Chapter 70

She had her cheek pressed against his chest. He was warm and smelled wonderful. Daenerys woke up first. She sighed and nuzzled his chest. They had been lucky so far. No one seemed to know about them yet. The queen was in his quarters. His brother Robb, was off somewhere with a wildling girl. "Wake up my love." She peppered kisses over his face.

Her Jon breathed deeply, "Is it morning?" he rasped and squeezed her to him.

"Almost. I have to leave soon." She ran her nails over his back while kissing his shoulders.

"I'll escort you to your quarters." He opened his eyes and grinned.

"Good morning my queen." Jon rumbled.

"Good morning Lord Stark." She kissed his nose and stood before they spent another hour in bed. It was common for them wake and seek each other but they had to be more careful today. Today was the day before they journeyed to the Fist. Tyrion Lannister and Tommen Stark were to arrive an hour after dawn break.

Daenerys dressed and tried to braid her hair. She could only do the simple one. It would look Northern enough. She raised and turned away from his desk and faced him. She realized her mistake and turned away once more. Jon stood up naked, behind her. He kissed her neck and massaged her clothed breasts. "I want you." She could not deny him. She never could.

"Be quick about it." She teased.

Soon he hunched her dress up. Jon aroused her like no one else ever could. It was not necessary when he wet his fingers and played with her. She looked back and moaned. Daenerys loved when he was a bit rough with her; one of her little secrets. He cursed when he entered her. Daenerys held onto the desk as he pounded her. "I love your little cunt." He said filthily. The queen whimpered and brought one of his big hands to her belly.

"Play with me Jon." She said seductively.

Her Jon did. He plucked at her button and thrust harshly. Daenerys moaned and called his name time and time again until she felt the delicious tug in her belly. He held her and fucked her harder. Daenerys' cheek rested on the cool desk wood. He released and pulled her to him. "I wish we could stay longer." He turned and kissed her. His hands righted her dress. He paused at her breasts and dropped a kiss to each nipple.

Daenerys smiled when he rubbed her belly and hips. "I have your seed running down my thighs Jon Stark." She saw his member twitch.

The queen smiled wickedly, "That excites you." She kissed him and raked her nails on his belly almost touching his weeping member.

"Dress lord Stark." She fixed her hair a bit and waited for him to get ready. Jon adjusted himself and took her hand. He kissed them. "My queen should leave first." I will be three paces behind you.

So Daenerys left first and walked the long passageway away from Jon's quarters when she encountered Robb Stark. "Your grace." He said respectfully but with a confused look.

Daenerys smiled easily, "Lord Robb, I seemed to have become lost. I am looking for Lord Stark's solar."

The lord smiled and offered his arm, "If my queen would let me escort her?"

She nodded and took his arm, "of course."

Daenerys thanked the gods that Jon did not join them. He must have heard his brother's voice and retreated to his quarters. "We march in the morrow." She started conversation with the man.

"Aye my queen. It will take us a few days to arrive to the Fist. We will wait for the white walkers and defeat the Night King and his armies." Robb replied.

Daenerys felt a pang on her belly, "The vanguard then. How does that work?"

"Yes. Tommen and I will lead by the sides. Jon and father will be at the center and lead their men."

"Very dangerous then." Daenerys said with a hint of fear.

"It could be. My brothers and I have gone to war my queen. We each have lead armies into the South and the North. My father has warred all his life. We Starks are warriors and winners. Be assured my queen, we will be victorious."

They arrived to the main solar and entered. Jorah, Tommen, Tyrion bowed to her. Aegon kissed her cheek. Lord Stark bowed as well.

"Sweet aunt, I looked for you this morning." Her nephew whispered near her.

"I woke up early and decided to take a stroll around camp. Silly me got lost in the keep." She said graciously.

"Lord Lannister. Lord Tommen. I hope your travels were safe." Daenerys stated and sat across Lord Stark.

"Your grace, we have planned the attack and our men are traveling as we speak. We march now."

