96. Winter Wonderland

It's nighttime in Royal Woods and on the streets Armor is riding his motorcycle down the streets. "So far nothing yet. Anything on your end Nei Nei?" Armor asked on his watch.

"Nah. So far nothing bad happened on my end." said Surge.

"So who are we looking for again?" Armor asked.

"Dr. Ryan Morrison aka Actinic." Prodigy replied. "A meta human with chemical powers. He's been on a crime spree all over Detroit and Hazeltuckey. We recently received reports that he's here in Royal Woods."

"So what does he look like?" Armor asked.

"Just look for a guy wearing a hazmat suit is my guess." Parkour replied on her watch while riding her ATV.

"Guys we got a break in at the bank downtown." Clyde said. "Cameras seem to be offline."

"Or melted." Prodigy said. "That being said we must hurry."

"Alright let's roll out!" Parkour ordered.

"Who put you in charge?" Surge asked.

"Speed Queen is trying some stuff." Parkour said. "She decided to give me a shot at leading a team even if it's just for tonight."

"It's going to be a regret later on." Surge muttered under her breath.

"Let's get this guy." Parkour said.

In the lobby of the bank, a man wearing a dark silver body suit with pipes on his back that connect to his arms. He has a green circle on his chest, and a glass dome over his head. His head is bald and he's writing a pair of goggles over his eyes. "I need to make a withdraw." He said as the man walked towards the vault.

He shoots chemicals from his hands at the vault causing it to melt off. The man then walks in and begins to stuff the money into a duffel bag. As he continues to fill it, he hears a voice from behind him.

"Hold it right there bub!" The man turns around to see the L-Crew standing outside the vault.

"The L-Crew I presume?" The man said.

"That's right. You must Actinic?" Armor asked.

"That I am." Actinic replied with a cold tone in his voice.

"Surrender and turn yourself in or we'll do it by force." Parkour stated.

"I'm afraid I can't do that." Actinic said. "Now stand aside or else."

"We choose or else." Surge said.

"If you insist." Actinic said as he raised his arm and some gas comes out of the arm. The gas hits the L-Crew and their eyes begin to water and burn.

"My eyes!" Surge growled in pain.

"Tear gas." Prodigy replied.

"Correct." Actinic said. "Now if you excuse me." He blasts the floor creating a hole. "I'll be on my way." He jumps into it.

"Prodigy can we still catch him?" Parkour asked.

"Possibly." Prodigy said. "But we must move quickly."

The team made their way to the hole and jumped down to chase after Actinic. "I got him!" Surge shouted as she flew towards Actinic.

"Wait we need to think of a plan!" Prodigy shouted.

"I got one brainiac. Kick his ass all the way to Ohio!" Surge shouted.

"That's not a plan!" Prodigy shouted. Actinic turns around and blasts Surge with chemicals knocking her out of the air.

"I told you to not interfere." Actinic said.

"Prodigy, think of a plan while we chase him!" Parkour shouted.

"He'll pay for that!" Surge shouted.

"Just stay out of my way!" Actinic said before blasting the top of the tunnel which starts to fall apart. "Now you have a choice. Try to stop me and risk getting buried or escape and save yourselves? The choice is yours. Farwell." He then runs off.

"Damn it we need to go after him!" Armor shouted.

"No! This is too unsafe right now. We must escape before we're trapped." Prodigy said. They all turn to Parkour who was weighing her options before sighing.

"Prodigy's right." Parkour admitted. "We need to get out of here."

"Ok tell us what to do?" Armor asked.

"Back through the hole we came through." Prodigy said.

The four heroes all ran out the exit they came through and it collapsed right when Surge exited the tunnel. "That was a close call." Parkour said.

"Agree. But sadly we lost Actinic in the process." Prodigy stated.

"I know." Parkour said in a low voice. "C'mon. Let's head home and I'll report this to Lori."

"Agreed." Prodigy said.

"Then we'll see you guys around." Armor said before he and Surge headed off in a separate direction.

"I suggest we go too." Prodigy suggested.

"Whatever." Parkour said.

"Are you ok elder sibling?" Prodigy asked. "You seem upset."

"I'm fine! Let's just go!" Parkour shouted.

Back at the Loud house, Lynn and Lisa were reporting to Lori about what went down.

"So he got away." Lori said. "Surprising but we'll catch him."

"This guy hit us with tear gas and Ronnie Anne got herself hit with chemicals. But she's fine." Lynn said. "We had a choice to avoid being trapped or escape a collapsing tunnel."

"You made the right choice. Sure you let Actinc get away. But there's always next time." said Lori.

"I guess." Lynn sighed. "I'm going to bed." Lynn walks out of the room. After she's gone, Lori turns to Lisa.

"She's upset huh?" Lori asked.

"Indeed. Her first mission as a leader was a failure and it seems she taking it quite difficulty." Lisa told her.

"Just give her time." Lori said.

Meanwhile, Lynn was getting into bed when she turns to Lucy's bed.

"Hey Luce you awake?" Lynn asked.

"What is it Lynn?" Lucy asked. "Did something happened tonight?"

"I let a bad guy escape tonight." Lynn said. "First night leading a team and I blew it. I only offered to lead a team because Lori, Luna and Luan are working double time to try and lead all the teams and I want to try and help out. Lighten the workload a little you know."

"I know how you feel." Lucy said. "I've recently lost confidence in my abilities. The way that Cheat was able to easily block my ice and snow like it was nothing made me remember all the times my powers have failed against a foe. Hell even battling Helios I've my confidence start to diminish. I'm lost."

"So I guess we're both having issues." Lynn said. "Maybe tomorrow will be better."

"Perhaps." Lucy said. "Goodnight Lynn."

"Night Lucy." Lynn responded.

Back in the tunnel, Actinic was making his way through the tunnel to a suitable exit spot. "That went smoother than I thought." Actinic said. "I should be approaching a suitable exit place soon." As he continues to walk he noticed something sticking out of the wall of the tunnel. "What could that be?" He approached it and saw that it was a wooden hooked staff. He grabs it and pulls it where he surprised at how cold it is. "Fascinating. I must get this to my lab."

The next morning, Lynn wakes up and gets out of bed. "Morning Luc." Lynn yawned as she sees Lucy looking out the window.

"Uh Lynn you might want to see this." Lucy said without turning her head.

"What is it?" Lynn asked. She approached the window and gasped at what she saw. Royal Woods covered in snow. "Holy crap." She and Lucy ran to their bedroom door and when they get out there, they see the rest of their siblings.

"This is crazy." Lincoln said. "It's September!"

"Lisa did you have anything to do with this?" Lori asked.

"Absolutely not." Lisa answered. "After last time NASA told me to not mess with the weather."

"Ok." Lori said. "What about you Luce? Did you accidentally cause this?"

"I didn't do it." Lucy replied. "I have full control over my powers."

"Maybe another snow based Metahuman is behind this?" Lincoln asked.

"Who knows?" Lana said. "But it looks like a snow day!"

"Yeah let's go out and have some fun!" Lola added.

The twins all ran to their room to get their winter coats, right when Lori's watch starts beeping and she pressed a button and answers it. "Lori, are you guys seeing this?!" Mr. Cuddles shouted.

"You mean how winter just came early in September? Yeah we saw the snow." Lori replied.

"Well it's bigger than that." Mr. Cuddles told them. "The whole town is covered. Soothsayer thinks it's not just strange weather and wants everyone here as soon as possible."

