe handle and a backhand smack. Miller recovers from the attack and gives Wildgirl a uppercut to the face.

Wildgirl growled and hits Miller with a hard punch to the face sending him flying back. Miller growled as he sees Wildgirl loping towards him. As she goes to throw a punch, Wildgirl sneezes and Miller is hit with a small hand. Wildgirl looks at herself and sees she's a capuchin monkey.

"Dang it." Wildgirl groaned. "And i was kicking his butt too."

Miller then kicks Wildgirl and she hits a wall on impact. Wildgirl is morph back into her human form. Wildgirl gets back up as she wiped the blood off of her lips. "You still won't give up Wildgirl?" Miller asked.

"Not until you are stopped." Wildgirl growled.

"Ha! I ain't ever gonna be stopped unless Jestor is stopped and that ain't gonna happen." Miller said.

"Says you." Wildgirl said. She glares at him but sneezes and what she morphs into surprised both herself and Miller. She had become the t-rex. "Finally the sneeze turned me into something useful."

Miller backed away in fear as Wildgirl approached him. "I'm going to enjoy this." Wildgirl snarled.

Miller tries to run away but Wildgirl gives chase and picks him up with her teeth. She then throws him up and as he falls to the ground Wildgirl hits him with her tail sending him flying. Miller let's out a groan and sees Wildgirl approaching him. However Wildgirl sneezes and Miller smiles.

"Looks like the t-rex is done and I'll get the victory." He says. However his smile disappeared when he sees what she became. The triceratops.

"Well what do you know?" Wildgirl said. "Another useful combat animal."

Wildgirl charged towards Miller but he grabbed Wildgirl by the horns and turns to hold back. But Wildgirl gains the upper hand and rams Miller to a wall. Wildgirl sneezes again and turns into a elephant. That's when Wildgirl grabs Miller with her trunk and smacks him around and throws him to the ground.

"How is this happening?!" Miller shouted. Unknown to him, William also didn't understand.

"How is this happening?" Wildgirl thought. "So far I've turned into three animals in a row that I use to fight in succession. This shouldn't be possible yet it's happening. Can't question it now. Gotta focus on Miller." She let's out a loud trumpet and charges forward and hits Miller with her tusks. Miller growls as Wildgirl sneezes again causing her to turn into a falcon.

"Lucks running out Wildgirl." Miller taunted.

"Knew it was too good to be true." Wildgirl thought. "Unless, maybe I can work with this. Falcons are fast and agile and I can claw his damn eyes! Alright let's fight as a falcon!"

Wildgirl flew towards Miller, she let's put a screech and attacked Miller's face. "My eyes!" Miller screamed in pain as Wildgirl attacked Miller's with her Talons.

"Still think it's funny punk!?" Wildgirl shouted.

As Wildgirl circles around she sneezes again however she disappeared. "Where did she go?" Miller wondered. Unknown to him a mosquito was playing by his ear.

"Time to get the drop on Thai guy." Wildgirl thought.

She sticks her needle into Miller's ear causing him to grunt in pain and smack his own ear. "Damn bugs." He growled.

"Missed me!" Wildgirl taunted.

"Wildgirl?" Miller growled. "So she's a bug huh? Doesn't matter. She'll be squished."

Miller tried crush Wildgirl with his hands but she dodged the smacks and claps. "Miss me!" Wildgirl taunted.

"Hold still!" Miller growled.

"Not happening." Wildgirl shouted. She then feels a sneeze coming. "Crap I'm about to sneeze. Please turn me into something good." She flies towards Miller as she sneezes. Miller's eyes widen as he's hit full force by a rhino.

"A rhino, perfect." Wildgirl smirked as Miller began to get up. "Had enough Miller, I can do this all day!"

"So can I!" Miller retorted. Suddenly two Jestorbots fly towards him. One their chests open to reveal a screen with Jestor on.

"Miller quit fooling around." Jestor ordered. "Return immediately."

"Yes sir." Miller growled. "This isn't over Wildgirl." He grabbed a Jestorbot and flew off with the stolen goods.

