Chapter 35 - Weapons, Hammer, Wrenches, Firearms

After some talk, Axel leaves the bar and goes to his home.

Axel walked down the busy street, his mind consumed by thoughts of weapons. "I need to choose the right one for me," he muttered to himself. "Something that's easy to carry but also versatile."

He stopped at a weapons store and peered through the window, admiring the various firearms on display. "Firearms aren't my thing," he reasoned, and aren't appropriate for a nen user like me without the assistance of special abilities.

As he continued his walk, Axel began to weigh the pros and cons of each weapon in his head. "A knife could be concealable, but it's for close quarters only." It would not be much different than using my own hands. "A bat could be effective, but I'm not living in a zombie-infested world."

He let out a sigh, feeling overwhelmed by the options. "I need to do more research, talk to experts, and maybe even try a few out for myself," he concluded. "I want to make sure I find the perfect weapon for my needs."

As Axel continued his walk down the busy street, he couldn't shake the thought of finding the perfect weapon for himself. His mind kept going back to cold weapons, as he preferred not to carry firearms.

He thought about a sword, imagining how it would look strapped to his back. "Yeah, but I already decided not to use a sword as it has already served too many masters," he concluded.

He then thought about a machete, which would be more discreet but no different from a sword at all.

Axel's thoughts then turned to martial arts weapons like nunchucks or throwing stars. He considered taking up a martial art but quickly dismissed the idea. "I need something I can use right now without spending months training," he thought. After all, I do not want to be a ninja. I am in Hunter x Hunter, not Naruto.

As he walked, he passed a store selling walking sticks, and an idea suddenly struck him. "A sturdy walking stick could serve as a weapon in a pinch," he thought. "And it's something that wouldn't draw any suspicion."

"A stick is not a bad idea, but not nearly strong enough or reliable enough for me."

Axel didn't think a walking stick would suffice.

As Axel walked down the street, his mind kept wandering to the idea of using unconventional tools as weapons. He had always been fascinated by the idea of turning everyday objects into deadly weapons.

He thought about a wrench, imagining the damage it could cause if swung with enough force. "But a wrench is too heavy and slow to use effectively," he concluded.

He then thought about a hammer, which could be a good choice if he needed to break through something. But again, he realized it would be too bulky and heavy to carry around with him all the time.

Axel's thoughts then turned to more everyday items like a pen or a key. "I could easily carry a pen or a key with me, but would they be effective in a self-defense situation?" he wondered.

At that time, Axel stopped and noticed a shop for farmers; there was a "Sickle" in the store that looked great.