"Right." Lori said.

When the Louds, Santiagos, Sam and Clyde arrive at the base they saw that it was also covered in snow.

"Wow it even snowed here." Leni said. They head inside where they see Soothsayer and Mr. Cuddles standing in the training area. Both were wearing scarves and hats. They look outside and saw what looked like twelve snowmen built. They look and see Petty wearing a large jacket making the snowmen while Tongri who was wearing a scarf helped push the snow.

"I'm glad you kids made it." Soothsayer said.

"You said something about is the cause of winter coming early?" Ronnie Anne asked.

"Is it some kind of ancient being or monster or something?" Sam asked.

"Or something." Soothsayer said.

"We're not a hundred percent sure what's causing this." Mr. Cuddles said.

"We were just as surprised as you when we saw all this snow." Soothsayer said. "So I immediately made us winter wear." Petty looked up his recently finished snowman where he saw the L-Crew gathered. He sees Luna runs over and grabs her.

"Hi mama! Teach Petty snow stuff!" Petty said before dragging Luna off.

"Petty seems to be having fun." Luan comments as they watched Luna teach Petty to do a snow angel.

"He sure is." Lincoln said.

"Petty's is like small child, he's curious about the world around him." said Lisa.

"Yes he was quite surprised when he saw the snow for the first time." Soothsayer said. "But back on topic. This snow is unnatural and it's getting colder by the second."

"The temperature has been dropping. I saw someone pouring their coffee and it was frozen." said Ronnie Anne.

"So we need to stop whoever created this weather or Royal Woods will become a frozen wasteland." Lincoln said.

"Well I mean I'll be fine." Lucy said. "I got ice powers. Also Lincoln just took his jacket off." Everyone turns to see Lincoln no longer wore a jacket.

"Bro really?" Bobby said.

"I'm not cold." Lincoln said.

"He has fire powers, so it makes sense." Lori said.

"Maybe we can use Lincoln to melt the snow?" Leni said.

"I don't think it'll be enough Leni." Lisa replied.

"It won't?" Leni questions.

"No it won't." Lisa said. "But i suggest we do research. We must figure the cause of this snow. It could take hours, days, weeks. But mark my words we will find the solution to this!"

"Hey I think I found something." Clyde said causing Lisa to look at him shocked.

"What?" Lisa said.

"Yeah there's a guy standing on top of that really tall building in the middle of the city that nobody knows anything about." Clyde said.

"Oh you mean the building that the authors just threw in so they didn't have to use a building that already exists because it's hard to remember every single building that exists?" Lincoln said.

"I think so?" Clyde replied confused.

"I can't even remember the names of some of the buildings at times." Ronnie Anne said.

"Talk about new buildings later. When did this building come from?" Lori asked. "It's not like it popped up overnight."

"Maybe fast construction or something?" Luan shrugged.

"I doubt that. Something else could be the work of this building." Mr. Cuddles stated.

"Lincoln you really need to stop breaking the fourth wall." Soothsayer whispered.

"Sorry bad habit." Lincoln said. They all gather around Clyde and see a man on top of the building.

"Wait a minute." Lynn said. "That's the chemical guy we met last night!"

"What's that thing he's holding?" Sam asked. "Martha can you zoom in?"

"Of course." Martha responded. The footage is zoomed in and they see Actinic holding a hooked staff above his head which was blasting ice and snow. Soothsayer took a closer look at the staff and gasped.

"I know that staff!" Soothsayer exclaimed.

"You do Soothsayer?" Lynn asked.

"That's the staff of Jack Frost." Soothsayer replied. "I know that staff anywhere."

"Wait you're staying that's Jack Frost staff?" Ronnie Anne asked.

"That's correct." Soothsayer replied.

"I'm lost." Bobby said. "I thought Jack Frost wasn't real and that it was just name people made up because it sounded cool in a song?"

"Oh no children, Jack Frost is very much real." Soothsayer said. "Grab Luna and Petty. It's time for a story."

"Luna! Bring Petty, Soothsayer has figured out the cause of the early winter!" Lori calls out to Luna.

Luna and Petty ran back inside as Soothsayer begins to explain about Jack Frost. "The Jack Frost you know wasn't some name that companies used for having Batman as a snowman, fighting nightmare monsters with holiday icons and the tooth fairy. No he was a real being in charge of winter." Soothsayer said. "He can make snow and ice like a pro. I should know because he was one of the first students of the Eleven masters."

"Jack Frost was trained by the eleven masters?!" Lynn exclaimed.

"Yes." Soothsayer said. "Though it was before my time of course. He was Miros's first students. However he didn't train long before leaving. You see children, Jack Frost is a God."

"A God?" Luna repeated.

"A God." Soothsayer confirmed. "Why he was here and not in his realm still baffles me. Jack came down to the temple because he was having difficulty with his abilities when he came down or so I was told. Jack disappeared after that. Nobody knew where he went afterwards, until I went on my journey after Izahr. I first met him centuries ago in a place you call Australia."

Flashback- Centuries ago

Soothsayer pushed through the land trying traverse the landscape. Izahr had done well to avoid him so far but his luck was running out. "Izahr I will find you before anyone else perishes at your hand." He said. Suddenly a massive blizzard appears before him. "What is this? A blizzard?" Suddenly a voice echos from the blizzard.

"Halt trespasser!" The voice said. "These lands are mine to protect and you are not welcome here! Leave now!"

"You don't understand! I'm trying to stop a rogue wizard or he'll rule the world in dark times." Soothsayer said.

"I don't care! You will turn around and leave!" The voice shouted.

"No I cannot turn back! I need to stop Izahr!" Soothsayer said.

"Lies!" The voice shouted.

"This is ridiculous." Soothsayer said. "Show yourself!"

Soothsayer looks ahead and sees a man with pale skin, white hair that's spiked up with icy blue highlights, wearing a grey shirt, brown pants, and no shoes. In his hands in a wooden hook staff, as he enters, the blizzard dies down. "My name is Jack Frost. I protect the land that you walk on. Now you reveal yourself." Jack stayed as he pointed his staff at Soothsayer.

"The Jack Frost?" Soothsayer gasped. "The God of Ice and Snow."

"Indeed I am." Jack said. "Now reveal yourself!"

"I am Soothsayer." Soothsayer said. "Please let me by immediately."

"No. Again you're not welcome here." Jack said. "Leave now!"

"Again I can not." Soothsayer told him.

"Then I'll force you to leave." Jack said. He then charges forward with Soothsayer rushing to meet him. The two swing their staffs and they clash.

End Flashback

"Frost and I battled for many days." Soothsayer said. "However I could tell he was holding back a great deal."

"A classic move." Ronnie Anne stated.

"So who won the fight?" Lori asked.

"It's been centuries ago. But we fought until we were exhausted." Soothsayer replied.

"So a draw." Lynn said.

"Yes." Soothsayer said. "Afterwards he let me pass after he found out I was hunting the man who ravaged the land he was protecting. Months afterwards during the battle between mine and Izahr's armies, Jack Frost made an appearance and helped my army push back Izahr's."

"That was nice of him." Leni said.

"That was the last time I saw him." Soothsayer said.

"So that's his staff?" Luna asked.

"Indeed. No mortal should be able to use that." Soothsayer said. "My bet is that he has no control of it."

"Which is more of a reason to take down Actinic." Lori said.

"Shouldn't be too hard right?" Lana asked.

"Yeah he's only one man." Lola said.

