In Charge

"That also goes for all of you, though I want you to focus on specific things. For example, today I introduced Grace to her [Role]." I looked over at Grace who seemed to be falling asleep slowly. She quickly opened her eyes again, though. I hadn't noticed but it is getting late so we might need to continue this tomorrow morning. I'll try to get through as much as I can.

"Lucky." Frankie looked over at Grace. In a sense, I wanted to give everyone jobs to do but those with skills have priority. If I know what they can do, then I know what task to appoint them to. Grace was very lucky, indeed. Not only did she have a skill but she also had a trait. She had, like I said before, won the kitty lottery.

"So for everyone else, for now, your priority is to gain experience. I want you all to keep yourselves busy, only return when I ask you to. I'll [Call] or [Summon] you. I don't want you all to try to defeat a dragon, but Rambits or a bit bigger are okay." I look over at them all. Everyone that went out with me today, seemed to be super tired. Meanwhile, everyone else that stayed out had enough energy to stay up. I knew it would happen, but I want to make sure it doesn't keep happening.

"Rambits?" Mystic looks at me confused. Oh, she hadn't gone with us. Okay, I think I can make a plan with this then.

"Since I took Shiver, Silk, Fern and Doggy today. They all have fought with a Rambit, so I'll be splitting you up in teams." Shiver and Silk both look at each other. Of course, I'll keep them together.

"Shiver and Silk will team up with Frankie and Snake. If you four decide to go attack Rambits, then go together, okay? I'll call you four, Team Break" I'll check their stats tomorrow morning, but I decided to put them together because I thought they'd match each other while still contrasting each other. For example, Snake will prefer to sneak, most likely. Frankie might be slow but Shiver and Silk are both capable. So, they'll probably be fine together.

"Tulip, Grace, Hana and Fern will team up. Same to you four. I'll call you four, Team Flutter" Fern should be able to handle the three girls with his patient but intelligent personality. Grace being on the team should keep fights from happening, if they happen though.

"Mystic, Velvet, Dolly and Doggy. And I'll call you four Team Vital" I put these four together because Mystic is a good leader. She could help Velvet get out of her comfort zone, help Doggy make smarter choices. Dolly has a good relationship with all of them, so I doubt there will be any trouble with her joining the other three. Mystic will lead them well in a fight so I'm confident about this group.

I wanted to give their teams names so that I could make quick choices.

"Vital, I like it." Mystic commented, of course I think of Mystic as a vital aspect to the team. But I also wanted to name it that because of the letter V. It'll make Velvet feel more included. I'm concerned that she might be too scared to fight, so I wanted to make her feel strong. She's vital to her team as well. I look down at her and she appears a bit nervous. I'd feel nervous too if I were her, honestly. I'm glad I have them or I'd be in this world all alone. I don't think I'd be capable of doing it all alone.

"My plans are to switch through each team in the morning. One team will be on [Alert] and [Orbit] by my side. Meanwhile, the other two will be on [Hunt] and [Protect], I'll also call you back if I need you so don't wander too far away. In the morning, the two that can Hunt will be allowed to leave bright and early using the window. Don't bother to wait for me to wake up, if you had your turn yesterday then you're good for today. If you didn't, then wait. I might also pick depending on who I need, but that'll be rare." I wanted to do this so that everyone could have a fair chance to awaken their skills. Plus, this way no one will feel left behind. Yes, this is the no cats left behind strategy.

"If someone awakens a skill, please return to the inn or track me down. Unless I say otherwise, of course." Technically, we only have two more days here, but I'll update them about that later on. I want to get some sleep. It's officially night time now. I feel like time is quick. It's been what... two days... only since I got here but I feel like we've done a lot.

"Okay, let's all sleep. Don't rush out tomorrow morning, alright? I have a couple things I want to show you in the morning." I pull the bed sheet down and snuggle inside the blanket. Everyone had gotten into position in bed already. Snake would be sleeping under the bed, like usual. Being his protective self.
