As soon as Bruce Banner had reached home. He had sighed. The bird on his shoulder had turned back into a boy and proceeded to faint. He transformed back into a human from his Hulk transformation.
In great worry, he had opened the medical room and placed the boy on the operating table to get a better look at him.
"Loki." He had yelled out.
"I am here. No need to yell." Loki had said as he pushed Banner out of the way. He placed both of his hands on the boy's chest and began to run a few diagnostics jutsu.
Banner was standing behind him with a worried look in his eyes. His feet tapped on the ground as he waited for Loki to make his verdict.
Loki took his hands off the boy and turned to Banner. "No worries. The boy is just malnourished. I would recommend a liquid diet just to be on the safe side."
Banner nodded as he stepped forward and used the equipment in the lab to run a few more tests. All to make sure that they had covered all of their bases.
Soon, both Loki and Banner were done, and they had hooked the boy to an IV drip.
"So, What's the boy's name?" Loki finally asked.
"Garfield," Banner replied.
"Any parents or relatives?" Loki asked.
"None living except me or one cousin. She won't be able to protect him." Banner replied.
"I see." Loki looked at Banner, staying worriedly at Garfield's bedside.
For the moment, Loki decided not to tease him. But plans were already forming inside his mind. He could see that Betty cared a great deal about Banner. They had been doing stuff teenagers were supposed to do. Not the more open ones. Both of them were incredibly dense. Blushing while holding hands and the like. Maybe he could use this to get them to tie the knot.
'Decisions, Decisions.' Loki wondered. He would need Ace's help to carry out his plan. But it was possible and after the boy had recovered. He could work on getting a fake identity for him as well. He could take them both to school as well. He was sure that their teacher would be strong enough to protect them.
Ace could also use a little brother figure. And the ability to turn into any animal. The amount of pranks he could teach the kid. He could finally be a cool uncle who can corrupt his nephew. Bringing him to the dark side of pranks.
Not like Kakashi. He at least did not read smut in public.
And, well, Thor was a little childish. Loki could not see Thor settling down with anyone for the moment.
Loki nodded to himself. Tomorrow was a Saturday, so Ace would have no school.
They can execute their dastardly plan then.
Loki skipped to his room in preparation for his plan.
--------------------------------------------
(Next Day)
"So Ace, you got the plan," Loki asked his daughter.
She nodded. "Yes, I just got the decorations. So I just need to rip this seal, right."
Loki nodded. "And remember. We need to cause a great deal of chaos."
Ace eagerly nodded. "So, when will I get a mom."
Loki almost tripped when he heard that. Fortunately, he managed to correct his posture.
"Who knows? Now, let's hurry." Loki delayed that line of questioning by hurrying Ace up.
Ace did not continue asking her father about a mother anymore. But she did decide to set her father up with her teacher. Maybe some other women she meets as well.
This quest will go a long way in getting a mother.
Inside her head, Ace was gleefully rubbing her hands. She was already thinking about offering her services to Uncle Banner and Aunt Betty as a form of prank. Ace nodded to herself. She would have to look innocent. Then, when the time came, she could ask for help from Uncle Banner and Aunt Betty for a revenge prank.
The first target would be her teacher. Then, she would ask for a little brother or sister.
Loki shivered. He also felt pride for some reason.
But for now, Loki was focused on his current prank.

(Betty POV)
Betty was experimenting on a few things for the moment. She was a biologist and was currently working on a way to make crops that grow faster. An attempt to increase the natural resources in areas that are deprived of them. To help deal with the current food crisis.
She stretched her arms backward. Her research had reached a standstill. She would need a breakthrough, and soon. Otherwise, her research would be defunded by the powers that be.
She looked outside and saw that it was almost noon. In such a state, she would not be a help to anyone. She decided to go to her apartment for now. She is of no help to anyone right now. Maybe a cold head would help her.