In the city Actinic held the staff up as he watched the staff cover the city in ice and snow.

"Perfect." Actinic said. "It's working perfectly. Just as I planned."

Flashback- five hours ago

Actinic scanned the staff that he found and watched the data appear on the screen.

"Interesting, this staff appears to be millions of years old. But it has decay as time went on." said Actinc as he walked over to the staff. "Perhaps I can sell it on the black market and make a large pay in the process."

Suddenly the staff glows and fires ice at the floor freezing some of the lab. "Fascinating." Actinic said. "Perhaps this can be of use to me." He turns to the tank in a far corner of his lab. "In more than one. I need this city to be extremely cold for my research." He grabs the staff. "Time to freeze Royal Woods."

End Flashback

"The city is near the right temperature I need. Soon this city will become a frozen tundra." Actinic said. "And if the L-Crew stand in my way. They will become ice sculptures."

"Ok so we need a plan to take down Actinic and then thaw out the city." Lori said. "Thawing out the city will require Lincoln but we're talking alot ice a snow created by a staff that was wielded by an ice God so who knows if Lincoln can even melt it."

"I can't." Lincoln said.

"How do you know?" Sam asked.

"I just tried." Lincoln said pointing to the scorch marks outside where Petty was eating a snow cone made by Luna. As he was eating, he didn't notice the many snowmen that were made earlier were beginning to come to life. Tongri heard growling and turned his head to see all the snowmen coming to life. Tongri nudges Petty who looks to see the snowmen rushing towards them

"Snowmen bad!" Petty shouted before punching in the head as Tongri leaped onto another one. Inside the L-Crew heard a commotion.

"What's that noise?" Clyde asked.

"It's coming from outside." Lori said.

The Louds, Santiagos and Sam look outside and see Petty and Tongri fighting off against living snowmen. "Lucy did you bring these snowmen to life?" Lincoln asked.

"No. I didn't bring these snowmen to live." Lucy replied.

Petty grabs a snowman and slams it on the ground before uppercutting another as Tongri slashed another in half.

"It's no doubt the staff!" Soothsayer said. "The staff is bringing the snowmen to life." Lincoln took a deep breath and his fire breath at the snowmen incinerating them.

"Done and done." Lincoln said.

"Guys there are evil snowmen and ice monsters attacking the city!" Clyde said.

"Actinic must be making sure we can't get to him!" Luan realized.

"Looks like it." Lynn said. "But those things could be attacking citizens."

"It could be a problem for some people." Lori said.

"The only way to stop this madness is to get the staff away from Actinic and the only one that can do that is Jack Frost himself." Soothsayer said. "That being said, Lucy and I will go to Australia to look for him."

"Me?" Lucy asks pointing to herself. "Why me?"

"Because I'm sure that you'll want to meet him." Soothsayer said with a smile.

"Ok." Lucy said.

"Then the rest of us will split up into four groups to take down the snowmen and ice monsters." Lori said. "I'll lead one, Luna you lead one and Luan you lead one."

"Who's gonna lead the fourth?" Lincoln asked.

"Lynn will." Lori said while flashing a smile to Lynn. "You wanted another chance to prove yourself and I'm giving you that chance."

"I won't let you down Lori." said Lynn as she nodded.

"That's all I need to hear. L-Crew suit up!" Lori said as she pressed a button on her watch and becomes Speed Queen.

"Alright let's organize into teams." Speed Queen ordered. "Lynn, take Prodigy, Armor and Surge. Basically the same team as last night."

"Sounds good." Parkour said.

"Luan, you take Genarocker, Wildgirl, and Greenthumb." Speed Queen ordered.

"Sounds ice!" Ms. Appear joked earning a groan from everyone except Petty who didn't get it.

"Luna, you take Petty, Tongri and Crystal Princess." Speed Queen continued.

"Sounds rocking." Amplifier said.

"As for me, I'll be taking Firecracker and Multiple Girl." Speed Queen finished. "These two should be more than enough."

"Sounds good." Firecracker said.

"Alright team. Let's go save the city!" Speed Queen said and the L-Crew cheered and ran off except for Black Ice.

"Are you ready to go down under Lucy?" Soothsayer asked.

"Sigh, might as well. I'm ready to go." Black Ice said.

"Alright." Soothsayer said. "I shall be back Mr. Cuddles and Clyde."

"We'll be waiting." Mr. Cuddles said before Soothsayer teleported away with Lucy. Once they're gone, Clyde turns to Mr. Cuddles.

"Want some cocoa?" He asked.

"Absolutely." Mr. Cuddles said.

Ms. Appear's team has reached the Royal Woods mall, and sees two ice golems are attacking some cars and citizens are running away in fear. "Holy crap, they look like the ice monsters from Thor!" Genarocker said.

"We need to keep this fight away from the people." Ms. Appear said.

"Way ahead of you!" Wildgirl shouted as she turned into Mammoth and rams towards one of the ice giants.

"Wildgirl is gonna be limited in this fight." Ms. Appear told Genarocker. "She only has so many animals that can handle the cold."

An ice giant knocks Wildgirl down, but Genarocker punches the ice giant with her giant mechanical fists. "Allow me to break the ice!" Genarocker shouted as she hits the ice giant with a double axe handle with her mechanical fists.

"I approve of the pun!" Ms. Appear shouted as she slices a golem's leg causing it to fall. "These guys aren't as tough as they look." She hears more sounds from behind her and she turns to see three more ice golems. "Spoke to soon." A vine wraps around one golem and slams it around. "Nice Greenthumb."

"Poo poo." Greenthumb babbled. Wildgirl still as a mammoth charged the golem and rams it with her tusks allowing Genarocker to leap off her back with mechanical feet.

Genarocker crushes the Ice Golem with her mechanical foot. Then turns her arm into a cannon and shoots a chunk of the Ice Golem's corpse into another ice golem knocking it down as Ms. Appear smashed the head with her forcefield hammer.

Wildgirl takes down the final ice golem, but it punches Wildgirl in the face, as it gets back up and forms an ice club in it's hands. "They can form weapons!" Genarocker exclaimed.

"Um you can too." Wildgirl reminds her.

"Oh right." Genarocker said as she forms her sword as Wildgirl goes polar bear.

"Let's take them down." Ms. Appear ordered before the four charge towards the golems.

At Royal Woods High School Amplifier and her team multiple snowmen warriors. Amplifier blasted two with electricity before kicking one that was sneaking up on her.

Crystal Princess is shooting crystals at the snowmen, then she forms crystal swords in her hands and starts slicing the snowmen, as Petty is smashing the snowmen to pieces with his fists. Tongri lunges towards a snowman and knocks it's head off. "I never thought we would be fighting against killer snowmen." Amplifier said as she fired electric blasts at two snowmen.

"It ain't so bad." Crystal Princess said. "At least they aren't reforming."

But then the snowmen that we're knocked down or lost their limbs begin to reform back on. Amplifier glared at Crystal Princess as she gives a sheepish smile. "Well now they can reform their lost limbs." Crystal Princess chuckled nervously.

"You're lucky, you're my sisters Crystal Princess." said Amplifier as she performed a roundhouse kick on one of the snowmen.

Outside Lynn's table several ice monsters were trying break in as Lynn Sr. cowered inside.

"Stay back you monsters!" He shouted. Several fireballs come flying in destroying several of the monsters. The monsters turn to Speed Queen, Multiple Girl and Firecracker.

