Loki the Halloween Hater

On October 31st, 2009, Loki woke up refreshed having dreamed about playing with Stefanie and introducing her to Sarah. Stretching, Loki opened the door and walked out, then he checked the house with his Nen.

Nobody was in the house, then he senses that Damon and Stefan were with a girl in the woods. Walking out of the house to the woods where he sensed Damon and Stefan, he sees Vicki trying to drink animal blood. "Animal blood, interesting," said Loki alerting all three of them.

"Who is that?" Vicki asked licking up the animal blood.

Damon grew irritated, and Stefan grew apprehensive, "That is Loki, and he is a witch," growled out Damon annoyed.

"You forgot, the Immortal part Damon," stated Loki condescendingly making Damon angrier.

Vicki was amazed, "Wait, so you are not a vampire but an immortal witch, how is that possible?"

Loki smiled, "I guess you could say, I am built different," this made Damon and Stefan flinch a little.

Elena arrives and sees Loki, "Loki, where have you been? It has been over a month since you came to school, where did you go?" asked Elena rummaging in her bag. Taking out the packet of homework, she handed it to Loki who accepted it.

"You know, I had to visit my family, they were having a very important thing I had to attend," Loki lied which Elena picked up.

"Alright, just don't miss too much school, you might get expelled," scolded Elena. Loki nodded in acceptance, "Oh, right, don't mind, Vicki eating animals, it is an um, a mental illness."

"UGH, Elena, he knows," stated Damon a bit annoyed Loki wouldn't just tell her.

Elena looked at Loki a bit betrayed, "You know? How long have you known?"

Loki looked at her straight in the eyes, "I have known about vampires for a long time Elena because I am a witch," stated Loki honestly.

"What!? You're a witch like Bonnie?" said Elena perplexed.

Loki thought about it, "Well, I guess you can say that, but I am Immortal also," agreed Loki.

Elena looked confused, "Wait, how are you immortal? I thought only vampires were immortal."

"I am just built different," stated Loki.

Elena didn't know how to respond after that, "So, when were you gonna tell me that you were a witch, I mean, an Immortal Witch," said Elena looking betrayed.

"To be quite honest with you Elena, you never asked, I would have straight up told you, I don't have anything to hide," assured Loki looking straight into her eyes which made her relieved.

Elena kept staring into Loki's blue eyes, "Um, Elena?" asked Stefan getting a bit annoyed.

Snapping out of it, Elena coughed and turned to Stefan, "Well, how is it going with Vicki?"

Stefan smiled, "It is going good, I know I am gonna get through to her."

"Um, this therapy is so bothersome, in my most honest opinion, Vicki needs human blood, instead of that cheap downgrade, anyways, I'm out," said Damon walking away.

Stefan, Elena, Vicki, and Loki all walk into the Salvatore House and Stefan gives Vicki a cup of coffee. Leaving for a bit, Vicki takes out her phone but realizes she left it at home. "Elena, can you give me your phone, I need to talk to Jeremy," demanded Vicki.

"No, until you fix your problem, you are never gonna go anywhere with my brother," stated Elena fervently.

Getting pissed, Vicki pushes Elena against the wall, "Let me see Jeremy, or else, I will kill you," threatened Vicki seriously.

"Let her go," commanded Loki coldly.

Vicki turned her head to face Loki, "Oh, and what are you gonna do about it, pretty boy?"

Before Vicki could say anything, Loki chanted: Ventilabis, Vicki felt an unknown force throw her through the window outside. "Woah, what hell is happening?"

"Vicki tried to threaten me after I said she couldn't see my brother," said Elena rubbing her neck.

"She'll calm down, eventually," Stefan assured. "Now I have to go get her." Stefan super speeds off to find Vicki.

Vicki arrives home to find Matt on the couch, "Where the hell were you?" inquired Matt relieved that his sister was now home.

"It's none of your business, now can we stop playing 21 questions, I am feeling a bit tired," replied Vicki walking to her room and shutting the door, popping her head back out, she adds, "Also if Stefan comes knocking, don't let him in."

"What?" said Matt confused. Then someone knocked on the door, "Who is it?"

Stefan answers, "It's Stefan," knocking two more times, "Can I come in? I need to talk to Vicki."

Matt considers what Vicki asked and answers, "No, she doesn't want to see you."

Stefan sighs and super speeds away. Elena went home after talking to Loki a bit, seeing Jeremy come out of the bathroom, "Jeremy, come here, I need to talk to you," claimed Elena.

Jeremy sat next to Elena on the couch, "What do you want sis?"

"Come with me to the Halloween Party, and also, you need to let go of Vicki, she is a bad influence on you," Elena advised.