"I thought we would march in the morrow." She felt a little annoyed. Lord Stark changed plans every second it seemed. Daenerys was always last to learn. She could not show her frustration. It would be too satisfying for all the Northerners who did not believe a queen, a woman could be in battle or survive the harsh winter and the march.

"The vanguard will leave now. Find me Jon. We have to move his men now. My men have a few hours headstart."

Daenerys simmered. "What about me and my children?" Jon entered the council meeting. He stood beside his brother.

Tyrion addressed her, "My men have set the wildfire caches. They will join us. You and I will wait for Mormont, Prince Aegon and the rest of the Northern houses to attack. Ned and my nephews have instructed their men to retreat as soon as they see your dragons flying. The plan is to kill as many white walkers before you and your dragons rain fire upon them."

Daenerys frowned, "My lords and advisors have spoken of open war in the snowy fields. Many of our men will perish as they fight these monsters. Wouldn't it be less bloody and easier for me to ride the dragons first and have your armies finish up the rest of the white walkers?" Daenerys had that question ever since they left Castle Black. She remembered her great uncle Aemon telling her that she was the blood of the Dragon and that she would ride. He told her that she was part of the prince that was promised. "The three headed dragon will ride again." He had said with a big smile. Their meeting was too brief. She left as soon as Tommen Stark could take her to Craster's Keep. She thought her Jon would be there.

"No." It was Jon who spoke and went to his father's side.

Daenerys arched an eyebrow, "The Night King retreats after the wildfire sparks. He knows. Our attacks have to happen in the open field until we have weakened his numbers further." Her lover spoke swiftly.

"There would be less bloodshed if I set my dragons first." Daenerys insisted.

Lord Stark spoke this time, "Your grace, we want this war to end now. My sons and the North has battled the white walkers for almost two years now. It has to end once and for all. If we rain fire before time they will retreat and we will have ourselves in the same predicament."

"Very well." Daenerys replied still uncomfortable that she would not ride first. She understood their reasoning.

Tyrion cleared his throat. "Your grace and I will remain here until the order is given." Tyrion pointed to a small hill on the map. Ned and my nephews will charge into battle first. Greatjon, Mormont and Prince Aegon will lead next. Lastly, the Night's Watch and the rest of the free folk will close in and attack as well."

Daenerys sighed, "What will be the signal? When will I ride?"

Lord Stark looked at her and his face grew grim. "Our queen will command her children from the Fist."

"I have to ride Drogon." Daenerys said calmly.

Aegon looked at her and spoke clearly, "Your children have followed your commands from King's Landing. It is not necessary that you be atop a dragon sweet aunt."

She looked to Jorah for support, "Khaleesi, we cannot have our queen ride into battle. Your safety is paramount.

Daenerys frowned and spoke harshly, "I will ride Drogon. It is your decision whether you ride Viserion." She looked at Aegon who had the grace to look contrite.

"I must insist that you do not." Lord Stark spoke once more.

"I will ride or there will be no dragons aiding your cause Lord Stark." She said as a last resort.

Jon frowned and spoke directly to her, "Do you not understand what is at stake here? Millions of men are devoting their life to keeping the realms safe and you disregard that."

Daenerys stood and replied immediately, "I care for these men. They are my subjects which is why I will ride. My dragons are young, volatile, they need a rider."

"Then have Prince Aegon ride. Why does it have to be you?" Jon replied passionately.

"They are my children. They listen to me. I am their mother." Daenerys replied heatedly as well.

"Because of that. You are queen and your safety comes first." Jon insisted.

"I will ride my dragons." She said with a steely voice.

"You will not. I will not be a part of this Daenerys." Jon Stark raised his voice.

Daenerys looked at him disbelievingly. "I will ride my dragons and that is final." the queen turned and made to leave.

"It is not safe." He yelled after her. "Daenerys please think about this." He approached her and said with a more tender voice.

"Everyone leave." She ordered. No man moved. "Now." She yelled.

The men filed out. All confused. Lord Stark gave them a look as did Jorah and Aegon.

"What is the matter with you?" She hissed

Jon frowned, "I cannot have you out there."

Daenerys shook her head, "You knew I would ride Drogon. You have always known."