"You punks could've attacked any restaurant and you chose this one." Speed Queen said as she cracked her knuckles. "You just made it personal."

Speed Queen ran towards the ice monsters and circles around them and then gives a Bicycle kick to one of the ice monsters. While Firecracker throws some fireballs at the ice monsters.

Multiple Girl and her clones are avoiding some of the ice monsters' attacks. "How do we like fight these monsters?" One clone asked.

"Simple." Multiple Girl said before pulling out several pickaxes. "With these."

"OMGosh you're so smart." One clone said.

"Let's get em!" Multiple Girl shouted to her clones who are holding pickaxes and they charged towards the ice monsters. One clone hits an ice monster in the leg, as the original Multiple Girl hits another ice monster with a pick axe to the head.

"Are they really using pickaxes?" Firecracker asked.

"It seems so." Speed Queen replied.

"I guess this is better then giving her a flamethrower." Firecracker said.

"Let's not give her ideas, Firecracker." Speed Queen replied. "Now let's get back to fighting these monsters."

In the park, it was a battlefield as Parkour and her team battled it out with ice monsters and snowmen. Parkour punched one snowman in the head before kicking another one. Armor smashed two ice monsters together before uppercutting a snowman. Surge blasted them from the sky destroying several of the ice monsters and blasting a snowman to smithereens. Another ice monster tried to fire ice blasts at Surge but is lifted up and smashed down by Prodigy.

"These guys keep on coming!" Surge shouted as more ice monsters and snowmen came running into the park from all sides.

"You're telling me!" Parkour said as she punched an ice monster shattering it into pieces.

"Soothsayer and Black Ice, better hurry up and find Jack Frost!" Surge shouted as she fired an energy beam at a squad of snowmen.

"There's more coming!" Armor shouted as smashed a ice monster.

"Then we must keep fighting!" Prodigy said before sending six snowmen flying.

"Then let's do this!" Parkour ordered.

Soothsayer and Black Ice have arrived in Australia in a town alleyway. "Here we are Lucy Australia." Soothsayer said.

"It's a little hot." Black Ice said.

"Indeed." Soothsayer said sadly. "I hope this doesn't cause another terrible fire."

"Sigh. I know." Black Ice sighed. "Lana wouldn't stop crying over the thought of all those animals dying."

"We should be glad that the fire is out and pray that another fire doesn't start." Soothsayer said. "Now let's find Frost."

"What about that castle made of ice over there?" Black Ice suggested. Soothsayer turns and sees a massive castle made of ice.

"Well that's a start." Soothsayer said as he and Black Ice walked over to the giant ice castle. Once they reached the ice castle, Black Ice inspects the castles as she reached the door.

"How is the ice not melting from the heat?" Black Ice asked.

"Perhaps Jack would tell us." Soothsayer said as he knocked on the door.

"Go away!" Someone shouted from inside with a thick Australian accent. "I ain't interested in anything you're selling!"

"Um, are you sure this is the right place?" Black Ice asked.

"Not sure." Soothsayer replied before knocking again. "We're looking for Jack Frost!"

"Who's asking?" The voice responded.

"An old friend." Soothsayer replied. The door opens and the two see a tall pale skinned man with icy white hair with blue highlights. He was currently wearing a bathrobe and slippers. He sees Soothsayer and his eyes widen.

"Soothsayer?" The man said. "Is that you mate?"

"It is I old friend." Soothsayer said. "We have an emergency. Let us in and we can explain."

"Yeah sure thing mate." Jack said before looking at Black Ice. "Who's the sheila?"

"I'm Lucy." Black Ice said as she and Soothsayer entered the castle. Once they're inside, Black Ice looks around. "Did you make this place?"

"Yes, I did made this. Many years ago, it took me awhile to rebuild it after the wild fire." Jack said. "But let's not talk about that, no one wants to talk about that. So Soothsayer, what's new with you?"

"Recently freed from my staff and now working with my new friends to protect the world." Soothsayer said. "Which is why we're here."

"Pass." Jack said. "Not interested." He then grabs soda and pops it open before drinking it.

"What do you mean Jack?" Soothsayer asked.

"I know what you were going to ask and the answer is no." Jack said. "I'm not helping you. Sorry you wasted your time mate." He heads to a different room leaving the two alone.

"Soothsayer we really need his help." Black Ice said.

"I know." Soothsayer said. "We're not stopping yet. We'll convince him one way or another."

"We better hurry, Royal Woods is getting colder and colder by the minute." said Black Ice.

"I know Lucy." Soothsayer said. "Time is of the essence." They get up to go to the room that Jack went into but before they do they see newspaper articles on the wall. The two approach the wall and look at the paper.

"Bushfire rage through Australia." Black Ice read. "Bushfires continues to run wild. Many animals are now further endangered because of bushfires. These articles are all about the bushfires that happened recently."

"Why would Jack keep these articles?" Soothsayer questioned.

"As a reminder of my failure." The two turn to see Jack leaning against the wall. "When the fires started i couldn't stop it and hell did I try. Fire was too much even for my power. I did whatever I could to save as many critters as I could but even that wasn't enough."

"I see. You lost your confidence." Soothsayer said. "That is understandable. That fire was terrible but it was put out."

"No thanks to me mate." Jack said. "You wasted your time coming here. Sorry to disappoint you." He starts to walk away.

"So that's it then?" Black Ice growled. "You're just gonna walk away? Give up?" Jack stops walking. "Soothsayer told me all about this powerful ice God who's frozen lands and defeated armies. So a part of me was excited to meet you. But now all I see is a coward!" She forms an ice hammer and rushes towards him.

"Lucy no!" Soothsayer shouted. But Black Ice didn't listen. Instead she leaped up and swung her hammer at Jack who quickly turned around caught the hammer with his hand.

"I don't have time for this. I got better things to do." Jack said as he tossed the hammer with Black Ice to the side. "Get the hell out of my house!"

"Then you'll have to throw me out." Black Ice said. She forms a long ice blade and rushes at Jack. She swings the sword but he catches it with two fingers before pulling it out of Black Ice's hand.

"Is that you have sheila?" Jack asked.

"No. I'm just getting started!" Black Ice shouted as she surrounded by aura shaped like a raven. She thought of her family struggling to hold back the ice monsters and snowmen.

"Yes Lucy use that as your strength." A voice said.

"Raven?" Black Ice said.

"Yes." Raven said. "Don't give up Lucy. Use this new strength to strike your opponent!"

"Right." Black Ice said forming two ice gauntlets. "I won't let you win!" She rushes forward at full speed surprising the ice god. She jumps up goes to punch him in the cheek but Jack catches the fist inches away from his face. However he didn't react fast enough to catch the other fist as it collided with his cheek. Jack looks at her surprised before a small smile forms on his face.

"Let's go outside." Jack said. He releases Black Ice and leads her outside to a battlefield covered in ice. Once they're out there, Jack takes his robe off to reveal he was wearing sweatpants and no shirt. "You got a lucky hit on me. Can you do it again?"

"I can." Black Ice said. "But if I do, you gotta help us." Jack chuckles and nods.

"You got sheila." Jack said as he got into a fighting stance. "Remember, me catching your weapons doesn't count as hitting me."

"Right." Black Ice said as she gets ready. She was about to go all out with an ice god. No doubt the toughest fight she'll ever be in. She felt her aura surround her as she formed her ice blades.

