Chapter 5

Later that day, Loki and Theo head to a room Loki had picked out for Theo to stay in.

Theo goes to sleep and Loki wakes him up early to show him around as Theo was excited. To see Asgard.

"First we are going to the library you're going to love it it's huge it has every book you could possibly want"

"Well I'll hold you to that, let's go" theo said.

Loki and Theo head to the Library. When they get to the library, Theo is amazed by all the books and how big the library was.

"Do you have Jane Austen" theo asked.

"Yes probably, I'll find some" loki said

Loki then used his magic to find Jane Austen books and put them in a pile for Theo.

"That's amazing" theo told loki.

"Why don't you take some, so you don't have to come all the way over here to get some more"

Theo smiled at Loki and said "Ok yeah sure"

Theo starts picking up books a little later, they head back to Theos room, Loki could tell Theo leg was hurting a lot.

"You ok" loki asked.

"I'm fine" theo told him.

"Your leg seems bad, I wish I could have made it better for you" loki told theo.

"It's fine don't worry about it, it's not your fault it's my fault I'm injured anyway and I'm used to it it's apart of me know" theo told loki.

"It's not your fault the police shouldn't have done that to you." Loki told theo.

They go back into the room and Loki opens the door with magic, all of a sudden Theo's bad leg gives way. Lucky Loki managed to catch him dropping the books in the process.

"Theo, are you ok" loki asked worriedly.

"I'm all right," said Theo, barely above a whisper.

But Loki can tell Theo in more pain than he's letting on, Loki helped him to a chair.

Theo sits down Loki goes to get Theo's cane from where he had dropped it and places it beside the chair for him, Loki then picks up the books.

"I'm sorry, did the books get damaged" theo asked.

"Theo I don't care about the books you're more important than some books, I like to read, but your health is more important" loki told him.

Loki puts the books on the table in the corner of the room and sits on a chair next to Theo

"You care about me that much" Theo said, his voice filling with surprise

"The majority of people are more important than books" loki said.

Loki and Theo then overheard Thor yelling in the hallway.

"Do you think Thor is ok? that's a lot of shouting" theo asked.

"Yes, he's fine, I don't even think he can speak normally, he's always screaming and shouting. If it was bad, he would come to me for help also I would be more likely to be worried if he was quiet" loki told theo.

"Oh right, does he come to you for help a lot then?" theo asked.

"Yes, but hopefully not for several days, then I can show you more of Asgard"

Loki stays with Theo reading side by side for a while.

The following day, Loki takes Théo for a walk around Asgard, and takes him to a balcony where they can see most of Asgard.

"It's wonderful here"

"I know this is the best view of Asgard, thought you would like it," Loki said smiling at Theo

Loki and Theo started on their way to the dining hall to get something to eat when they entered, all eyes in the room turned to look at them

Loki and Theo ignored everyone and went to eat food

"Pathetic and cripple" was heard being whispered

"Don't call him that, you can't talk about him like that" Loki screams with out even thinking about it .

"Who's going to believe you if you tell anyone everyone knows you are a liar no one will believe you over all of us," one of the Asgardians tells Loki

Theo turns to look at Loki.

"Loki leave it, it's fine, it doesn't matter" Theo tells him.

"They can't talk about you like that" Loki told theo.

"I'm used to it, it's fine" Theo says

"Well you shouldn't be" Loki says

"It's fine it doesn't bother me" Theo says

Loki and Theo grab food and head back to Theo's room to eat and read books, this goes on for days, they spent most of the time reading and looking around Asgard.

A few months later Theo and Loki get informed by Odin there was a new mission that will take them back to London and the mission happens to be similar to how they met trying to stop a group of murders by someone with magic powers.

"You are allowed to use your magic for this mission as you're going to need your powers to defeat this person" Odin says

"Yes father" loki says

"Heimdal is waiting for you, I want this dealt with quickly and swiftly, no delays" Odin told loki.

"Yes father" Loki says

"It will also give a chance for your associate to prove their worth" odin told loki.

"Yes father" Loki says before quickly leaving the room, Theo follows behind him.

When Loki and Theo arrive in London it does not take long for them to find the murderer and Loki and Theo have to race through London Trying to stop the murderer suddenly Theo's bad leg suddenly gave way, Loki noticed and ran over to him.

"Are you ok can you stand?" Loki asked

"I'm ok" Theo says.

Theo attempts to stand but his bad leg gave way, Loki caught him and put Theo's arm around his shoulders and put his other arm around Theo's waist.

"We need to get out of here you can't fight for a minute,, please let me help you" Loki says

"Ok," Theo says knowing he didn't have any other choice they get out of there and Loki gets Theo to a place to rest and goes out to stop the murderer when Theo was asleep and comes back The next morning after defeating the murderer when Loki gets back Theo is awake and looking for Loki.

"Where have you been? You could Have been killed going after the person on your own" Theo says angrily.

"Theo you couldn't walk I couldn't take you out there I don't want you getting hurt," Loki says

"and I don't want you getting hurt either" Theo shouts.

"You care About me that much?" Loki says surprised

"Why would You think I don't?" Theo asks

"Well I've never really had any friends, so I didn't expect you to like me that much I know you said you did but you could've been lying like amora" Loki says

"Well I do, and I don't want you getting hurt I also don't want you thinking I'm weak I can look after myself you know that, I have ever since I got injured" theo says

"I know, but you couldn't walk you can't be fighting when you can't walk how are you going to protect yourself" Loki says

"I get it I do, but you know The murder only targets at night we could've waited together and then could've gone together then I know you're safe it's unlikely he would've struck tonight knowing we're here and about" Theo says

"I know I'm sorry I just didn't want you getting hurt, and I wanted it finished, so we can go home" Loki looked at Theo his eyes filled with sadness.

"Do you forgive me" Loki asks.

"Of Course I do just in future wait for me or at least tell me where you're going I didn't know where you were I was worried sorry I overreacted" Theo says

"It's fine you don't have to apologize" Loki says, Theo smiled at him.

"Let's go home" Theo said limping towards the door.

"Are you sure you're OK" Loki asks

"I'm sure" Theo says

Halfway to the fairy ring, Theo stopped.

"I need a minute" Theo stopped and lent up

against a tree, stretching out his bad leg with a wince. "Sorry, I don't move so fast."

"You don't have to apologize you never have to apologize for being injured, you can't help it. When we return, I think you should rest your leg, it appears that it bothers you a lot, and you will want to help if another mission comes up" Loki says.

"Yes, I need to keep an eye on you to make sure you don't get yourself killed" Theo jokes then straightens with a wince.

"Hey I can look after myself fine I have protected myself for years and my brother and his friends I don't need people helping me" Loki says

"Sure" Theo said, tapping Loki on the arm then limping past.

Theo and Loki then called Heimdal and returned home.
