Chapter 36 - The Twin Sickles - Completed Weapon

Axel was deep in thought as he gazed at the sickle in his hands.

"It may not be the best idea, but it is still good enough for me to think about it."

He had heard of sickles being used as weapons before and was curious about their effectiveness. T

"Do longer sickles exist?"

The man laughed a little and then started to talk.

"You may want to look for "Kama" weapons. "It fits what you want."

"But, if you want, there are ordinary sickles with more length."

"Usually, sickles have fifteen to twenty centimeters in length." "Finding one reaching 50 to 60 cm should not be that hard."

Axel took a deep breath and then nodded.

"It is decided then."

"I will be using double sickles as a weapon."

Axel smiled and then looked at the man as he asked.

"Can you forge or find a custom-made pair of sickles for me?" "I will be paying you more than two million for each sickle."

The man was about to lose his small tongue after hearing Axel's words. He was surprised to learn that he would be paid two million jennies for two sickles that this man wishes he had.

It is a good deal from wherever he looks.

"Of course, please do tell me what kind of sickle you want."

Axel then told the man about his preferences.

One hour later, as Axel sat on the chair just outside of the shop, drinking coffee given to him by the owner of the shop, The man comes to himself.

He was carrying a brown, ancient-looking box.

"Here, take a look."

As Axel opened the box, his eyes started to change.

"This is it," he said as he looked at the two sickles inside the chest.