Black Ice charged towards Jack Frost and swing her swords towards Jack, but he dodges the blades. "Was that your attack or were you just warming up?" Jack asked with smirk on his face.

"No that wasn't a warm up." Black Ice said with a deadpan tone in her voice.

"Well then that was disappointing." Jack said.

Black Ice charged again, but Jack dodges the attack. Black Ice swings her swords as Jack dodged the attacks. Jack then forms a wall around Black Ice trapping her in there, but she blasts a hole in the wall and jumps out of her prison.

"You can't trap me that easily." Black Ice said. Jack laughs and gets into a fighting stance.

"You're tougher than you look." Jack said. "But how much longer can you go. You haven't even come close to hitting me."

"Don't underestimate me!" Black Ice said. She fired her ice on the ground using her ice sled to move towards Jack Frost at a faster speed.

"Impressive." Jack said. He then rushes forward to meet her.

"Here goes." Black Ice said as she gets closer to Jack Frost.

"Oh dear." Soothsayer said.

Black Ice forms an ice blade and swings it at Jack but Frost was faster and avoids it before hitting Black Ice in the face that knocks her back on the ground. Soothsayer immediately runs her side and checks on her.

"That didn't feel right." Black Ice said.

"Stay down." Soothsayer said. "You can't beat him."

"No." Black Ice growled. "I know he's stronger than me. He's a damn God. But there's too much on the line at home so I need to hit him at least once." She hears footsteps and she looks up to see Jack approaching her.

"You got heart sheila." Jack said. "But i suggest you just walk away. You can't touch me."

"No, I'm not walking away. My family is fighting off monsters made out of snow and ice. I don't know how long they'll hold up against them or the cold temperature will kill them. But I'm not giving up!" Black Ice stated.

"Wrong answer Sheila." Jack said.

He aims his hand at her and prepares an ice blast. Black Ice looks at the hand and scowls.

"Remember Lucy, look for an opening and strike!" Raven said.

"I won't lose." Black Ice said before forming an ice gauntlet and hits Jack in the stomach though it didn't faze him much. Jack looked down at her surprised before a smile formed on his face.

"Is that all shelia?" Jack asked.

"Not at all." Black Ice replied.

"Actually the fight is over." Soothsayer said surprising everyone. "The deal was if Lucy could lay a hit on you Jack that you would help us and she did. Therefore, Lucy wins."

"Crikey I actually forgot about that." Jack said with a chuckle. "Well a deals a deal sheila. So what exactly is the problem?"

"Ok this meta human named Actinic has your staff and he's freezing all of Royal Woods. He even created monsters made out of snow and ice." Black Ice explained.

"So my staff is all the way in America? In the hands of some guy named after a bloody acid reflex medicine?" Jack asked.

"No he IS the acid reflex medicine." Black Ice said. "He has chemical powers and he apparently found your staff. Now Royal Woods is frozen and getting colder by the second. Worst part is my family and friends are trying to fight off the ice monsters and snowmen but it's gonna get harder if we don't get the staff away from Actinic."

"I see." Jack said thoughtfully before getting angry. "HE HAS MY STAFF?! Nobody uses my staff!" He storms inside with Soothsayer and Black Ice following him. "I lost that staff decades ago because I almost got hit by a plane and dropped. Looked all over for it but didn't find it. Now I found out some dingo finds and is using it for evil. Not on my watch!" He heads into another room.

"I think he's fired up." Soothsayer said causing Black Ice to facepalm.

"Leave the jokes to Luan." Black Ice said. Soon Jack exists the room now wearing a tan shirt and tan shorts but still not wearing shoes. On his head he wore a digger hat (AN: That's what an Australian hat is called.)

"Um Jack, what are you wearing?" Soothsayer asked.

"Oi, I didn't just adopt the accent mate. I adopted the whole Australian culture." Jack said. "Fashion included."

Now that you're dressed up. Let's get back to Royal Woods and get your staff back." said Black Ice.

"I'm with yeah little girl." Jack said.

"Get ready you two." Soothsayer said as he teleported himself, Black Ice and Jack Frost back to Royal Woods.

Back in the Royal Woods, the L-Crew were all gathered in a circle in the middle of the city surrounded by dozens of snowmen and ice monsters.

"So much for four teams." Speed Queen said as she kicked a snowman.

"Can't give up yet dudes." Amplifier said as she blasted an ice monster. "Black Ice will be back soon."

"She better! We're outnumbered!" Crystal Princess shouted as she shot crystal shards at the snowmen.

"It's no use, they just keep coming!" Ms. Appear exclaimed.

Then a beam of light shines on the ground with large icicle shards impaling the snowmen and killing some of the ice monsters. When the light clears, it shows Soothsayer, Black Ice and Jack Frost. Black Ice then forms an ice hammer in her hands and charges into battle.

"BRING ME ACTINIC!" Black Ice shouted.

"Not gonna lie sheila you beat me to the punch!" Jack said before running forward. He leaps up into the air and slams his fists down on the ground causing massive icicles to grow from the ground destroying multiple snowmen and ice monsters. Firecracker then starts laughing.

"Oh you guys are screwed now!" Firecracker laughed.

Black Ice jumps in the air and slams her ice hammer on a ice monster's head shattering it into pieces. "Glad yo see you back again Luc." Speed Queen said.

"It wasn't easy. Convincing him to come was a challenge." said Black Ice.

"I'll bet." Wildgirl said before going polar bear and slashing an ice soldier.

"So how did you convince him?" Surge asked as she blasted a snowman.

"I fought him." Black Ice said causing everyone including the snowmen and ice creatures to stop and look at her shocked.

"Huh!?" They all said in unison.

"You fought him?" Prodigy shouted before throwing an ice creature at a snowman.

"I did. I just needed to land one hit on him." Black Ice explained. "I punched him in the gut and here we are."

"And here i though Lynn and Lincoln were crazy." Speed Queen muttered. She turns to Jack who blasting through the ice monsters. "So you're the legendary Jack Frost."

"In person sheila." Jack said with a tip of his hat.

"Wasn't expecting you to be Australian." Genarocker said as she fired her cannon.

"You live in Australia for a few centuries you pick up a few things." Jack said with a shrug.

"Now that you're here, we need to grab your staff back." Speed Queen said. "We'll be able to reverse the effects right?"

"Of course sheila." Jack said. "Easily."

"We'll clear you a path." Speed Queen said.

"No need." Jack said. "I'll make my own."

Jack charged towards the snowmen and ice monsters and begins to slide towards them, he stomps the ground and some icicle shards impaled some of the snowmen and ice monsters.

"We should give him a hand." Surge said.

"No I think he's got it." Armor said. Jack keeps carving his way through the ice creatures and snowmen. He punches the ground blasting everything back. He creates several large icicles and launched them at the creatures impaling many of them.

"I can learn a lot from him." said Black Ice.

"I guess so Luc." Firecracker said. "I doubt there's a fire god to teach me new stuff."

"I'm gonna follow him." Black Ice said before running off with her ice blades slashing ice monsters as she did.

"Black Ice Wait!" Parkour shouted.

"Nevermind that sis! We got some monsters coming our way!" Amplifier shouted as she shot an electric blast at an ice monster.

"Dang it." Parkour groaned under her breath.

"Don't worry Black Ice will be fine!" Soothsayer assured her. "She's tougher than you giver her credit for." Suddenly Soothsayer's watch goes off in his pocket. He pulls it out and answers. "Hello?"