"Dang it Miller got away." Wildgirl growled. " I'll let him go this time. But when I'm all better he won't be so lucky."

She turns back to human and checks her watch. "Crap! I gotta get home quick!" Wildgirl said before going eagle and flying off.

Wildgirl flies to the Loud House and goes behind a tree and turns back into Lana. Lana walks up to the front door and opens it. "Hey mom I'm home!" Lana called out.

"You're late Lana. What happened?!" Rita called out.

"There was construction on the sidewalk." Lana lied.

"Really?" Rita asks suspiciously. "Are you sure it wasn't because of a fight between Wildgirl and some supervillian?"

"No I didn't even know there was a fight." Lana said nervously.

"Are you sure young lady?" Rita asked suspiciously. "You didn't stopped and watched the fight?"

"No I didn't. I ran away as fast as I can." Lana replied.

Rita narrows her eyes as she looked her six year old suspiciously as Lana started to sweat bullets. However Rita sighs. "Well alright then." She said finally. "Now I want you to go upstairs and get some rest. I'll bring you some soup later."

"Yes mom." Lana said before going upstairs to her room. When she got in there all her pets and the house pets were waiting for her.

"I see you're finally home." Geo said from on top of Charles's head.

"I had to make a pit stop while stopping Miller. But he got away." Lana explained.

"You fought him?" Charles asked. "In your current condition?!"

"I'm still alive am I?" Lana replied as she gets into bed.

"But Lana you took a huge risk." Hops said. "What if you became an ant and he stepped on you? You'd be dead."

"I know I took a risk but he technically attacked me." Wildgirl said. "I couldn't just walk away after that."

"You, could have been killed or worse." said Cliff. "You should have called your siblings."

"By the time they get there. Miller would have gotten away." Lana protested.

"But he still did." Walt said. "He still escaped with the stolen goods."

"True. Guess my argument isn't that good is it?" Lana admitted. "Besides I really couldn't call Lincoln and the others because they were in school so I acted without thinking."

"Lori's not going to be happy about this." Geo said.

"Yeah I know and I'm not looking forward to hearing Lori's lecture." Lana groaned.

"But you should've expected it." Cliff said.

"Whatever. I need some sleep." Lana said as she layer down and get some rest.

Lana woke two hours later with stretch. However as she stretched she saw black paws. She looked at herself and saw she was a cat. "Crap." She muttered. "I must've sneezed while I was sneezing. Why didn't anyone wake me up?" She walks out of the room and saw all the pets playing cards. "Figures. You know you guys are bad at your job."

"Hey you seem peaceful. We figure we play some cards while you were sleeping." Charles said.

"Besides we haven't heard your mom come upstairs." Cliff responded.

"Is she home?" Lana asked.

"Yeah she's in the dining room right now." Walt said. "Alright Gary are you gonna draw a card or not?"

"I'll draw." Gary said as he picked up a card from the deck.

"Alright boys show em." Charles said.

"I don't like my hand." Diablo admitted. "As ironic as it sounds." They show their cards and Izzy is the victor.

"Finally won a hand!" Izzy exclaimed. Lana sneezes and becomes a buffalo.

"Lana what was that?" Rita called upstairs.

"I just sneezed." Lana replied.

"I have a thud upstairs." Rita called out.

"I fell out of bed." Lana called back.

"Lana that was a really loud thud for falling out of bed." Rita said. "I'm coming up."

"Quick hide the cards!" Bitey shouted.

Cliff, Bitey, and Gary grabs the cards and run. "Lana, quick change back." Charles said. "I'll keep your mom busy." Charles said as he ran downstairs

Rita walked towards the stairs but before she can climb them, Charles runs up to her and barks. "Not now Charles, I need to check up on Lana." Rita said.

Charles starts whining and fakes a limp. "Charles are you ok?" Rita asked as she picked up the dog. "Aw did you hurt your paw? Oh dear I hope it's not serious." Charles looks over Rita's shoulder and sees Cliff signaling him that Lana was cleared. Charles nods and licks Rita's cheek before freeing himself from Rita's grasp and running off. "Well that was odd." Rita goes up the stairs and sees Lana walking through the hallway towards the bathroom.