She also should visit Bruce and see how he is doing. Betty blushed at that. It felt liberating to not care about anyone else. The fear and the panic were all gone now. She could just cuddle up with Bruce just like she used to do in High School and Sophomore.
Betty had no idea what had happened the night before. Her colleagues had just given her wide-eyed stares.
She locked up the lab after she had done cleaning up. Nodding to security, she got into her car and went home.
She opened her door and was surprised to see complete darkness. She usually left her lights on. Believing that the worst had happened. She took out a Taser and calmly entered. Moving to the switch, she turned on the lights.
"Surprise." Two voices yelled out at the same time.
She put her stun gun down and saw two masked individuals before her. Of course, it was Loki and Ace.
"So, what's this surprise about?" Placing the stun gun back inside her purse.
"Guess," Loki said.
"You finally grew up." She looked firmly at Loki.
"Nope," Loki answered exaggeratedly.
"Ace managed to get a mother." She patted Ace's head as she looked at Loki.
"Noooo...." Loki answered, his confusion evident.
"You are in the process of getting hitched. A Thief finally managed to steal your heart. You were charmed by a spy, and now both of you are getting married. You managed to rescue a princess; now she has invited you to her kingdom."
For some reason, each of her questions had resulted in a stab to his heart. Why must these couples torment him so?
Betty smiled. She finally had a hold of his weakness. "I can introduce a few co-workers to you. You could go on a date with them."
K.O.
Loki dropped down onto his knees lifelessly.
"So, what's this surprise," Betty asked again.
Loki stood up and took out a party popper.
He pressed the button, and Blue confetti came out.
"I still don't get it," Betty answered. Her arms crossed over her chest as she impatiently tapped her foot.
Loki took out a balloon and gave it to her.
"Just pop it. Maybe that would be helpful." Loki handed her a pin as well.
Betty sighed and took the pin. She knew that Loki would keep pestering her until she did what he had asked her for.
She popped the balloon, which again released some blue smoke. A letter was left inside her hand. She looked at Loki and Ace suspiciously. Both of them were looking at her with eager eyes. She opened the letter and read it.
Her brain just crashed. It rebooted, and then it crashed again. She kept on looking at the letter again and again. Each time, she could understand the words. But she could not comprehend their meaning.
"It's a boy," Ace added helpfully.
The Letter.
[
Congratulations on the boy.
]
Loki passed his hand in front of her face to get a reaction. "I think she has gone cationic."
"Uncle Bruce will know what to do." Ace on the side just had an eureka moment.
Loki nodded. He pulled both of them into his Kamui dimension.

(At Loki's Island)
They all showed up in the observation room. Bruce had settled down and was talking to Garfield.
"So, you are like my uncle."
Bruce nodded at that.
"And you can turn into a giant green man. That is so cool." Garfield had literal stars in his eyes as he looked at Bruce Banner.
"I guess that should be right." Bruce nodded. "But you should be fine in a few days."
Bruce sighed. He was crap at this emotional stuff. He had no idea how to bring the idea of adoption up. He had stability and could provide a stable home. He also wanted to shield Garfield from all the hate directed at him.
Bruce was just about to breach the question.
"You had a son, and you did not tell me about him." Bruce froze. Was that Betty? Of course, Loki had his mark all over this.
"You have a son. Where? Where?" Garfield started to look around.
"Banner." Betty angrily asked him.
"So cool." Garfield was looking at him with shining eyes.
And then there was the chaotic duo.
"Banner." Loki was winking at him continuously.
"Uncle." Ace was giving him the puppy-eye look.
Bruce slapped his forehead. He could understand Loki, but how could Betty fall for Loki's deception.
"Well, since Loki already broached the subject." Bruce sighed. "I wish to adopt you, Garfield."
"Really." Garfield's ears dropped. His ears dropped. He began to bawl, his arms covering his eyes. "You are not lying, are you." He said in between sobs.
Bruce's protective instincts took over. He wrapped his arms around Garfield as he said. "I am not lying." God, he felt awkward asking this. "Will you be my son?"