"I cannot let you ride." He said desperately. "You could die Daenerys." Jon said without looking directly at her. "I'll die if you die." He whispered.

She came to him and looked up at him. In that moment she felt so much tenderness for him. "I'm scared too. You are going to ride in the vanguard Jon. You could die too. I am safer my love. Drogon, Viserion and Rhaegal will never leave me."

Jon kissed her forehead, "Daenerys, I don't want you on top of that dragon please."

The queen looked at him and said it one last time. "I love you. I loved you before I met you but I will ride Jon. It is my duty as is your duty to ride in the vanguard." There was a glint in her eyes and she hoped Jon let this matter go.

He kissed her longingly, "I don't want to fight with you anymore."

"Neither do I." Daenerys replied. "We ride into battle. You are going within the hour but my love, there is little I can do to keep you from going and there is even less than you can do to keep me from riding my dragon."

He struggled to make sense of her words. Daenerys could tell that he would argue once more. "You ride into battle Jon. This could be our last hour together and you want to spend our possible last time together arguing about a moot point."

Jon kissed her, "You had the lord commander of this war leave his solar." Daenerys kissed him back. "I don't care. Let all of them know. Who will question the queen?" She realized the magnitude of the dilemma they were in.

"Do you care my love?" She asked while kissing the side of his neck. It was as if they had not been with each other all night and had not just had sex about an hour ago.

"Let them know. I will wage war to be with you. I do not care who knows that I am with you. I could not care less Daenerys. I love you." He said so forcefully that she forgot to care too. She was Daenerys Stormborn and would have him. She was his and he was hers.

Jon kissed her harshly. They were interrupted by the hard knock on the door and Jorah's voice. "Your grace."

Daenerys bit Jon's lip. He pushed her back, "You are a queen not a common whore. They are all men of our trust. Aegon would never say anything. It would make him look bad. I will leave first Daenerys. Go straight to your quarters." He kissed her again. She nodded. She loved that it was his idea and not hers. He had everything to lose. She would be marked as a whore but she was the conqueror "Aegon with tits" they called her.

She saw him open the door and leave. Jorah and Aegon entered. Her bear looked angry, sad and confused. Aegon looked furious. "How dare he call you by your name?"

"What is this familiarity with Stark?" Aegon asked her. His voice had some bite.

Daenerys looked composed, "The Stark boy is not used to women in battle. He merely felt intimidated by my presence. The ramblings of a young man I am sure."

Jorah did not look convinced but remained quiet. Aegon smiled, "I hope you left his role clear dearest aunt."

Daenerys nodded, "I did. Aegon, once more I must urge you to ride Viserion."

Aegon smiled and kissed both her cheeks. There was true affection; "I have to ride. Lord Stark and his sons will lead armies. I am the Prince and your heir. I have to ride into battle."

"As you wish. I will retire to my quarters; I feel a bit drained this morning. I will see off the Starks and the rest of our men." Daenerys walked out of the solar. Fortunately, she encountered no Starks.

Daenerys walked slowly. She greeted as many of the lords as she could. Aegon accompanied to her quarters. He kissed her cheek once more, "Rest well."

Daenerys entered her room and Jon was on her immediately. "I love you."

"I know. I know. I know." She repeated as he tore her dress apart.

"No one will keep me from you." He said feverishly. He kissed her as if possessed.

She wanted to weep, "promise you'll come back to me. Promise you will not do anything brave. I don't want you to be the Fearless Wolf. I want you to be Jon just Jon."

Daenerys led him to the bed. He fell over her. She needed him naked too. "You will come back to me Jon." He kissed neck and shoulders while she undid his breeches.

"I will. I always will." She moaned when he entered her. Daenerys held him to her and kissed his shoulder and every part of his body that she could reach. Jon looked at her and smiled when she closed her eyes.

"Open them. I want to see you when you come around me." He rasped. Daenerys opened her eyes and contracted around him when he licked his lips and bit at her neck. She triggered him and soon he spilled inside her.

Jon breathed harshly. "I think my father knows."

"Jorah suspects as well." Daenerys replied and kissed his forehead. He tried to move away from her. "Stay like this." She kept giving him small kisses.