"Oh hi mom." Lana said.

"Lana, are you okay? I heard a thud." Rita asked with concern in her voice.

"Yeah I'm fine. I fell out of bed and I went to the bathroom." Lana said.

"But that was a really loud thud." Rita said. "Are you sure that it was just you that fell?"

"Yeah I'm sure of it. Maybe a large box or book fell." Lana lied.

"Really?" Rita asked suspiciously. Nearby, all the pets peeked out of Lana's room.

"That's the best she could come up with?" Izzy asked.

"I would've thought of sssomething elssse." Diablo agreed.

"She probably panicked." Fangs proposed.

"She needs to think of something and fast." Hops said.

"Lana. I want the truth young lady." Rita asked sternly.

"Um you see." Lana stammered. "My bed broke!"

"Your bed broke?" Rita repeated.

"Yeah it broke." Lana said. The pets all facepalmed with Diablo using his tail.

"I think we need to break her bed." Hops said.

"Yep." Gary agreed.

"How did your bed break? You would need the weight of a buffalo to break it." Rita asked.

"It's old and it loses it's strength over time." said Lana.

"Lana we literally got it for you last year." Rita said in monotone.

"Oh yeah." Lana said sheepishly. "Um but it's broken though!"

"I'm going to walk to your room and see that your bed is fine." Rita said as walked towards the twins' room.

"Mom wait!" Lana exclaimed.

Rita looked at Lana's side of the room and sees that her bed is broken, the legs are broken off and the mattress ripped. "Wow your bed really is broken." Rita said.

"Uh yeah. It's really broken." Lana said surprised.

"We'll have to order you a new one." Rita said. "I'll go see if I can find the air mattress for tonight."

"Ok then." Lana said as Rita walked downstairs to the basement. Lana looked at her bed as Hops is sitting then on her nightstand. "So you guys destroyed my bed?"

"Well we needed your mom to believe the lie and we had no choice." Hops said. "Besides you suck at lying."

"I'm sorry." Lana said. "I panicked. But thanks guys. I owe you guys one."

"We want extra food at dinner." Cliff said.

"And I want all the flies." Hops added.

"You got it buddy. Extra flies." Lana said. "Where am I going to rest for the time being?"

They think about it before slowly turning to Lola's bed and sly smiles form on all their faces. "I mean Lola won't be home for another couple hours." Lana said.

"True." Charles said. "And you ain't that dirty."

"You're right. I'm sure she won't mind." Lana said as she walks over to Lola's bed and hops in. "Man Lola's bed is really soft, it's going to be hard to-" Lana was cut off when she fell asleep.

Rita was in the living room watching TV when she heard the door open. She then saw the rest of her kids walk into the house.

"Hey kids." Rita greeted. "How was school?"

"Pretty boring." Lynn groaned.

"Nothing special." Lincoln shrugged.

"I got some of some of Lana's homework." Lola said while pointing at her bag.

"Oh good. Why don't you take that up to sister?" Rita suggested.

"Ok." Lola said before running upstairs. A few seconds later they hear Lola shouting. "LANA GET OUT OF MY BED!" They then see Lana running downstairs.

"I'm sorry Lola my bed broke and yours looked so comfy!" Lana said.

"If there's any mud on my bed you will pay!" Lola threatened.

"I didn't get any mud on your bed!" Lana protested.

"If I find mud on your bed. You're a dead girl!" Lola shouted from upstairs.

"I promise you that there's no mud!" Lana said. "Mom wouldn't let me."

"Lana's clean Lola!" Rita called out. "Which is a first time when you Think about it." Rita muttered to herself.

"Fine." Lola groaned.

"Alright Lana get started on your schoolwork." Rita said. "The sooner you get started the better."

"Yes mom." Lana sighed as she walked upstairs.

"Have any of you heard from Soothsayer at all?" Lincoln whispered.

"Last I heard he was in New Guinea." Lisa whispered back.

New Guinea

Soothsayer and Mr. Cuddles ran through through the jungle being chased by cannibals.