"Yes," Garfield answered, Hugging Banner back.
Betty looked at Bruce. She realized that this was the man she had fallen in love with long ago. A self-sacrificing man who loved so deeply. Willing to do the right thing, no matter what the cost.
She would have fought the world with him, but he ran away. Afraid that he would harm her. If he tried to run away again. She would hunt him down and drag him back. Her fist clenched.
"And you can call me mom." She told Garfield.
Garfield just kept crying.
"Betty, you don't need to." Banner did not get a chance to finish that sentence. She hit him on the head with the full force of her punch.
"Shut up." It was a simple command, and Bruce, being someone sensible, obeyed.
But there was one idiot that they all had forgotten about.
"So, when are you getting married." Loki wrapped both of his arms around himself and began to make kissy, kissy faces. "Can't have mommy and daddy living in sin now, can we."
Bruce cracked his knuckles, his tone turning a bit green. Betty by his side. "Ace, stay here with Garfield. Uncle Banner needs to teach Loki some lessons."
"Don't forget me as well." Betty had her stun gun out. Maybe she could work off some of her stress this way.
"Dynamic Entry." Bruce kicked Loki as he ducked. Dodging that strike. He saw the taser coming for him. Feeling that turning intangible would be like cheating. He bent down matrix style as he dodged the taser as well.
Turning around. He ran out of the room. Followed by Hulk and Betty.
Garfield had managed to dry off a few of his tears. A hand was in front of him. "Welcome to the family."
As Garfield grabbed her hand, she pulled him into a hug. She remembered a lesson from Loki, so she did not forget to threaten him. "I will end you if you embarrass me in my class."
"Don't worry, mama. I am one of the coolest guys alive." Garfield was giving her a thumbs up.
Ace looked at him. That did not inspire confidence.
---------------------------------------------
(General Ross POV)
Ross had finally reached Betty's apartment. He gulped. There were some things that he needed to ask her.
He knocked on the door and waited for a moment.
There was no reply.
He placed his hand on the handle. The door was unlocked. Fearing the worst. He took out his gun and threw the door open. What he saw were balloons and a big poster saying congratulations.
He saw a note on the ground and picked it up.
He trembled. Could Banner have knocked up Betty while the experiments were going on? He did not think her daughter would hide it if she had a son. She would protect him at all costs. Could it be that some conspiracy caused them to lose their memories?
At first, he thought that it could not be possible. But then he remembered the projects his own Government had hidden from the eyes of the public.
A seed of doubt was planted in his head.
He resolved himself to find the truth and to protect his own grandson.
And so, a misunderstanding was born, which would have long-term consequences.
----------------------------------------
Unknown to Ross. He had been followed by Natasha. She had seen the note with the help of a small surveillance drone.
"Sending the footage. It is confirmed. The child is the son of Banner."
Director Fury sighed. "So, all it took for the beast to be brought under control was a beauty. "
Coulson added. "A beauty that did not fear the beast, Director."
"Any ideas, Agent Hill." Fury looked at her.
"It may be possible that the boy was taken from Banner. A memory locked away by Banner. But one that fueled the Hulk." She said.
Fury would have said something, but he contemplated for a moment. Such a possibility may hold some merit.
"Look into Banner's history. I don't care if it was destroyed. Piece it together if you have to." Director Fury ordered.
And so Loki's prank spiraled even more out of control.
------------------------------
(Amanda Waller POV)
"So, Suicide Squad is a go." Amanda Waller informed one of her closest accomplices.
"Not yet. But I can see it is being considered right now." Her closest agent answered.
"Open up recruitment for field agents, ones that would work in the field with the squad."
"You are hoping to use it as a trap."
Amanda nodded at that. "We will need to expand, but I can limit Hydra's influence as much as possible."
Her agent nodded at that.
"Project Rooster is a go then."
Amanda nodded at that. "It is a pity, but Shield must also be brought down."