"What did you tell Aegon and Jorah?" He asked

"That you were intimidated by me. Not used to women in battle." She replied easily, "What did you tell your father?"

"That I felt responsible for your safety." Jon offered. "I am to leave soon. Robb and Tommen must be looking for me. I think I will use your reasoning. That will throw them off a bit." He replied.

Daenerys kissed him again. "I will see you and your family off."

They rested until it was time for them to part. She dressed him and he chose the grey dress he loved on her. "Stark Grey is your color." He mumbled while kissing her one last time.

"Remember to take care." She said and hugged him.

"We will not be near each other for a while. I love you and I will come back to you as will you." He said and left with one last kiss.

Daenerys saw him go and felt fear of not having near him. She decided then. He will be with her. They would be together until one of them died. Daenerys could not bear to be by his side. She was queen and he would be her side.

Aegon retrieved her from her quarters. She noticed he wore armor too. "I will leave with Jorah and the Starks. Our armies travel as we speak. I am told you and Lannister will set off in the morrow."

"Very well." She took his hand and they walked to the courtyard. It was considerably empty. The armies marched to the Fist swiftly.

She bid farewell to Tommen and Robb first. "May your journey be safe." She said in a serious tone.

The brother nodded and joined their direwolves. Lord Stark was next, "Your grace."

"May you be victorious Lord Stark." She said with all sincerity. Jon was next to him; it was his turn to say goodbye.

"My queen." He said and bowed to her.

Daenerys nodded at him, "Be safe and remember." She said quickly.

Jon smiled and replied. "I will."

The Starks mounted their horses and rode off. Daenerys looked their way until she could no longer see them. She remained in the courtyard seeing the rest of the lords off. It was tedious but it had to be done. These were her men protecting her realms.

Soon it was time for Jorah and Aegon to leave. Her nephew was as theatrical as always. He bowed and kissed both her cheeks. "Have a safe journey nephew."

Her bear kissed her hands, "Khaleesi, I have to leave you once more."

"You have done well Jorah. I will be safe. I always am." She smiled at him. Her knight smiled sadly and mounted his steed. All the important men in her life rode to battle.

She retired to her quarters and tried to sleep. She felt pained and prepared some tea. Lady Stark's brew was all but gone. She had been correct; the men of the Night's Watch were useless in the matter. The free folk women gave her some roots but they did not help her in her monthly time. She was surprised to have bled every moon without fail. She had the curse of women still it seemed. She drank her tea and rested a bit. Daenerys felt alone. She missed Missandei, she missed Sansa and Lady Stark too. The queen wanted Jon near her, with her.

The morning did not come soon enough. She wanted to ride North as soon as dawn broke and so did Tyrion. "Your grace is correct. We must join our family as soon as we can." And so they journeyed to the Fist. Daenerys felt her blood upon her that first night away from the Keep. She fought through the pain and fashioned clean cloths out of her older dresses.

Tyrion noticed her discomfort. "My Sansa has horrible cramps too." He came into her tent and gave her tea and a sheepskin bag.

She grabbed it and it looked like a pillow. "Its filled with water." He brought it close to the fire nearby. "Place it on your belly and you will feel better."

Daenerys smiled, "Thank you Lord Tyrion."

The dwarf smiled, "you must call me Tyrion."

Daenerys nodded, "very well Tyrion."

She placed the sheepskin bag on her belly and felt better. "I must retire." The man said.

The queen did not want him to go. He slept next to her tent in a smaller tent of his own.

"Not yet." She did not want to beg but she did not want to be alone. Every night for the past three days she had horrible nightmares. Jon died every night. One of her dragons killed him while he fought the white walkers. The worse was when she said "Dracarys" and he was in the line of fire smiling at her.

"As my queen commands." He said with a hint of laughter.

Daenerys felt very comfortable with this Lannister. "Do you miss your lady wife very much?"

"Horribly. I miss her and I miss my babe." Tyrion said honestly.

Daenerys frowned, "Why are you here Tyrion? I mean no offense to you but you are no great warrior."