"Did you seriously need that flower?" Mr. Cuddles shouted as they ran.

"It was an important ingredient!" Soothsayer shouted back. "How was i supposed to know that there were people who ate other people in this time?"

"Keep running!" Mr. Cuddles shouted.

"I'm sure they successfully avoided cannibals." Lisa said.

"I keep hearing large thuds coming from upstairs and I'm not sure if Lana is hiding a baby elephant upstairs."

"That's insane mom." Lori said. "But I doubt it."

"Ok. I'm gonna take Lily upstairs." Rita said as she took her youngest. "You kids start on your homework." She starts to head upstairs but stops. "You kids aren't hiding anything from us, are you?"

"No of course not." Lori said.

"You know you can tell me and your father anything right?" Rita said.

"We're not hiding anything mom." said Luan.

"Yeah everything's fine." Lincoln replied.

"Are you sure?" Rita asked before turning around and facing her kids. "I want all of you to look me in the eye and tell me the truth. Are you hiding something?"

"No we're not!" Lori said.

"Not at all." Luan and Luna replied.

"Nope." Leni said.

"We're not hiding anything." Lincoln and Lynn said.

"Not at all mother." Lisa stated.

"No." said Lucy.

Rita looks at them all and sighs. "Well ok then." She says before going upstairs with Lily.

"That was interesting." Lisa said.

"Agreed." Lucy said. "It's almost like she doesn't trust us."

"You think mom is losing her trust with us?" Leni asked.

"I doubt that." Lori said. "She's our mom. She always trust us."

"Sadly you're wrong." Lisa said. "There are times where parents begin to not trust their children and sometimes that trust isn't fully restored. We've been lying to our parental figures for months and there have been times where we've almost blown our secret. But I'm sure everything will be fine. Now we should check on our sibling."

"Good idea." Lincoln said. The siblings walked upstairs to the twins' room and see Lana doing her homework.

"Hey Lana. How are you feeling?" Lori asked.

"Lana, what happened to your bed?" Leni asked.

"The pets broke it." Lana admitted. "I turned into a buffalo and mom heard it. She was questioning me so hard so I panicked and said my bed broke."

"You're really bad at lying Lana." Lincoln said.

"You don't need to remind me Lincoln." Lana groaned.

"How are you feeling?" Leni asked. Lana's response was several sneezes that turned her into multiple animals which included a dog, a porcupine and currently a panda.

"No better." Lana said. Her panda form sneezes and she turns into a turtle. However embarrassment covered her face as her sister gushed at her panda sneeze.

"Oh my God! Panda sneezes are literally the cutest thing ever!" Lori said.

"Ugh!" Lana said as turns back to her human form. "I really hate being sick now. Ever since I got my powers it's hard to hide them from Mom and dad."

"But we've done good so far." Lori said. "Let's just hang in there for a couple more days." Suddenly her watch goes off. "What's up?"

"Hey Lori. Got good news." Mr. Cuddles said from the other line. "Soothsayer made the potion. All Lana has to do is drink it."

"That's good to hear. We'll be there as soon as possible." Lori said.

"Ok see you soon." Mr. Cuddles said as Lori end the call on the other line.

"Um, guys there's kind of a problem." Lana said. "Mom won't let me leave."

"Why?" Lola asked.

"Well I went out for a little bit, fought Miller and came home later than she told me to." Lana said.

"We could go but mom would get suspicious." Lynn pointed out. "So how do we get Lana to Soothsayer?"

"Maybe we don't have to." Lincoln said. "Maybe we need to bring Soothsayer to Lana. Girls I have a plan."

Later that day, the ten healthy Loud siblings were doing their schoolwork when they hear a knock on the door. Rita goes to answer it and sees an old man wearing a suit and glasses outside the door.

"Can I help you?" Rita asked.

"Ah yes. I'm Dr. Caine Soothe." The man said. "Your daughter called me and asked me to take look at your daughter."

"Wait one of my Daughters called you? Which one I have ten daughters." Rita asked.

"I believe it was someone named Lori." Caine said.

