A Suggestion For Dating
Clark always remembered what he had promised. Because he had pledged to Jayden the previous day, he had an obligation to fulfill his promise: to visit Jayden's House on the weekend.
He didn't come early in the morning because he knew Jayden needed a lot of time off, given his busy work schedule. He prefers to come when the sun is almost overhead, believing that Jayden is awake and relaxing at this hour.
In addition, he got a message from John that Jayden had just returned at one a.m. He worked so hard for himself and his family that Clark felt both touched and guilty.
If he could, he would want to go back to work. He paid for all the living expenses of himself and Emelyn without asking Jayden for help, so Jayden no longer worked so hard.
Clark had informed Jayden that he would come and ensure his son was home. And when Jayden invited him, there was no other reason for him not to come.