Tyrion laughed, "none taken my queen. I must confess I have asked myself the same question since I set off to Castle Black and I only have one answer."

Daenerys eagerly awaited his response.

"I am the worst sort of craven." The man confessed.

The queen shook her head, "I daresay you are not. You would not be here if you were. Tyrion, you risk your life and are an asset so valuable to this war. The wildfire is a brilliant idea."

Tyrion interrupted her, "It is but someone else could have led the men. As you say I do not have to be here. Yet I chose to do so because I am scared."

The queen recalled a conversation with lady Stark. The older woman called her brother a coward. "Your sister said you were a coward."

The man chuckled and poured wine, "Cersei and I were always too alike. We despised each other for years. She abhorred me for killing our mother. I loathed her for not being mine."

Daenerys drank her wine, "but alas my sweetest sister and I have accomplished the impossible and repaired our filial bond." Tyrion commented.

"I have to admit I do not understand this conversation Tyrion." The queen continued.

"Cersei can see through me very clearly. I think is all these years of raising children. She has a special power. My sweet sister can tell lies from truths with an ease that would terrify everyone but lord Stark." The man said and drank the last of his wine. He filled his cup and hers once more.

"Consider this, my lovely wife is pregnant with my first child. She does not tell me until we set North. I am of course terrified of travelling with her. Sansa is convinced our child will be healthy. I am convinced that the babe will inherit my deformity. I agonize day and night until she gives birth. My child, and the future warden of the West is a Northerner born in Barrowtown. He is perfect, has my look but not my stature. He is a gorgeous lad, ten fingers, ten toes and beautiful blue eyes that would turn emerald green. A perfect Lannister babe. I am relieved and think nothing of it."

Daenerys followed the story and listened to his every word. "Sansa tells me she's pregnant again and I despair once more. This time however I have an excuse to leave and I do." He smiled sardonically. "My sister confronted me as soon as she learned of my behavior. I lied to her and myself. I spoke of duty, honor, family and Lannister courage. She saw right through me and called me out on my cowardice."

The queen poured the wine the time and placed the sheepskin bag close to the fire. They drank and Tyrion spoke once more. "She begged me to not leave her. My Sansa begged me to not be foolish. She blamed herself for getting pregnant. She knew, of course she knew." He mused.

Daenerys dared ask, "Why did you leave her?"

Tyrion looked at her and replied with raw, naked honesty. "The idea of having a child like me terrifies me. The mere thought that I could watch my Sansa die on the birthing chamber is so overwhelming that I preferred to leave her side before seeing her die like that. I was scared, terrified and still are that history would repeat itself. I am however more petrified of becoming the beast that my father was. I could so very easily become him and loathe my child for killing Sansa and daring to live." The man said sadly. "So I fled and I regret it with all my heart. But at the same time there is that part of my brain that tells me I did the right thing."

"Have you ever loved someone so much that the thought of being away or them not being with you hurts you?" The man asked her.

"Yes, it feels like emptiness and it physically hurts when you are away from them" The queen said. She missed Jon and wanted to see his face and feel his beard against her cheek.

"I feel Sansa's absence here." He touched his stomach. I would give anything to see her smile once more."

Daenerys felt for the man. "She will forgive you. Sansa loves you and the gods will give you a healthy babe. Even if he were like you he would be lucky to have you as a father. I have seen you with little Jon and Sansa. I bet that you would take a look at your babe and be smitten with him or her. Sansa will not die. Tyrion, have you seen that girl. She is healthy and will push your child like it was nothing."

Tyrion drank with her and chuckled, "you truly are magnificent."

The queen giggled, "Thank you my lord." She replied. They drank some more.

The man was on his cups and grew bold, "May I ask my queen a question?"

"You may my lord." She replied with a smile.

"How does it feel to ride a dragon?" He asked with an awed voice. "As a boy in Casterly Rock I read all about them. I wanted a dragon every nameday. I wished very hard for one to take me and spirit me away to some adventure."

Daenerys laughed, "I do not know if I can put it into the correct words. It feels like you are invincible. It is exhilarating, a rush of power and happiness. Drogon and I become one in the air. I know how to lead him. My children know what to do when I am with them in the sky. It is a very special connection."