Rita looked at Lori who just shrugged before turning back to Caine. "I see. So you're here to examine my daughter Lana?" She questioned.

"Indeed. I am doctor and I will give a full diagnosis." Caine said.

"Well ok." Rita said. "Follow me." Rita starts walking with Caine following her. As he passed the Louds, he flashes a thumbs up that the kids return.

They entered the twins' room Where Lana is doing her homework on the floor. "Sweetie, this is Dr. Soothe, he's going to check on your cold." Rita said.

"So you must be the sick little girl?" Caine asked.

Lana only blinked at what she was seeing. Soothsayer was standing in her room wearing a suit. Realizing she hadn't said anything she quickly answered. "Uh yeah. I'm Lana." She said.

"Glad to meet you Lana for the very first time ever." Caine said.

"So you're a Doctor?" Lana asked.

"Correct and I'm going to examine your cold." said Caine. "But first Mrs. Loud, I need you to leave us alone."

"Why would you want me to leave?" Rita asked as she raised an eyebrow in a curious look.

"I only want my patient and myself in a room. That is all." said Caine.

"Oh ok." Rita said suspiciously before leaving the room. Once she's gone, Caine turned to Lana with smile.

"Lana it's me, Soothsayer." Soothsayer said. "I got the potion."

"Thank goodness. I don't know how much longer I can hide my powers from my mom." said Lana.

"That would have been a Disaster if your mother found out about your powers." said Soothsayer.

"I don't care if it's grape flavour, I just want it over with." Lana said.

"Do not worry." Soothsayer said. "It's not grape."

"Thank goodness." Lana said.

"It's strawberry." Soothsayer said. At that Lana made a face. "But it'll cure your cold."

"It'll cure my cold." Lana repeated before grabbing the potion and drinking it. "Not bad."

"Do you feel anything?" Soothsayer asked.

"No I don't." Lana replied.

"It could take a couple hours to take effect." Soothsayer said. "Just try to avoid sneezing for now." Lana sneezes and turns into a giraffe where her long neck was cramped in the small room. "Like that." Lana changed back to human and Soothsayer fixed the room.

"Thanks Soothsayer. I thought mg cover was going to be blown for sure." Lana said.

"Don't mention it Lana." Soothsayer replied.

He turns around and heads out where he sees Rita outside the door. "How is she doc?" She asked.

"She'll be fine." Soothsayer assured her. "It was just a simple cold. I gave her some medicine and after some rest she should be fine. But just to be safe, I'm suggesting no school for tomorrow."

"Ok doctor thank you." Rita said. Soothsayer goes to leave but Rita stops him. "You know Dr. Soothe, you look an awfully similar to the therapist that showed up at the L-Crew's trial. You wouldn't happen to be related would you?"

"Of course." Soothsayer said calmly. "Mere coincidence. Call me if your daughter is still unwell."

"I will. I'll ask Lori for your phone number." Rita said.

"An excellent idea." Soothsayer said as the two walked downstairs. "I hope we meet again in the future." Soothsayer said as he exited the door.

"What a strange doctor." Rita said. She then heads towards Lana's room. "Lana sweetie how are you feeling?"

"Yeah I'm fine. The doctor gave me some medicine that'll kick in a few hours." said Lana.

"That's good." Rita said. "He also suggested I keep you home tomorrow just to make sure you're feeling better."

"Ok I'll stay home from school again." Lana said.

"It's got your own safety and well being Lana." Rita said.

"Ok." Lana said. "When's dinner?"

"Whenever your father gets home." Rita said before becoming serious. "Lana, are you and your sisters hiding something from your father and me?"

"We're not I swear." Lana replied with her eyes widened.

"Don't lie to me young lady." said Rita as she gave Lana a scowl.

"I promise mom." Lana said. "We're not hiding anything. I'm not lying." Rita sighs and rubs her head.

"Ok. I guess I'm just worried that you girls and Lincoln are doing stuff that you aren't supposed to." Rita said. "Now get back to your homework. Your father should be home soon."

"I'm on it mom." said Lana as she went back to do her homework as Rita exited her room.

