'So, there is a Goblin Captain inside the cave.'

Aeon shuddered a little when he finally got the information he wanted from the last Goblin Soldier.

Just like how the Life Blood Cultivation was classified into different realms, the monsters were also classified in different ranks, starting from rank 1 Soldier to rank 10 Emperor.

A Goblin Captain comes under a rank 3 monster whose strength is equivalent to a Life Blood Captain.

'A Rank 3 Monster…even if it was injured, it was not something I could fight even if I breakthrough to the Life Blood Sergeant Realm.'

After learning everything, Aeon started feeling that taking over the cave was much more difficult than he expected.

Because of that, the Goblin Captain lost 20 Goblin Soldiers and even got severely injured along with the surviving Goblin Soldiers except for three.

Of course, there were losses on the other side too. The Orc Sergeant was moderately injured and lost his entire crew.

In the end, it was the Goblin Captain who tactfully retreated as he knew that the Orcs would battle to death while bringing down the other party with them.

'The Orc Sergeant I saw yesterday must be the one who fought with the Goblin Captain.'

Aeon immediately thought about the Orc Sergeant who was getting pestered by the Forest Gremlins and was not surprised why the Goblin Captain was terribly lost and retreated.

"Anyway, the main thing right now is, how to take care of the Goblin Captain."

If Aeon wanted the cave, he needed to kill the Goblin Captain and with Aeon's strength, it was impossible to do that.

"Even though I can take care of the seven injured Goblin Soldiers, I need a good plan to take down the Goblin Captain." 

Aeon muttered as his eyes fell on the Goblin Soldier who was still groaning in pain.

"Human…Why are you looking at me like that? I have told you everything you have asked me."

Sensing Aeon's gaze, the Goblin Soldier had an ominous feeling in his heart.

"Is there any way I can kill your Captain without confronting him?"

As someone who was following the Goblin Captain, Goblin Soldier would know more about Goblin Captain. Thus, Aeon looked at the Goblin Soldier with a slight smile.

However, for the Goblin Soldier, that smile made him shudder unconsciously.

"If you tell me something, you don't have to go through unnecessary pain again."

Aeon played with the stone as he said to the Goblin Soldier.

'Damn human.'

The Goblin Soldier cursed Aeon as it gritted its teeth before saying, "My Captain is planning to do a ritual to heal his injuries tomorrow night. At that time, he would be in a weak state during the process as he would be using his Life Energy to fuel the ritual."

"A ritual to heal his injuries?"

Since Goblins have weak battle prowess compared to the other monsters, they learned rituals with which they could do different things like temporarily increasing their attack power, defence power, healing speed and many other things.

So, Aeon's eyes lit up when he heard it, 'It looks like I will get that cave for myself.'

If it was before, Aeon would have not believed that he would be happy at the thought of having a cave to sleep in; however, things have changed now.

"Thanks for the information. I will put you off your misery."

Aeon didn't forget to thank the Goblin Soldier before killing it.