Tyrion looked pensive, "you speak of your dragons like my nephews speak of their direwolves. Well, none of them can fly but they speak of smelling blood, of hunting."

Daenerys laughed. Jon told her once that sometimes he was Ghost in his dreams. He could feel what Ghost felt and loved the hunt at night. "I suppose we have a strong connection to our sigils."

Tyrion laughed as well, "Sansa calls me her lion. A brave lion."

The queen took his hand and spoke clearly. "You will be back to her. Sansa is a sweet girl and deserves to have you and her children by her side."

"The hour grows late my queen. I must retire. I thank you for the wine and the fine company." Tyrion rose and waddled out of her tent.

Daenerys tried to sleep without much success. Her moonblood stopped two days before they reached the Fist. Tyrion visited her nightly and she enjoyed his company. They spoke of her dragons and the history of Westeros. Tyrion was a very well read man. Daenerys hoped to continue their lessons once they went back to Castle Black and Winterfell. Ser Barristan and Jorah had told her about some of Westeros. She found that they were lacking. They were warriors and could tell her only so much. They were not enough as Viserys has not been. She wanted to learn more about her kingdoms. Tyrion was ideal for the role of teaching her until she traveled back to King's Landing.

They were to arrive in a few hours. Her children were nearby. They were ready to bid her commands. Tyrion escorted her to her horse and mounted his horse too. Daenerys admired his ingenuity. This was a smart man, cunning and able. They travelled and could see the armies as soon as after an hour of journey.

Daenerys wore her riding garments. One of Sansa's confections; it was a black and had her sigil embroidered with black leather. They reached the vanguard encampment by nightfall.

Jorah greeted her first, "Khaleesi, your commanders await you."

They entered the tent and there they were. All the Stark men, Greatjon Umber, Aegon, and Jorah. All huddled to around a desk with maps and scrolls. She saw the direwolves eating some meat. They growled and played with each other for the meat.

"We start in the morrow. The wildfire is placed; our spotters have seen the white walkers approaching. We will start the attack, Jon and I will set first. Robb and Tommen will follow on the sides. Jorah will lead his unsullied. Greatjon will follow with the rest of his men. Prince Aegon will lead last." Lord Stark looked up and saw her.

"My queen will lead her children once I give Tyrion the signal." Lord Stark elaborated, "My banners will retreat, as will the men. That will be our signal as well as the queen's. Your grace will circle the area once. That will give us time to retreat as much as possible. You will rain fire on the Night King and his armies. We will attack once more this time we will have the Night's Watch to finish all of them off. We have enough men. We could be victorious once and for all." Lord Stark finished.

Greatjon and Aegon had some questions that the Warden of the North answered quickly. Daenerys looked at Jon longingly and wished for his embrace. Lord Stark dismissed them all but his eldest son. "Jon stay here. We have to talk about your men." The man said. So Aegon led her to her tent. He kissed her cheek, "We probably will not see each other in the morrow." Her nephew said and hugged her. A true hug, unlike all the pleasant adulations that he usually spouted off.

Daenerys hugged him back. "Stay safe, I wish you would ride Viserion." She insisted once again. He held her closer. It was not sexual; it was never sexual. They were not attracted to each other in the least.

"No, I will ride. I am to be their leader. They have to see that I lead. They have to see that I am just like my father and you, a true Targaryen." Aegon sounded so young. He was older than her but yet so unlived.

She kissed his forehead. He was taller than her but somehow seemed younger and more fragile than her. Daenerys once more realized that he was a child. "You will be as valiant as Rhaegar and all of our ancestors."

He grinned and was all white teeth and violet eyes. "Sleep well." She said and went to her tent. It was a cold night, winter was here. She shivered and waited for him. She heard noise outside. She heard Aegon's voice "slowly move away from him. Slowly."

She heard the men quiet and stepped out of the tent. Her children were around her and circled the tent. She spoke Valyrian to them, "Stand down." Viserion and Rhaegal obeyed and laid on the snow. She rubbed their heads. Drogon circled above her, "Come down sweetling." Drogon hissed but did so and laid between Rhaegal and Viserion.