Jeremy was a bit mad but he checked his phone to see a text from Vicki saying he should attend the Halloween Party. "Sure, I'll go to the stupid party," said Jeremy getting up and putting on his shoes.

At the party, Elena meets up with Matt. "So, Matt, is Vicki with you?"

"Yeah, she was just here, where did she go?" questioned Matt looking around.

Elena then also noticed that Jeremy was gone, "Oh crap," said Elena.

Matt and Elena end up finding Stefan with Vicki, "Matt, thank god, Stefan won't leave me alone," stated Vicki running off. Matt blocks Stefan's way.

"Look man, I am just trying to help her," assured Stefan.

Matt was about to say something but sees that Vicki is gone as well as Elena. "We'll talk after we find Vicki," stated Matt as they both try to find Vicki.

Vicki found Jeremy and they share a very very passionate kiss. "Oh God, how I missed you Jeremy," giggled Vicki.

"Come on, give me the stupid necklace Bonnie," demanded Damon trying to grab the necklace to find that it burned him when he made contact with it. "What the hell?"

Using some of the magic she learned, she chants: Capitis, giving Damon a huge headache and allowing her to escape. Later she learned from Grams that the necklace was from an ancestor of theirs, Emily Bennett.

Finding Jeremy with Vicki outside of the party, just as Vicki was about to lose control, Elena pushes Jeremy off her. This made her a bit annoyed so she bit Elena's shoulder making her cry out in pain, Stefan hears this and super speeds to the noise.

Reaching Elena, Stefan has no choice but to take out a stake and kill Vicki by stabbing her heart with the stake. Jeremy was so shocked he fell unconscious, Stefan laid Vicki's body on the ground. Damon arrives and was shocked a little until Elena slapped him, "It was all your fault!"

Damon who couldn't say anything grabbed Vicki's body and went somewhere to hide the body. Stefan puts a hand on Elena's shoulder, "I will take Jeremy back home," assured Stefan picking up Jeremy and super speeds to Elena's front porch.

Elena walks to the car and meets with Matt, "Where is my sister, have you seen her?" fretted Matt looking around.

"I didn't see Vicki, but you know, you are a really good brother, I'm sorry but I have to leave," said Elena slowly approaching her car. Getting in the car, she begins breaking down, after letting out her emotions, she drives back home.

Arriving home to see Jeremy crying on the floor while Stefan watches not knowing what to do, Elena rushes to Jeremy and hugs him, "Stefan, can you compel him to forget," pleaded Elena looking up at Stefan.

Stefan sighs, "I don't drink human blood so I am currently too weak to compel anyone," stated Stefan looking down.

Damon then pops up and smiles, "I can compel him," claimed Damon. Having no choice, Elena lets Damon compel Jeremy that Vicki is not dead but out of town. After the compulsion, Jeremy went into his room and fell asleep. Walking out of the house, Damon super speeds away.

Where the hell was Loki you might ask, well let's go to a flashback. (Flashback) Stefan super speeds away and Elena sat on the couch with Loki. "Loki, would you like to go to a Halloween Party?" asked Elena rubbing her shoulders.

Loki looked at her, "I'm sorry but Halloween reminds me of someone," claimed Loki.

Elena was curious so she asked, "What do you mean, could you tell me?"

Looking into Elena's eyes, Loki told Elena, "My mom died on October 31st, she was extremely sick and were very poor so we couldn't afford medicine, and she passed away, this was when I didn't know I was a witch."

What happened, was in Loki's first life, his mom was sick, and Loki as a kid wanted her to get better so he gave her some of the candy he got while out Trick-Or-Treating but little did he know, the snickers bar was laced with Cyanide.

So quickly after feeding his mom, Loki watched as she died, and from that day on, Loki realized that life can end so quickly so why bother trying anything, that is why he became so lazy. His father also neglected him after learning he was the reason his wife died.

"It's okay, you don't have to come if you don't want to," affirmed Elena holding Loki's hand for comfort. "I know what it is like to lose a parent, I lost both of my parents on the same day."

Loki rubbed Elena's hand and they were like that for a good 3 minutes, "Anyways, I have to get going to the party, hopefully, you can join us next time there is another party," smiled Elena.

"Yeah, hopefully, I can," smiled Loki.

(Flashback ends)

Stefan and Elena sat on the bench on the front porch, "You know, I really want to forget you were ever a vampire or even knowing this world ever existed," claimed Elena. "In my heart, I want to make Damon compel me to forget everything but I'll probably forget I loved you."

Stefan didn't know what to answer, Elena looking up at the moon leaves the porch, and walks inside to her room. Stefan just super speeds off having mixed feelings on everything...
