10 Chapter 10

In the middle of the crowd, there was a boy who's chasing after something. He shoved away the people that's blocking his path so that he won't lose sight of the thing. The boy was Yoshi and the thing he chased after was actually a bell that he saw back at the ramen shop.

The bell was rolling on the street, it became more faster as the time passed by. And that caused Yoshi to increase his speed while being alert with his surrounding, cause he might bump into someone since he was running so fast this time.

After felt like forever of playing tag with the bell, it suddenly turned its direction to the right which was leading to a dark alleyway. Yoshi stopped on his tracks literally in front of the alleyway. He was considering his decision whether or not to go chase the bell again or just forget about it and go home. He doesn't got to make any choice when he heard a bell sound came from the alleyway. He felt like, he's been hypnotised by the sound of the bell and unconsciously walked to the direction of the alleyway.

As Yoshi walked further into the dark alleyway, he saw a little boy around his age, standing in front of him with a big wide smile. The boy has a black hair, a pair of completely black eyes with his left eye been covered by the hair, and he wore a brown ragged clothes that covered his whole body. Yoshi saw the bell was on his right hand, and the bell suddenly disappeared out of thin air, leaving no trace behind like it never existed at all.

Yoshi looked at the kid and immediately recognized whose this figure belonged to. It was his 'nightmare' and he called him Kurayami which means darkness in Japanese. Actually, he's not the one who came up with the name, but the 'nightmare' who introduced himself as Yami which means dark when he first came into Yoshi's life.

"I never thought you will follow me even into another world." Yoshi said with his angry voice.

"Of course I'll follow you. We've been bound to each other anyway. So, how're you? I sent 'someone' to welcome you in your first day here. How was it? Do you like it?" asked Kurayami while slowly walking towards Yoshi.

"I knew it was you! What else do you want from me!!? Is it not enough for you to torture me for the past 10 years?!!" said Yoshi with half yelled voice.

"Did you forget something here? Remember what I told you when we first met, about my goal?"

Kurayami started walking away from Yoshi and turn to faced him. He snapped his right finger and suddenly they were window like things that appeared behind him. All the windows were displaying Yoshi's memories from when he was 7 y/o. Among all of them, Kurayami pointed his finger to one of the window at his far right.

"Look at this. Did you remember this time? It was the time when you got bullied by other kids and I'm the one who helped you. I possessed your body and bit the crap out of them. It was fun, wasn't it?" Kurayami said with a smile on his face. He then continued.

"My dear Yoshi, I remind you again. My goal is to take over your body and mess yourself up from the inside. I will plant a seed of fear and nightmare in your heart. I know that you will commit suicide soon, so if I didn't have any chance to take over your body then at least I can torture you before your time comes."

Kurayami then snapped his finger again and all the window things disappeared left Yoshi and Kurayami facing each other. One of each person eyes has anger and the other one has satisfaction.

"The sun about to set, you should go home now. I'll see you in dream." Kurayami said, waving his hand and disappeared as the wind blew by.
