Mian looked at Wang Eric with a hint of disbelief crossing her features.
'President? Mr. Mu is his boss? No wonder, why he is so acting weird! What a combination; like master, like subordinate! How do they work together though?'
"Hehe!" Mian had to swallow her awkward meme-like laugh, which ceased to exist after the first count. She stopped her train of thoughts, then turned serious. "Your headache is a little weird indeed. Earlier you said, you have been having it for seven years now. So, is it constant or do you get it randomly?"
Wang Eric turned nervous eyes on Mian, then answered with quandary, "Sometimes...?" In his head, he was having a ghost of a smile plastered on his face.
What was so funny to elicit that laugh from Dr. Mian?!
"Do you feel any pain in your eyeballs? Or suffer from visual phenomena, such as glimpsing numerous patterns, diverse appearance, radiant big dots, or flares of light, while having the headache?" Mian asked.
"Yes, I do." Wang Eric replied, settling into reality. He knew, where this conversation was going: towards his long lasting enemy, who was in peak, as he was in his thirties.
"Do let me know, if you have any of the following symptoms—pins, or needle sensations in an arm or leg; weakness or numbness in the face or one side of the body; difficulty speaking."
"All three of them." Wang Eric replied immediately, too familiar with all the symptoms for thinking twice.
"Can you see everything clearly? Tell me what is written on that wallmate over there?" Mian asked, pointing at a motivational wall frame picture in her chamber.
"I can't see it clearly, Dr." Wang Eric knew he couldn't, yet he tried. He took off his eyewear earlier while crying rivers, put it in his pocket, and hadn't worn them till now.
"Then, I suppose it's a migraine. You should consult with an ophthalmologist instead. Although, migraine doesn't have any permanent cure, he will give you treatments to find long-running, effective attenuation, or partial remission; and change the spectacles' power, if you have been already using one."
"Okay Doc."
Mu Yuhaan, oblivious to the entire conversation, was staring at Mian to his heart's content. Whenever he was with her, he felt relaxed, at peace, happy, content, secure and so many emotions at the same time. It was blissful in one word. He wished time had stopped there.
Reversing it, Mian's face was averted from Mu Yuhaan while talking to Wang Eric. Suddenly, turning at him, her gaze stumbled upon Mu Yuhaan's eager eyes, defrosting a bit of the wall Mian constructed around her heart in order to focus on her life goal.
She lingered her gaze on Mu Yuhaan, whose gaze was full of an unidentifiable feeling, then apologized sincerely, "Mr. Mu, about the morning incident, I'm truly sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you, but I know I did."
This was one of the simple qualities, ascending Mian above all human beings. Whenever she thought that she had made any mistake, her conscience would keep kicking her inside until she apologized and corrected it.
Mu Yuhaan's heart jumped into high gear. He didn't expect it at all; therefore, it came as a surprise when Mian apologized. Taking in her concerned face and sincere apology, his heart was immediately warmed.
Earlier's howling squall inside him now became gentle flow of wind. He had been hell worried all day long, thinking that Mian would be angry at him and refuse to see him again; but it turned out she was regretting her action!
Mian's apology gladdened Mu Yuhaan's mood profoundly!
How soft hearted his Mian was!
His Mian?
Mu Yuhaan paused his thought, relishing the emotions, these two words coated his heart with.
Truely said, often simple words had powerful impact on us! It was a very simple sentence consisted of two words, yet warmed Mu Yuhaan's heart like nothing before!
From now on, Mian was only his!
Mu Yuhaan's lips parted and turned upwards in a smile, and the pink glow of jubilation on his face was very obvious. He extended his both hands, clasped over Mian's, then said with a low chuckle, "No worries. I will be going to your place anyway." He was content to his soul making up with Mian.
Mian didn't know whether to laugh or cry! A moment later, she was unable to fight back her chuckle, that Mu Yuhaan's cheekiness raised. "Fine. You can come. I will try to spend my free time with you as much as I can."
Hu Ming, thrown out of the picture, stared at Mu Yuhaan, astonished.
Mu Yuhaan was smiling with an amicable expression?!
The everlasting paralyzed face was bathed with unusual bloom! The spark on Mu Yuhaan's face was something never appeared before!
Just then, Wang Eric realized how much significance Mian started to have in his president's life.

Two weeks later...
"Dr. Mian, we did the neurological observations. When the head nurse shone light into the patient's eyes, his pupils reacted. However, he didn't answer any of the questions, when asked. Simply put, he is not talking at all." A nurse reported Mian about Yangyang's health condition, as they walked towards his ward.
Mian knitted her eyebrows hard, hearing the most feared symptom.
Major brain surgery and it's treatment can often be the fountainhead behind senile dementia, cynanthropy, drastic personality change, ineptitude to think, and many more knotty side effects. Even buoyant people sometimes winded up with high levels of anxiety.
Many times, brain surgery throws obstacles in patients' life taking away their ability of communication, concentration, memory and emotional balance. Which results in the patients falling in the endless pit of depression, losing interest in their daily activities, eventually estranging themselves from the family, friends, and outside world.
In the end, they fall victim to an inferiority complex, and in the fit of pique, they often take their own lives.
All sorts of possibilities went through Mian's mind, as she marched towards the VVIP wing.
First People's Hospital had two royal suites, ten presidential suites, and six deluxe suites on the VIP wing, supplying top of the range accommodation to the silk-stocking, and powerful people.
Constructed in modern architecture, furnished with contemporary furnitures, it had an absolute clean white background. All the wards here had their exclusive private capsule lift, valet service, and splash pools. Moreover, they were privileged with the entry permission to the huge natatorium on the ground floor, swim hot tubs, well-resourced spa and fully stocked up gymnasium.
