Chapter 9

In the kitchen of an ordinary house, there was a kid who's in the middle of arranging the groceries. He put the dried groceries into the refrigerator and wet ones into the freezer. Yoshi was glad he has been provided with them even though they're small.

After he done with the groceries, he went to the bathroom, took a shower and finally put on his new clothes. He wore a black jacket with hoodie and a white shirt on the inside and black knee-length shorts. Suddenly, he heard something.

*Grrrrowl~*

'Oh, my stomach is hungry.' thought Yoshi.

"I'm too lazy to cook. Guess I'm eating out today."

Yoshi took some money and went straight out of the house. He walked in the street that's full of people and most of them are civilian. While walking, he looked around and saw many stalls selling foods and stuff. Yoshi looked at all of them with an uninterested face. This was the case, even though Yoshi's mother is Japanese, he never eat any of the Japanese cuisine. Why? Because he doesn't get any chance to eat it. So, he's afraid all the foods here would not suite his taste.

He just walked past all of the stalls with his hungry stomach. But then stopped until he saw a familiar ramen shop. He smiled brightly and went into the shop.

'Ichiraku Ramen. The best ramen shop in the Naruto world. There's no way I'm gonna miss this. I'll even shove it into my mouth just to eat it.'

Yoshi sat on one of the chair while waiting for someone to take his order. A few seconds later, someone came and asked him what he wanted. It was a woman who has long, dark brown hair and a pair of black eyes. She's Ayame. A daughter of Teuchi, the owner of the ramen shop and a side character. Without her and Teuchi, then there'll be no delicious ramen and of course Naruto would be in more worst state, since they were the only one in the village whose kind to Naruto from the start.

"I want the most delicious ramen in this village." said Yoshi.

"Then, it'll be-"

Before Ayame could finish her word, suddenly a voice interrupted.

"Then, it'll be miso ramen with extra pork!"

Yoshi and Ayame looked at the way where the voice came from and saw a boy with yellow spiky hair, a pair of blue eyes and there's three whisker markings on his cheeks. No one's know when the kid got here.

"..." - Yoshi

"..." - Ayame

"What?" the kid asked in confusion.

Ayame just shooked her head and at the mean time Teuchi came out from the back shop and ready to start his job. When he saw the yellow haired kid, he knew what to cook first.

After a few seconds of silence, Yoshi decided to order his food again.

"I order the ramen he mentioned earlier." said Yoshi to Ayame.

"Alright, kid. Dad, one miso ramen for this little fellow here." said Ayame to his father, Teuchi.

Teuchi just gave her a thumbs up and got back to his work. While waiting for the ramen, Yoshi observed the kid two seats away from him from hair to toe.

'There's no mistaken. This kid is-'

"Hi! My name's Uzumaki Naruto and one day I'm gonna be the Hokage. I've never seen you before, are you new here?"

"Yes, I am." answer Yoshi with a little smile on his face.

"Hey, hey. Do you want to be friend with me? We can play together at the park, you know. B-but if you don't wan't to, then... that's okay." said Naruto with his voice a little bit sad since he knew all the kids in the village don't want to be friend with him.

"Fine. I can be you're friend. I myself don't know anyone here. It's great to have at least one person to talk to."

Hearing that, Naruto felt so happy and started to grin widely. After a couple of exchanging conversations, their ramen came at the same time and they ate them while still talking to each other. Ayame and Teuchi just smiled happily at the scene their looking at.

After a while,Yoshi finally finished his first ramen bowl while Naruto was already at his third. He felt satisfied with the food and planned to go to the park with Naruto later to kill sometime before the sun sets. But before he could asked him, suddenly he saw a bell rolled towards him and hit his chair. Saw that Naruto and the others didn't notice the presence of the bell, he knew this was the thing that he can see but others can't.

(Actually, Yoshi was suffered from Schizophrenia and it was already on the second stage which is called the Active Schizophrenia. It makes that one individual hallucinating, delusional and paranoia.)

"Hey, Naruto. I think I need to go now. So, I'll see you later" said Yoshi to Naruto.

Naruto who's still eating was shocked at Yoshi's action. He saw Yoshi put the money beside his bowl and immediately ran out of the shop. At first, Naruto doesn't care about it, after he realised he somehow missed something, he suddenly jumped from his chair and ran out to Yoshi.

"Hey! I still don't know... your.... name." Naruto said while looking at Yoshi who's running into the crowd.

'Why did he run though? No, more importantly, why didn't I ask for his name when we first met?!! Ahh!! I'm so dumb!!' thought Naruto, felt frustrated with himself. He then went back inside to finish his ramen that being left earlier.
