Chapter 63: A World Jump

After getting settled down in the house, everyone was brought to the beach to start their 3 days of fun, while Kenichi was brought up to the cliff side to make his leap of faith.

[Alright, Kenichi… All you gotta do, is jump down into the water, and then you can spend the next 3 days relaxing with Miu]: Akisame

Kenichi looked over the edge to see the long drop with some rocks protruding out from the water down below, before looking over to the beach side where his sister Honoka, was playing with both Miu and Nikita in the water.

[I-I don't think this is a good idea… What if I die?]: kenichi

Hearing how cowardly Kenichi was acting, Soren decided to step in, as he never liked Kenichi's polar opposite sides of being brave and willing to do anything to save someone he cares about at one moment, then being a wimp who can't even look someone in the eye, even if he was stronger than them in a complete other moment.

[Kenichi… Jump now, or I'll kill your sister]: soren

When Kenichi heard this, he quickly snapped towards Soren as he heard what he said.

[W-What!?... Why would you say something like that!?]: kenichi

Soren then began walking towards the edge of the cliff side, while Kenichi watched his every move with a bit of caution, before Soren stopped and began speaking.

[Kenichi… What if I were to hold your sister hostage… What would you do?]: soren

[W-Well… I-I would save her]: kenichi

[Would you?... Or would you find a way to push your problems onto someone else because you know you don't have the strength to defeat me and rescue your sister yourself]: soren

When Soren said these words, he noticed that Kenichi began to doubt himself as his body began to shiver a bit, as Akisame began to speak out.

[Soren… What are you trying to achieve?... Why are you bringing his sister into this?]: akisame

[Akisame… Stay out of this… Today is the day that Kenichi will either be a man, or stay a little boy… Now… Kenichi, jump off the edge of that cliff, or I will kill your sister… Don't think I won't, as I have no problem taking a life, as I've done it many times before]: soren

When Kenichi heard Soren's dark tone, he began to wonder just how psychotic Soren really was, and it was also at this time that Hayato, Shio, and Shigure began to watch who this would play out.

[B-But I can't swim!]: kenichi

Kenichi then heard Soren begin counting down, as he began going through his options, but seeing as everyone else didn't seem to care to help out, Kenichi's thoughts ran to his sister, and then the thought of Soren killing her came to mind, making fear and anxiety run through his veins, before Kencihi set his resolve to jump, just as Soren spoke.

[... 1… It seems you are just a failure]: soren

[Wait!!!... I'll jump!]: kenichi

With these last words, Kenichi didn't even give Soren time to respond, as he turned to the edge of the cliff, and jumped off while throwing out all of his fears, and keeping one thought in mind, and that thought was quite simple.

'I must protect Honoka, even if it means sacrificing my own life for hers… If I die, I can only blame my luck, and these evil bastards who forced me to jump': kenichi

Kenichi hit the water, as his head popped up, but he quickly began going back under, as he didn't know how to swim, making Shigure take action, as she quickly stripped down into her white cloth undergarments, and white cloth bandages that wrapped around her chest, before she dived in after Kenichi, and took his unconscious body to shore.

[Wow… I didn't think you would go as far as to threaten him with the well being of his sister… That's cold]: shio

[I did what I saw was needed… You guys are taking it easy on him, and some things require the gloves to come off… I'll explain to him later, that I never intended on causing harm to his sister]: soren

Soren then left the cliff side, along with Hayato, Akisame, and Shio, before heading back to the house, just in time to see Kensei taking care of Kenichi, as Kenichi lay there unconscious.

[Shigure… You did a great job rescuing him]: soren

[Umm... ]: shigure

Shigure just kept her emotionless face, as usual, before Soren turned to leave and spend some time at the beach with Nikita.

'Ava… Was I too forceful with how I went about giving Kenichi the courage to jump off the cliff?': soren

<{I wouldn't call that courage, more along the lines of fear induced actions… If you asked Kenichi to jump again, he wouldn't jump, unless he felt the fear and possible threat of you taking the life of his sister again}>

Soren was in a dilemma, as Ava was correct, and Soren's forceful attitude towards Kenichi was too much, and he felt he needed to take a different approach, but didn't know how.

'Maybe I should take some notes from Akisame, and alter them to fit how I wish to train Kenichi… As it seems that my previous actions were that of a psychotic child, rather than a wise adult': soren

Soren then spent the next 3 days working on repairing the bond of trust between him and Kenichi, as Kenichi seemed to be scared by Soren's words from yesterday, and occasionally, Soren would work with Akisame on learning proper etiquette for training a child. After coming back from the island, Kenichi's training had taken the next step, as now Soren was no longer teaching Kenichi about breathing, rather it was weight training.

[Alright, Kenichi… Today you graduate from breathing exercises, and move onto the second phase of training with me… I want you to wear these clothes at all times, and the only time you can take them off is during sleep, or if you take a shower]: soren

Soren then handed Kenichi a simple white gi like the karate uniform he usually wore, but the weight of this simple uniform was just over 110 kgs, and when Kenichi held the uniform in hand, he felt the weight, and had a look of distress appear on his face.