"Soothsayer!" Mr. Cuddles said from the other line. "Clyde and I need you back here now!"

"I'm on my way." Soothsayer said before teleporting away.

When he got back to base Soothsayer saw what Mr. Cuddles was freaking out about. The snowmen that Lincoln melted earlier regenerated and were attacking the base while Clyde and Mr. Cuddles fought back with blasters.

"Welcome back Soothsayer!" Clyde said as he blasted a snowman's head off.

"These are the snowmen that Lincoln melted." Soothsayer pointed out.

"Yeah, long story short. They came back to life." Mr. Cuddles replied.

"Then we must defend our base friends." Soothsayer said before swinging his staff at a snowman.

"Martha activate defense protocol alpha!" Mr. Cuddles ordered.

"Yes Mr. Cuddles.' Martha responded. Soon two sections of the floor open up and two automatic turrets appear from them and start blasting the snowmen. Everyone turns to Mr. Cuddles.

"I had some free time between projects." Mr. Cuddles said. Soon a snowman comes running towards them but is suddenly hit multiple times by multiple bullets. They turn around to see Ryker in a winter jacket with his revolvers raised.

"I come here to see what progress you made only to find you fighting snow fellers?" Ryker said. "What is wrong with this town?"

"This is more of a supernatural thing." Mr. Cuddles replied. "Someone has a staff that controls winter and such." Mr. Cuddles replied as he blew up a snowman's head off.

"And it belongs to Jack Frost!" Clyde replied.

"This time is weird." Ryker muttered as he shot another snowman. Suddenly a snowman fired a snowball at Mr. Cuddles's head knocking it off. The three look on in horror as they see the bear's head roll away from his body.

"They killed Mr. Cuddles!" Clyde shouted.

"Actually I'm fine." The three look down to see the head still talking. They then turn to see Mr. Cuddles's body moving around. "Well not necessarily fine but I'm alive."

"That's just disturbin." Ryker said.

"Yeah I think it's my old stitching." Mr. Cuddles said. "I'm an old bear. Now if only my body could find it's way over here!"

Mr. Cuddles' body is trying to find it's way back to his head while Clyde and Ryker and shooting down snowmen and ice monsters. "So where are the kids?" Ryker asked.

"They're solving the problem!" Clyde shouted.

"It's like the universe wants me trapped here!" Ryker shouted. Soothsayer grabs Mr. Cuddles's body and places his head back on.

"Thank you." Mr. Cuddles said. "Guess my stitching is a little old."

"Fear not my friend." Soothsayer said. He waves his staff over Mr. Cuddles who begins to glow. When the light dissipates he no longer looks beat up and dirty. In fact he looks brand new.

"Wow. I feel like the day I was made." Mr. Cuddles said.

"Enjoy your repair later. We still have to deal with the killer snowmen and ice monsters!" Clyde informs the teddy bear as he continue to shoot down the monsters.

"Oh right." Mr. Cuddles said as he picked up a blaster and shot down an ice monster.

"Damn it." Ryker said. "Running out of bullets." Mr. Cuddles runs to a box and slides two blaster pistols towards Ryker who grabs them. "These might work." He fires the blasters that destroy four ice monsters with ease. "Oh these will do nicely."

The three gunslingers stood their ground against the snowmen and ice monsters, as Soothsayer watched by on the side. "I hope they put an end to this madness." Soothsayer said.

"In case we don't make it. Tell our story about our final stand!" Mr. Cuddles exclaimed.

Jack Frost smashed a ice monster as he made his way towards Actinic with Black Ice not far behind.

"These things don't stop and they're slowing us down." Black Ice said as she smashed a snowman with her ice hammer.

"What powers do your mates have and which ones can clear a majority of these things the fastest?" Jack asked.

"My brother Firecracker has fire powers and can melt these guys for awhile, Surge can fire energy beams from her hands. My older sister Parkour has super strength." said Black Ice.

"Then call them up and have them clear a path." Jack said. "Normally I could do it myself but time's runnin out. Plus it's getting colder by the second and I don't know how much longer you mates can stay at normal body temperature."

"Right." Black Ice said before pressing a button on her watch. "Parkour, Firecracker and Surge, Jack needs you three to clear a full path to Actinic."

"Easy." The three say in unison.

The three heroes arrived on the scene and began to clear a path for Jack. Firecracker and Surge flew towards the snowmen and ice monsters and fired a fire steam and a energy at both hostages melting them to liquid. Then Parkour ripped a street out of the ground and starts whacking the ice monsters with it.

Jack and Black Ice followed the three heroes to the ice tower where Actinic is. "I have to admit your mates aren't as bad as I thought." Jack said.

"Thanks but you've only seen some of their power." Black Ice said before pressing her watch again. "Speed Queen, Ms. Appear. Hamster Ball!"

"On it!" The two say in unison. Jack looks at her confused until he sees Speed Queen in a forcefield with Ms. Appear floating above her running down snowmen and ice monsters.

"Twins we need some strength!" Black Ice shouted on her watch.

"We're on our way!" The twin superheroes replied.

Jack looked to his left and sees a wolly mammoth charging towards the snowmen and ice monsters with Crystal armor surrounding it, and on top of the mammoth was Crystal Princess. Wildgirl rams and stomps on the snowmen and snow monsters as Crystal Princess shoots Crystal shards at them.

"Amplifier send in the Petty and Tongri." Black Ice ordered.

"You got it sis!" Amplifier said. Jack looked around to see Amplifier standing on Petty's shoulders firing electricity at the ice monsters and snowmen as Petty smashed them with his bear hands into the ground while Tongri slashed the ones on his blindside.

A giant ice monster was about to attack Jack until a truck is thrown at the monster shattering it into pieces. Jack looked behind him and sees Prodigy. "I figured that you and Black Ice would need my assistance." Prodigy said.

"Starting to like you mates." Jack said. He hears a commotion and sees Genarocker on her hoverbike with her plow out plowing through the snowmen and ice monsters while Armor sat on the back punching anything that got close with Greenthumb on his head using her vines to force everything back. "You mates are fun." An ice monster tries to sneak up on Jack Frost but falls forward to reveal Multiple Girl with her pickaxe in it's back.

"That was fun." Multiple Girl said as more of her clones destroyed more ice monsters.

"I like you kids." Jack said before turning to Black Ice. "Let's go get my staff back sheila."

"You got it." said Black Ice. The two run towards the tower to confront Actinic.

On top of ths tower, Actinic watched everything unfold with a scowl on his face. The L-Crew were ruining everything but so far the creatures kept them at bay.

"Soon it'll be too late and Royal Woods will be frozen." Actinic said.

"Oy!" Actinic turned around and sees Jack Frost and Black Ice right behind him. "That staff belongs to me and I want it back!" Jack Shouted.

"And who are you?" Actinic asked.

"Frost. Jack Frost." Jack said. "That there is my staff mate and I suggest you hand it over."

"I cannot do that." Actinic replied. I need this staff for my research."

"Research? Why is he studying ice?" Black Ice asked.

"I want that staff back and I'm not taking no for an answer." Jack said.

"Then you will die." Actinic said before shooting chemicals at the two. Black Ice jumps out of the way while Jack freezes the chemicals.

"Give me my staff." Jack ordered. "Don't wanna hurt you to badly mate."

"I won't let you interfere in my work!" Actinic shouted.

"Guess what mate?" Jack said. "I am anyways." He then rushes forward.

"He's so cool." Black Ice said.

