Chapter 28 | teamwork

daisy heard what kat said. too late, the teacher arrived and they couldn't be able to talk with each other anymore.

"ok class, turn your history books on page 157," the teacher is discussing a new lesson again...

while they are having new lesson, they heard attacks. charli summoned her gang to capture li and destroy the place.

"ah! what's that sound?!" a classmate of li said.

"everybody! get down now!" the teacher shouted but li and kat didn't follow her. they went outside and kat hid in the door to transform herself. li summoned her water spear and they went outside quick.

"wait! where's li and kat?!" the teacher asked.

"ma'am, they went outside, but we have no idea where are they going and what are they doing." daisy answered. "but if its the best if you should guys calm down, nothing wrong will happen to them hopefully."

...

"hey you bastard! what the **** are you doing here?" li shouted.

charli came down to her and mumbled her. "oh its you.. my old friend.. its nice to see you again.."

"YOU SHOULDN'T TALK TO ME LIKE THAT-" charli slapped li and she couldn't finish what she is saying.

"frostyinu bonked charli with her silver polearm and shapeshifted into a puppy and threw snowballs that gave her a brainfreeze."

both of them groaned and they are fighting charli's gang. the other 7 superheroes decided to help them out.

"all forces, retreat!" their mentor, harold (aka silverlane) shouted and both sides retreated.

"frost, you have to skip your classes for now, li, tell your teacher you are chasing her and she got attacked by a villian. go make a believable excuse. we are going to make a backup plan." jo requested.

"ok sir." li replied. "and also, you should guys inform the noble members so you guys can help each other."

"noted, m'lady."

the attacks have stopped. and the superheroes went into the headquarters to discuss their plan.

...

li went back to the classroom and told the teacher what happened. she is really good at making excuses.

"li? where have you been? and where is kat?"

"sorry ma'am, I told her not to run away, but she didn't listen to me. so I went outside to drag her back into the classroom but it was too late. I think she got captured." li pretends to be disappointed.

"I hope we can find her soon. so anyways, go back to your seats everyone. ok so let's go back to our lesson..."

meanwhile on the supersquad headquarters, the heroes arrived there and it seems like they are going to discuss something. jo had to file a leave. and sasha had to cover up for him.

"ok then, if you heard of this powerful supervillain named black rose, she brought a gang with her and their main target is the nobles of the city. so, our goal is to finish her and bring this world back from chaos to order." their mentor said.

"I've heard about our enemy in badass outfit. her main target is not just the prince or princesses, and not even li. everybody here in kyotana are the target here. her motive is to destroy anybody here especially the ones who praise the 2nd princess of the torrents." jo spoke out his opinion.

"oh, thanks for speaking out your opinion. but nonetheless, this is what we are going to do, I want all of you to observe her properly and we are going to make a special plan for that."

"special plan?!" everybody asked.

"indeed. as heroes, our goal here is to protect the world from any forms of harm. this organization was established since there are many bad people out there. danger is here. and many people have been seized or killed by this serial killer who is now the mastermind of the project eliminate."

"so black rose planned this all along?!" kat replied. "and is it okay if we make theories about it. I think it could help us plan our next move."

"good idea, rookie." harold approved this idea.
