Chapter 21 Dead Winter Soldiers

Inside Kamar-Taj, Steven created a portal for Wright that led to the Siberan base where the Winter Soldiers were being kept.

Stepping through the Golden portal, The warm sun rays that warmed up the body of Wright completely dissapered replaced by a biting coldness.

The loud winds howling like ghosts screeching in agony.

The floor barely stable enough to stand on due to the accumulated snow.

Looking around Unaffected by the Snow Wright tried to find the base and luckily enough for him, He did find it as Steven had opened up the Portal right infront of it.

"Alright goodluck, but are you sure" Steven shouted to Wright over the heavy winds.

"Yea I'm sure see ya soon" Wright shouted back turning towards the portal that closed up soon after.

Walking around for a bit he tried to find the gates to enter which to his luck he very quickly found.

Applying his strength, Wright tried to push the door open and to his suprise The doors easily opened.

"They are unlocked, that means Zemo has already arrived" Wright said to himself as he spread out his Observation Haki to the maximum.

'Thinking back to it I should have let Steven come with me' Wright thought to himself as he explored the upper levels.

When he didn't find anything he decided to head to the lower level and explored them aswell all the way until he reached the third lower level which had a large opening past a massive gate.

Sensing inside although he couldn't covers the entire opening he knew that there were people inside.

"Bingo" Wright said to himself as he pushed open the doors.

"Hello there Zemo!" Wright walked in with confidence.

A clanging sound resounded at this moment from the only person moving inside the room,The life of another person he could sense infront of this person also began draining.

'He must be suprised'

"Who are you!"

"So you must be Zemo, I thought you were gonna activate these super soldiers, why kill them?" Wright asked but Zemo went silent.

Wright began walking closer to Zemo when Wright noticed Zemo silently pulling out a loaded gun and putting his fingers on the trigger.

He aimed it at Wright and although Wright could just dodge he didn't even bother with it.

What suprised Wright in all this however was that Zemo cracked a smile before he aimed the loaded gun at himself.

Wrights body instantly turning into Lightning just as the bullet began leaving the guns barrel.

Getting closer to Zemo, Wright shifted the trajectory the bullet slightly and slashed at the gun.

Nothing happened even though he had slashed it but it would soon happen once time returned to normal.

Heading back to where he was standing Wright turned back into a human.

The time resumed.

A loud bang resounded as a the sound of the shout spread around.

The entire upper part of the gun flung of the handle and crashed onto the ground producing a clanging sound.

The bullet that Wright had shifted slightly had grazed Zemo ears as a line of blood appeared on it.

Wright quickly sent a electric current strong enough to paralyse Zemo's legs and hands temporarily.

Wright watched as Zemo's body fail him the second the current hit causing him to tumble to the groundlike a ragdoll.

"Now, you are going to tell me why you were trying to kill these Winter soldiers" Wright asked looking at him through the blindfold.

"I refuse" He shouted through his gritted teeths, what followed was silence.

A few seconds later I just shrugged my shoulders.

"The Avengers are gonna find out anyways" I said as I shot another bolt letting it hit Zemo's head.

With a *Thud* I watched his body that was strugling to lift itself up hit the ground.

Wright began heading to one of the pods that still contained life.

Wright at this moment wondered if he should kill these Winter Soldiers.

Walking up close to them and putting his hands on the glass that separated the sleeping Winter Soldier and him he thought back to the Information he was given by Captain America.

"They are a Brainwashed..." Wright muttered to himself a few seconds later with a sigh.

"This reduces my guilt about causing this whole Sokovia accords thing to occur by alot." Wright mumbled to himself while he looked up to the tall roof.

Grabbing his phone to contact Captain America it struck him that he couldn't see what was on the screen, He had even forgotten the layout due to how long it ahd been since he had used the phone.

"Shit.." Wright said to himself as he tore a piece of folded paper that he took out of his back pocket.

This piece of paper imbued by the magic of Steven sent Steven the exact location of Wright when ripped.

This was something Steven had personally developed on the request of Wright.

A few seconds later Wright noticed a few sparks appear in a circular form before a whole diffrent world completely the opposite to the lifeless and dull fortress appeared.

The being the sunny Kamar-taj.

Steven stepped through the portal at this moment.

"So how did it go" Steven asked as he looked around the place.

"It wasn't anything special"

"Hmmm" Steven said as he headed towards the pods.

"This is some good cryogenic technology, Perfect for long space travels" Steven mumbled to himself.