Jack charged to grab his staff from Actinic, but he dodged and elbows Jack in the face. Jack recovers from the attack and grabs the staff, but Actinic still has a grip on the Staff and the two are to trying to rip it out of one of their hands.

"That staff is not meant for a mere mortal." Jack Warned.

"What are you?" Actinic asked.

"Me? I'm just the God of Ice." Jack said before kicking Actinic which pushed him back and caused him to let go of the staff. Jack holds the staff in his hands with a smile. "Good to see you again mate. The years haven't been kind you have they? You didn't have my power to sustain you so let's fix that." He covers his staff with ice and when the ice shatters the staff is as good as new. "There you go. Good as new."

"No! Give it back!" Actinic shouted.

"No! You misused my staff and my power!" Jack shouted. "I'm gonna undo the mess that you made!"

"No!" Actinic shouted. However he feels sudden pain in his stomach. He looks back and sees Black Ice with two ice blades out with her back to him. "I didn't even see her move." He then collapses.

"Not bad Sheila." Jack commented. "I'm amazed you took him down."

"Don't mention it." Black Ice replied.

"Alright you head back down to the ground and keep them ice monsters and snowmen off of me." Jack ordered. "I'll take care of this."

"On it." Black Ice said jumping off the building onto a ice golem that she smacks with her hammer. Once she's gone Jack looks down at Actinic.

"Now why would he go through all this trouble in the first place?" Jack asked. He sees something sticking out through the snow. Curious he picks it and sees it's a picture of a little girl with a man that Jack could only assume was Actinic without the suit.

"G-give that back." Jack looked down and saw Actinic on his stomach with his hand out. "Please. Give that back."

"Who's the girl?" Jack asked.

"My daughter. Her name is April, she's all I have left after my wife died." Actinic explained. "She has a disease which doesn't have a cure yet. I'm doing everything I can to keep her alive."

(AN: IT'S NOT CORONA VIRUS!)

"The cold slows the virus?" Jack asked looking at the picture. "That's why did it. But mate, this isn't the way."

"I was desperate. I felt like I had no choice." Actinic said.

"But not this way mate." Jack said. "I don't think your daughter would want you to do all this."

"I tried to get a raised back at my old job, since her medical bills are too expensive. But they said no." Actinic said.

"Not an excuse mate." Jack said. "There are better ways. This isn't it." He hands him back his picture.

"I know." Actinic said.

"Don't worry mate." Jack said. "I'll find a way to let you continue your research in jail."

"Thank you." Actinic said before passing out.

Jack sighs as he turns around and twirls his Staff and slams it on the ground, causing the snow to be lifted up in the air and returns to the sky. "Now to get your to safety." Jack Said as he lifted Actinic's unconscious body.

The L-Crew are surrounded by the snowmen and ice monsters, Surge is shooting down an ice monster with energy beams until the ice monster looks at it's hand and sees that it's melting. The ice monster tries to grab Surge but it melts into a puddle. The rest of the snowmen and ice monsters were melting in front of the L-Crew's eyes.

"Did he do it?" Multiple Girl asked. Soon Jack lands on the ground in front of them with Actinic draped on his shoulder.

"It appears so." Prodigy said. "Jack Frost got rid of the snow and ice."

"And he managed to catch Actinic." Firecracker said.

"Nice work Jack." Speed Queen said.

"Don't mention it mates. I'm just glad to get me staff back." Jack said.

"Haggar should be here soon to pick him up." Speed Queen told him.

"His daughter is sick." Jack said. "Unknown sickness. He was working on finding a cure which is why he was stealing money for his research. Anyway you can talk to Haggar into transfer his research to prison so he can continue his research?"

"I'll see what I can do." Speed Queen promised. "Also could you come back with us to our base? We kinda want to talk about something."

"Sure thing sheila." Jack responded. "I'm actually getting kinda hungry anyways."

Back at the base, the Louds, Santaigos, Sam and Jack Frost are eating some pizza that Mr. Cuddles ordered. "So what do you want to talk about Shelia?" Jack asked as he bit his slice of pizza.

"Well we want to thank you again for reversing early winter." said Lori.

"Don't mention it." Jack said. "I almost didn't until your sister convinced me."

"Did she really fight you?" Lana asked.

"Well sheila she tried too." Jack said. "Got a couple shots in but that's it."

"It wasn't as easy as you thought." Lucy said.

"I have to admit she fights pretty good, for a little girl with ice powers." Jack said.

"Well she was trained by Kulo of the Eleven Masters." Soothsayer told him.

"Well it shows." Jack said. "But you're not gonna match me in power sheila."

"I know." Lucy said with a small smile. "I'm just happy I could lay two hits on you and that you didn't kill me."

"I probably could've killed you pretty easily if I'm being honest." Jack said.

"So are you really a God?" Ronnie Anne asked.

"I'm gonna be honest." Jack said. "I don't consider myself a God anymore. I may be one but I don't consider myself one. I don't feel like going into details but some things happened centuries ago and I'll leave it at that."

"If you say so dude. We won't ask about your past." Luna said.

"So what are you going to do now?" Lori asked.

"Well I got my staff back so this winter will be easier." Jack said. "I'm gonna head back to Australia. Gonna reconnect with my fellow Aussies."

"I do hope you'll come visit still." Lucy said.

"No worries sheila." Jack said. "I plan on it. I like you kids."

"Well in that case." Lori said pulling out a watch. "In case we ever need you or you need us."

"You got it Shelia." Jack said as he put on the watch on his left wrist.

"I shall take you back home." said Soothsayer as Jack Frost approached the wizard.

"I'm ready to go mate." Jack said. Soothsayer yapped his staff and teleported Jack and himself back to Australia.

"I already miss him." Lucy said.

"Well at least we got a pretty powerful ally now." Lincoln said.

"And we met a god. But seriously Luce, you seriously tried to fight him?" Lynn said.

"I wanted to knock some sense into him." Lucy said. "He was so strong."

"I believe it." Lori said. "Now there's something I want to talk to everyone about. As you know recently there's been a lot of stuff going. For starters almost every day we've been doing different groups to do patrols with either myself, Luna or Luan leading them. However that's becoming harder and harder to plan out because of our schedules. So Lynn gave me an idea and I discussed it with Luna and Luan and they agreed. So starting next week Leni, Lincoln and Lynn will start leading patrol teams."

"Wait you want us to lead patrol teams?" Lincoln asked.

"Of course. We think you guys can handle it." Lori said.

"Lori, I doubt Leni can even lead a squad." Lynn said.

"Hey, I can totes lead a team." Leni replied.

"Don't forget she took charge at her job a few times." Lori said. "I think it's time to give her a shot."

"I hope I don't let you down." Leni said.

"I think I'm more concern about Lynn. Due to her superstitions." Lola replied.

"Hey I haven't done any of those when I'm in hero mode." Lynn protested.

"She's not wrong." Lincoln said.

"Look just give it a shot." Lori said. "It'll be good in the long run."

"Alright we trust you Lori." Ronnie Anne said.

"Good." Lori said. They head to the training area and watch the sun start to go down. "This is gonna be fine. Everything will be good."

"Yeah." They all say in unison as they watched the sunset. However the moment was ruined when Lana sneezed and turned into a t-rex. Everyone looks at her surprised.

"That's not good." Luan said.

In the homeless district, a motorcycle pulls up in front of an abandoned supermarket. After the motorcycle is parked, two people get off. One rider was Xander and the other was his niece Helios.