[Uhh… Master, do you really expect me to wear these clothes all day!?]: kenichi

[Precisely!... Wearing these clothes will help build muscle not just in your arms and legs, but all over your body, as this weight will be distributed evenly throughout your entire body… But don't think I'm just trying to torture you… You see, I'm always wearing weighted clothes, so I know the benefits of weight training]: soren

[Y-Yes, Master!!!]: kenichi

Kenichi then ran off to put on his new clothes, while Soren decided that it was time to take a short leave from this world, as his bloodlust had been building up over the last 16 years, and he felt that taking Nikita to a world where a classroom full of assassins tasked with killing their teacher would be fun. Soren then called Nikita as he gathered everyone at the courtyard, and began explaining the situation.

[Now, I have gathered you all here to inform you that Nikita and I will be leaving for a while, but we'll come back in a few months or so… Kenichi, train hard, and never take off those weighted clothes… Also, in your room, I made you a few sets of weighted school clothes, so you don't have to wear your martial uniform under your school clothes]: soren

After saying goodbye to everyone, Soren took Nikita and left town before Soren began the transportation to their next world, but something unexpected happened, as Soren was brought to a singular white space all by himself, with no sign of Nikita, or anyone else.

[Where the hell am I?... Ava?]: soren

There was no response from Ava, but he could still tell she was there, though it seemed she was being silenced by something.

[Well, well, well… If it isn't Dad's new toy]: ???

When Soren heard this voice, it seemed to hold a british accent to it, as it seemed calm, yet angered when he said the word "Dad" as he spoke to Soren.

[Who are you?… Where are you?]: soren

[I guess I could tell you my name, though you might see it as trivial… The name's Lucifer Morningstar… The ruler of hell, also one of the first Gods ever created, but with my creation came lots of power, and all that power had gone to my head, so I rebelled and tried to take over as the one true creator, but dear ol' dad wasn't having none of it, and stripped my of my title as a God, and created a whole universe of my own that was called Hell, where I would oversee all the demons and damned souls that come to my realm after death… So, now that you know about me, let's get to the reason as to why I called you here… You see, I see a lot of myself inside you, even to the point of having my bloodline hidden within, least I say father is trying to replace me after all these eons?... Anyway, since I brought you here, I want something from you… I want you to help me unlock my powers that were sealed since my fall, and if you can help me, I'll release your little girlfriend, here]: lucifer

As the man known as Lucifer spoke, he brought Soren's attention towards a small bubble holding a crying, scared, and confused Nikita, making Soren flip.

[Release her!]: soren

[Mmmhh… No, I don't think I will… But if you can do as I ask, I'll be glad to release her to you]: lucifer

[You're messing with the wrong person… I'll give you to the count of 3, then I'll kill you]: soren

[Ahahahaha!... K-Kill ME!?... Even I can't kill myself… And even if you had the proper means to do so, you're still too weak… Now, if you want to hear how you can release her, then listen up…]: lucifer

Just as Soren reached the end of his count and began to charge towards Lucifer, a simple palm flip had sent Soren back through a bright white light, as he charged out into an open ally, before landing in a pile of garbage and junk.

[What the hell!?... Where'd he go!?]: soren

Soren began looking around, before noticing Nikita was still missing, before his attention was caught by Ava's words.

<{Where did who go?}>

'Ava, did you not hear me calling for you earlier?': soren

<{I don't know what you mean… As we did the transfer, nothing happened until we arrived here where Nikita was no longer with us, and you directly charged out at the pile of garbage}>

'I see… So he was using a power way beyond even your ability': soren

<{So where is Nikita?}>

'She had been separated from us… I need to find a way to get her back': soren

Just as Sorne began planning for Nikita's rescue, a simple prompt showed up on the system screen that seemed to be placed there by someone other than Ava.

<{Calmed down yet?... If so, I will explain the rules… I need you to collect these Divine Crystals for me, and then I can release Nikita to you… Don't worry, it should only take you a few thousand years, and time flow is different where I'm keeping Nikita, so only a few months will have passed for her… Since I have access to your system due to you being a possessor of my bloodline, I can issue quests, since my power is still above your systems, meaning I also have information as to who possesses one of these Divine Crystals… In this world, it seems that a man named Koro Sensei is a possessor… Anyway, go kill him and take the crystal}>

As the message disappeared, a simple quest tab showed up in the system interface, with a single quest inside that was named "Crystal Collection"

'Ava, is there a way to trace where the changes in the system came from?': soren

<{There is, but it's in a realm you don't have access to, and neither do I have access… Almost as if it was separated from the entire concept of reality itself}>

'So this is where Nikita is being held… I'll kill him… This man who thinks messing with me and my wife is a game… I'll make sure he suffers in the hell he is meant to rule over… I guess I need to play his game for now': soren

Soren then made his way out of the ally, and towards the schools.
