The Beginning

"Hugh!!! I groaned as I was getting out of my bed to get ready for college which I'm almost late for. Oh geez I shouldn't have stayed up all night binge watching 'The Originals' well I enjoyed it... What should I wear today? Maybe I should wear this Red off-shoulder, Black crazy Jean, with a diamond Choker necklace and just maybe I will get to wear my new Nike Air Force 1 Mom got me for my last Birthday. Okay I think I'm good to go. My oh my that is one beautiful creation I am looking at, I said while I looked in the mirror".

Ava!!! Come on get your ass out here we're late

"Take a chill pill I'm done, let's go now".

As soon as I got to school entrance, I heard

Micaela Monroe!!! Come to the Vice-Chancellor's office immediately.

Oh my God, the principal's office is way at the other end of the school. Well I get to flaunt my new kicks, I said with a smile on my face. Let's begin our journey "ONWARD !!!" I screamed and started strutting down the hall

Yes, Miss Monroe come in and please have a seat. I called you here to talk about the after school sports, apparently you are yet to join any of the sports, here is a list of the available sports.

Basketball, tennis, volleyball, soccer, rugby, football...

I guess I'll go with Volleyball

Splendid, here's a form, fill it and take it to the sport coach and don't forget to attach a passport to it.

As I close the door behind me I heard someone calling out to me

"Hey, Mica"...

And as I looked in the direction of the voice I saw Ava

"Oh, Hi Ava"

"So what did the Vice-Chancellor say?"

She asked me to join an after school sport

" gosh, I clearly remember telling you to fill out an application form last week which you said you did, so that was a lie??"

Not really, I just hid the truth that's all.

Seriously, what's the difference? I'm tired of this back and forth.

She checked her watch and said in panic

"News Flash we're late for class"

Oh my God, Ava we have to run like our lives depend on it, okay?

"Okay, on three"

1,2,3 GO!!!

ding ding - bell rings

While breathing heavily

"OMG, we made it"

Yeah, we made it I guess my new kicks are good for sprinting

"And Mica try not to sleep through this class, okay?"

We both entered our classes, Ava's class was opposite my class.

"OK people we will be discussing C++ programme today, so can someone tell me who invented C++ programme?"

I wasn't bother about the class as I was staring out the window

"Mica!!! Can you answer the question? "

Sorry, Sir what was the question?

Everybody in class laughed

"Class, this is what happens when you don't listen in class. The question is who invented the C++ programme?"

"Correct, you are lucky you got it right, I was planning on making you clean the class afterwards"

Ding ding

"I guess that's the end of our class don't forget to read page 12 of your textbook. Bye, have a relaxing evening."

And you too, Sir... the whole class chorused

I hit my head and said; gosh I'm extremely tired and sleepy. Ava, can we go now?

"Yes, we can but aren't we supposed to go with Olivia and Emma?

Hugh!!! I guess I'll call them. I picked up my phone and dialed Olivia's number but she wouldn't pick up so I called Emma instead, thankfully she picked it.

What's up Girlfriend, where are you?

"I'm at the cheer-leading try-outs"

Oh, you done? Cause, I'm tired and I want to head back to the dorm with Ava

"Yeah, give me ten minutes; I'll meet you at the bus stop"

Oh Emma, is Olivia with you? I tried reaching her but she didn't pick up

"No, I guess she is at the basketball court but no worries I'll call her on my way out".

I hanged up. Ava let's go wait for them at the bus stop. As we were about to leave Oliver came running out of no way, panting he said "Hey, Girls How are you doing?"

We're fine but are you?

"Yeah, I accidentally walked into the ladies' bathroom"

Oh!? You're lucky you're still alive

Then Ava said," Yeah, Paul Walker made the same mistake and no one has heard of him since then"

"Paul who???, Oliver asked

Exactly, I replied him while laughing. Well where's Noah??

"mmm, He went out with his lady"

Again! Who is it this time? Are you heading back to the dorm now?

"Yeah, are you??"

Yes, let's go together

"Okay".

We met up with Emma and Olivia at the school entrance and left for the dorm together, we joked and gossiped on our way back. When we got back to the dorm, I was so tired I didn't even change I only took off my shoes before sleeping.

Few hours later I woke up to a loud bang on the door.

Oh Jesus, What the heck is going on?? Ava!!! Go check out the rude soul banging on our door.

"Hugh!!!, okay. Hi, you are??" She asked the person at the door

"Hi, I'm Isabella. I just moved in next door so I came to like, you know say hi to my neighbors."

While they were chatting I checked out this new chic, from her silky long black hair reaching her waist, her thin lips, her shinning Emerald eyes, well defined face, her height, curvy body to her voice, OMG she's beautiful. While I was checking her out our eyes connect so to avoid any misunderstanding I rushed to greet her with a smile.

Oh, Hi I'm Micaela but you can call me Mica, nice to meet you

We shook hands and oh my, her hand is so soft and warm, wait hold up are you thinking I'm interested in girls?? No, I'm not. I just admire her looks, that's all. Well, she invited us over for a cup of tea which we accepted her invite. Her decors are so exquisite, we chatted for a while we had few laughs and then we went back to our room. When we got back Ava mentioned she rented the whole room instead of half of the room, I was amazed that means she must be rich or she likes her privacy.

Alright I think we should sleep now we have school in the morning

"Oh she's sweet but a psycho, a little bit psycho at night she's screaming I'mma out of my mind". That's my ringtone, I picked up my phone to see who was calling me this early and it was Olivia.

Hey, you know if there's anything I hate more than a coffee stain on my white is early morning calls

"Yeah!! I was told to inform you there will be a coding class by 8:30 am today, which is 30 minutes away now"

What!!!!!!!!!!!! I thought they cancelled the class

"Oh, they got a substitute"

What!!! No way, you know I take my time dressing up so 30 minutes ain't enough. Tell them I'm sick or something.

"Yeah sorry I should have called you before now but I forgot while doing laundry." and don't forget to come along with your assignment""Bye, then. See ya.

Gosh, I was planning on resting today but the plan has been ruined. I can't miss this class.