"We're here luv." Xander said. "Ready?"

"Of course." Helios replied as the two walked into the old supermarket. They looked around and see the damage that the L-Crew and Cheat has caused during their fight. "Damn this place has seen better days."

"Looks like it. But it wasn't the damage the boss wanted." Xander said. The two walked over to a table and sees Cheat shuffling his cards.

"Sorry to say this. But we're closed." said Cheat. "We'll open again once we fix the place."

"We're not here for your assistance Cheat." Xander replied.

"I see." Cheat said as he stood up. "I suggest you think carefully before doing anything."

"Sorry buddy but the boss isn't happy that you didn't destroy the L-Crew so he sent us to show you what happens to people who don't obey him." Helios said.

"Well then." Cheat said. "It seems we've reached an impasse. I'm giving you one chance. Leave. Now."

"We're not going anywhere. You got to pay the price for failing Tetherby's orders." Xander said.

"Well my services are limited and you're wearying my time." Cheat said. "Now begone."

"Sorry mate. You're gonna have to make us." Xander said.

"Fine." Cheat said. He raised his hand and the cards on the table glow red and float up behind him. He thrusts his hand launching the cards forward hitting Xander in the chest sending him flying back.

"Uncle Xander!" Helios cried out.

"I suggest you leave right now or I'll force you out!" Cheat glared.

Helios glared back at Cheat and formed two yellow orbs in her hands. "No. You will face the power of the sun." Helios replied.

"Try it little girl." Cheat challenged. Helios threw the two yellow orbs that Cheat barely avoids. She throws a third one that Cheat counters with one of his cards.

Helios dodges the cards and shoot a yellow energy beam at Cheat, but Cheat jumps in the air and kicks Helios in the face. Helios recovered from the attack grabbed Cheat by the foot and throws him to the side, but Cheat bounced off the wall and punched her in the face.

He holds a card close to her face but before he can do anything a bullet flies by his head. He looks up and sees Xander with his rifle out.

"Step off her mate." Xander said. "Now."

"Get out of my store!" Cheat glared as he threw a card towards Xander, but he shoots the card causing a blast of Kinetic energy to explode from the card.

The explosion pushes both sides back. Xander and Cheat stare each other down. Cheat then reaches behind some shelves and pulls out two large cards. Once he gets them in his hand they glow red. Xander scowls and pulls out his machete. Helios gets back up and prepares her sun blades.

"Those cards ain't gonna save you." Xander said.

"We'll see about that." Cheat growled.

Helios charged towards Cheat and swings her blades at him but Cheat dodges the blades. Xander runs in and swings his knife to hit Cheat, but he dodged the knife swings. Cheat takes out a card and hits Helios with a kinetic blast.

However he turns around and is kneed in the stomach by Xander forcing him to his knees. Xander then grabs him and throws him out the window. Cheat lands with a groan. He wasn't expecting this fight to go this way. With the L-Crew he was able to prepare. This time he was taken by surprise. He starts to get up but gets knocked back down by a sun beam knocking him on his back. He tries to sit back up but Xander puts his foot on his chest.

"It's over mate." Xander said before Helios hands him his rifle where he aims at Cheat's head.

"Aw Crap." Cheat groaned.

"Any last words mate?" Xander asked as he's about to pull the trigger.

"None that I can say in front of your niece." Cheat said.

"Probably for the best mate." Xander said.

"So no last words?" Helios asked. "That sucks."

"A shame, Tetherby saw potential in you. But you were a waste of time and money." Xander said.

"And I assume you're worth every penny." Cheat said. "Does Tetherby know what you two are planning? I assume not."

"What the hell are you talking about?" Helios asked.

"Don't play dumb with me, you think you can keep your plans hidden from Tetherby?" Cheat asked. "He'll find out someday."

"And when he does, I'll deal with it." Xander told him. "But for now you die." He's about to pull the trigger when eight homeless people run into the parking lot of the grocery store and jump onto Xander surprising him and pushing him off of Cheat. While that was happening, two other homeless people helped Cheat to his feet and draped his arms over their shoulders.

"Thank you." Cheat said as they retreated.

"We're paying you back for everything you've done for us." One of the men said. "You won this whole area to help and protect us so we're returning the favor."

"You could have gotten yourselves." Cheat said.

"We couldn't let you die. If died we would be homeless." Another homeless man said.

"Or more homeless than we already are." The first one said.

"What about the others?" Cheat asked.

"Don't worry they'll be ok." The other one said.

"Besides those guys want you dead. Not us." The first one said. "We're going to get you somewhere safe."

Once Cheat was gone the homeless scattered leaving Xander furious.

"Damn it! He got away!" Xander roared.

"We could go after him." Helios suggested.

"No. Cheat won't be causing us any trouble any time soon." Xander said. "For now we gotta help Stuart with his big plan. Now let's go."

Inside the Government facility Colonel Mavor is drinking his coffee as he walks into the observation room. "What's the status on our new residents?" Mavor asked as he drank from his mug.

"We didn't get any footage today sir." A scientist replied.

"Why is that?" Mavor asked.

"Our drones were hit by an unexcepted blizzard." A scientist stated.

"That's impossible, it's too early for winter." Mavor said.

"That's what confused us sir." Another scientist said. "It made no sense."

"Sir Mirage is reporting in." A man said.

"Put her through." Mavor ordered. The main screen then shows a woman wearing a black full body suit with a cloak. She had long purple hair and black eyes as well as pale skin. "Report."

"I've been keeping a low profile in Royal Woods. But the L-Crew were fighting against ice monsters and snowmen." Mirage replied. "No I am not making this it up."

"That does sound ridiculous. Do have anything else to report?" Mavor asked.

"There was another man on the scene." Mirage continued. "Not long after he arrived the ice and snow disappeared. He seems to be very powerful. We can't waste much more time."

"Agreed. We need to speed up setup for the Louds." Mavor said. "Warfare get in here." Soon a tall muscular man with a cybernetic eye wearing a tank top, camouflage pants and combat boots and a chain tatoo comes up.

"You rang sir." Warfare said.

"Help Vaccine finish setup." Mavor ordered. "Once finished let me know because I plan on sending you and Vaccine down to Royal Woods to collect the Louds. But for now help finish setup."

"Yes sir." said Warfare as he walked away.

"Mirage keep an eye on the Louds and keep me inform." Mavor said.

"Yes sir." Mirage replied as she hung up.

"Just you wait Louds. Once you're here, our project shall begin." Mavor said as he drink his coffee.

Smoke: Hey guys Smoke here. I hope you guys enjoyed the chapter. But before I sign off, zachlor16 and I have noticed a guest reviewer telling us, "you haven't updated in a week. Is everything alright?" "You haven't updated this week." All the stuff. Look guys, a story like ours take time to write. Plus we have the Coronavirus pandemic going on. We have lives outside of this site, we have family, friends, hobbies and all that stuff. It's not all about you for crying out loud. Why don't you think about other people other than yourself. Zachlor16: Hey guys. So here's what's going on. The next chapter is gonna be a filler chapter that's more comedy than anything. Anyways so chapter 100 is gonna be unique for this because it's gonna start at chapter 99. So it's gonna be a two parter. Now does this make chapter 100 any less special? No if course not. Also again we ask to not make any requests till after 100 mainly because we do want to be distracted from the other chapters we have planned up to 100. So hope everyone is doing good and we'll see you for chapter 97.