It was a blessing the men did not set any tents around her at all. It was customary to give her the space. Usually Aegon and Jorah would set camp near her but they had not because they would ride and oddly enough did not sleep before battle. Years later she would find that the Starks did not sleep either, many great warriors did not.

The men around her drew swords. "Sheath your weapons my children have come to keep me warm." Daenerys said with a smile. Aegon bowed and patted Viserion. "See you in the morning." He whispered and left.

Jon would not be joining him then. No man would get near her with her children around. They were fire made flesh. Drogon breathed fire near the tent to keep her warm. She smiled and did not need for furs any longer. She tried to keep to herself and then thought of leaving the tent and looking for Jon. So strong was her wish to see him and be with him that she got past Drogon and Rhaegal only for them to follow her three feet. They would follow her from now on until she was in a keep. It was almost time for battle and her children could sense it.

Daenerys went back to her tent and undressed. She enjoyed the warmth of her tent but did not sleep. She kept thinking of Jon and how much she needed him to be with her now. They had little opportunity to be together.

Jon always surprised her. He always would. She heard rustling in front of her tent and in he came. She grinned and he grinned back. "Don't move, stay there. It is bloody hot." He undressed quickly, off went his leathers, swords, and boots.

"The perks of having dragons as my children." She said and kissed him hello when he climbed to bed with her.

They kissed and smiled. Daenerys touched his cheek, "how did you get past the children?"

Jon looked serious. "Took me an hour to gather the courage to get near. Viserion was aslept and I only had to move quickly. Rhaegal looked at me and moved its wing to sleep better. Now, Drogon was the real challenge he blew smoke my way. I had to retreat and speak a very rusty Valyrian to get in here."

Daenerys arched an eyebrow, "Do you speak Valyrian?"

Jon played with her hair, "Not very well, not much really, only a bit." He looked away

She moved closer to him, "tell me how do you know Valyrian my lord?"

"Because of uncle Tyrion and Joanna." Jon said after she kissed him and bit his lower lip.

She chuckled, "Tell me how? And what did you tell my Drogon?"

Jon relented after some more kissing. "Drogon looked ready to eat me."

Daenerys smiled widely, "You would not be here if he wanted to eat you."

Jon pouted, "I just bypassed a dragon to be near you. I think you should be swooning at my bravery."

The queen laughed, "oh how valiant of my lord Stark."

Jon attacked her neck and moved above her. He kissed her breathless, "if you must absolutely know. I told Drogon that you wanted me. He blew smoke and moved his tail out of the way."

Daenerys, "My children are well behaved." She teased him and closed her eyes when he kissed her lower and lower.

She moaned and pulled him up after a mind-blowing orgasm. "I want slow, gentle." Daenerys whispered close to his ear.

Jon smiled, "I would have you no other way tonight." He rasped and softly ran his fingers over her sides.

He kissed her hips, licked her belly button and then bit her ribs. "I love you." He said while suckling her teats. Daenerys opened her legs to make room for him. Jon gazed at her and then moved her leg up. He entered her with the practice ease that they had. She gasped and kissed his neck. They moved slowly until she felt him pick up his pace. Daenerys bit his neck and came around him. Jon spilled inside her too.

They were a sweaty mass of limbs. "Sleep my love." She said while cradling his head on her chest. They slept easy. Daenerys slept very well that night and so did Jon.

She woke up to the sounds of men moving around. The camp noises. She moved to the side and snuggled some more into Jon. He usually embraced her at night, his back against any door. He said he would always protect her. She sighed and kissed his chest. "Wake up my love. You have to get dressed." He kissed her forehead and brought her close.

"Our queen speaks truly. Get up and get dressed." A voice said from a distance. Daenerys covered herself with some furs and Jon jumped out of bed.

Lord Stark looked at them with angry eyes. He threw Jon his breeches, "I will see you in my tent in fifteen minutes." Lord Stark then looked at her and bowed, "Your grace." Eddard Stark left her tent.