The next morning Lana went downstairs feeling refreshed. Her nose felt clear and when she sneezed, she didn't turn into an animal which surprised her. After some thought she came to the conclusion that it was only violent sneezes that forces her to turn into animals. While Lisa thought it was farfetched, she had figured it made sense because every other time Lana sneezed she didn't change but when she had a violent sneeze during this cold, she randomly changed. So in her mind it made sense. Sort of.

"Feeling better Lana?" Rita asked.

"Yeah I feel great!" Lana exclaimed. She looks around and sees nobody around. "Everyone leave already?"

"Yeah you just missed them." Rita told her. "Lola grabbed your schoolwork already so you're fine."

"They left without saying good bye." Lana said.

"Well you were sleeping, and they didn't want to disturb you." said Rita.

"I guess." Lana said.

"Now you get some rest. No mud and no rolling around in skunk smell. Just rest." said Rita.

"Ok mom." Lana said before going upstairs. Once she's there she sees Soothsayer waiting for her. "Hey Soothsayer."

"Hello my dear. How are you feeling?" Soothsayer asked.

"Better. That potion worked perfectly." Lana said with a smile. "So thanks."

"Oh you're most welcome." Soothsayer said. "Well I just came by to see how you're feeling." He prepares to leave when he remembers a conversation he had with Mr. Cuddles earlier.

Flashback

"So are you ever gonna tell her?" Mr. Cuddles asked suddenly from where he sat as Soothsayer prepared to leave to visit Lana.

"Tell who what?" Soothsayer asked.

"Tell Lana that her training won't complete until she defeats Xander by herself." Mr. Cuddles said.

"No. Not yet." Soothsayer said. "It's not the right time. If I told her she could go after Xander and get herself killed plus she's just getting over a cold."

"I guess you're right. But what if she finds out about this?" Mr. Cuddles asked.

"That's what I want her to think. Once she defeats Xander, her training will be complete." Soothsayer said. "For the time being you don't tell Lana or her siblings about this."

"I won't tell them, but you're putting your trust in the Louds at risk." Mr. Cuddles said.

"I know." Soothsayer said with a sigh. "But I'm doing what their masters requested in not telling Lana the truth. I'll tell when the time is right."

"I hope you know what you're doing Soothsayer." Mr. Cuddles said.

End Flashback

Soothsayer right before he leaves turns to Lana and smiles. "Take care my dear." He then leaves.

Lynn Sr. is sitting in his bed reading when Rita walks in. "Oh hey honey. Ready for bed?" He asks.

"Almost." Rita said. "Lynn, do you think we raised our kids right?"

"I believe we raised them right. Wait are you talking about how the kids are hiding something from us?" Lynn Sr asked.

"Yes. I feel like they're hiding something from us and they're not telling us." said Rita. "I feel like we're losing our trust with them?"

"Rita I'm sure everything is fine." Lynn Sr. said. "Look I'm sure they'll tell us whatever it is they're hiding when they're ready. But for now let's not force them. And if it suddenly feels like whatever they're doing is too much, then we'll get involved. Ok?"

"If you say so sweetie." Rita said as she exited the bathroom and was dressed in her PJs. "I hope you're right." Rita then joined her husband in bed.

"I know so." Lynn Sr. said as he put his book away. "Good night sweetie."

"Good night." Rita said as Lynn Sr. turned off the lamp light. But Rita couldn't sleep because she was still thinking about if the kids are hiding from her and Lynn Sr.

Smoke: Hey guys, Smoke here. Well we did say this chapter was more comedic. We didn't disappointed, don't worry the next chapter will have some more action scout's honour. Now We know that season 5 started, Zach and I need to make some things clear. Season 5 has not happened in this story. Yet. So that means Schooled, Family Bonding and Boss maybe have not happened. So this story take place before season 5.

Zachlor16: Yeah so don't question us on why the kids aren't in their new grades or why Lori isn't in college. And anything that happens in season 5 will not be mentioned or referenced. Also next chapter will be the setup for 99 and 100. So get ready for that. See you around.
