An information network 2/2

[Third person POV]

In a pitch dark street stood 3 tall men all wearing ebony black clothing that hid their facial expressions and general features on their face that could be used to identify them. The three of them were quite suspicious but fortunately they chose this street carefully after months upon months of planning. 

These 3 wanted to find out who murdered their comrade. 

"Let's go other the plan one more time." One of them spoke with a tone befitting a confidant leader. 

"Right. So we first need to gather evidence of how the murderer did it without being caught by the Shinobi. This is what Shiro is for. A distraction with that Fireball ability of his." The person who was probably the strategist said nonchalantly.

"Katon: Gokakyu is the actual name of the technique and it's not the only Jutsu I know. I know a few more Katon techniques and the academy 10." Shiro spoke with confidence in the abilities he managed to acquire during his tenure as a Konoha Shinobi of the Chunin rank. 

"Why did you leave any way's?" The planner asked curious of the mans decision to leave the Shinobi forces.

"I had my arm tendon in my right arm partially severed in a way that disabled my ability to mold chakra there even if I was one of the few people who had the control and flexibility necessary for one handed seals I wasn't proficient in it yet." Shiro answered deciding to get it out of the way as they still had a mission to accomplish.

"Continue explaining the plan you made." Shiro vocalized. 

"After the Shinobi believes that the village is under attack me and Ren will enter the warehouse and start searching for clues." The man spoke.

Unbeknownst to them however was that everything was going according to the watchers plan as she had just gained vital intel but would also love the idea of putting the village in danger getting the 3rd stressed.

After all this would put the Sandaime on guard should anything else happen afterwards.

That begged the question on how this never happened in canon however she had already changed quite a lot since coming to this world so perhaps this was the consequences of what is commonly referred to as the butterfly effect.

"Either that or this Kakeru was the guy I killed months ago." 

She thought to herself but held the thought as an idea began to form from those thoughts then she made counter measures and then counter measures to those counter measures before making a plan 2 all the way to plan 400 each with counter measures to counter measures to them.

She did this in less than a millisecond. 

Her brain stopped it's planning process as she looked forwards gathering more information  in the process.

"Right then so should we begin." The man stated as Kei formed a singular Kage Bunshin sending them off to tail the other 2 with a certain order. She went and followed the former Shinobi with creamy white hair.

[Kei main body POV]

I scanned my surroundings with an observational ability better then those with 3rd tomoe Sharingan or so I've been told by Jin Sensei. I noted that the environment was at the civilian's training grounds. Also referred to as Training grounds 1. 

It had several sport based spots like a swimming pool and Basketball courts. There was also an Olympic sized running track there that was used for running. Several academy children who are serious about the career they are going into also seem to come here to do training by swimming in the pool with breaststroke. 

Contrary to what you may think swimming is actually one of the best ways of increasing one's strength and speed especially breaststroke. Why was this the case? Swimming involves all of your core muscles something other sports do not offer. Going to the gym also does not do this as one might expect as you go there to work on how big your muscles were which severely slows you down. Granted I could think of a few ways to train all muscles at the gym.

Now as for why breaststroke is good for training well it is because of the drag created by the arms and legs whilst swimming forcing you to work harder to compensate or learn technique to generate less of this drag. It was because of this fact that the Whiteroom made me, Kiyotaka, Kana and the failures did it a lot more then other physical exercises. 

Wait why was I distracting myself with such meaningless thoughts?

I saw the former Shinobi make his onto the track and begin to make one handed hand seals. His almost black grey hair fluttered slightly in the wind as his eyes showed a profound amount of contentment. His eyes went through a whirlwind of emotions actually. Sorrow, Determination, Hatred, Contentment. 

It was almost comical to me at how his emotions showed themselves. 

After all emotions were what made one susceptible to manipulation at the end of the day. 

I watched as he closed his eyes as he breathed in. My eyes widened when his hands didn't move but rather he shoot out a ball of flames that vaporised the air around it shoot out of his move. They returned to normal shortly after but I was amazed by the control that the man just displayed. 

Well time to get going. 

My form changed as I used the Henge to change my height and physical appearance alongside smell. I then went over to the man as I prepared myself in case this plan went south. 

"Let's talk." I spoke in an assertive tone.

"Who are you and what do we have to talk about?" He immediately questioned as soon as he jumped backwards.

"I know who you are and why you are here. I also am aware of the name and identity of Ken's killer." I went for the attack immediately

"Hmm is that so." He stated slowly. "Tell me why am I here?" He asked.

"Your identity is Shiro former Chunin of Konoha and you plan to fake an attack here with that fireball of yours so your allies can gather information regarding Ken's killer. Information I hold." I spoke making every word that left my mouth crucial to my plan's success.

"What how? Wait tell me the identity of his killer>" His emotions began to cloud his judgement as soon as his composure broke.

But I was expecting him to be more capable then this. Well it makes getting him as a new pawn easier.

"Before I tell you must do something for me." I calmly said holding all the cards in this situation. 

"What is it? I'll do everything." 

Pathetic just pathetic. He was so easily swayed that it was a wonder as to how he was ever promoted to Chunin. But in the end I suppose this is where having emotions got you.

They made you weak. They made you vulnerable. They made you a loser. They made you illogical and irrational. At the end of the day the Whiteroom's core philosophies were right. Emotions were unnecessary no matter how talented an individual no matter how much power the individual held. As long as we have emotions we cannot achieve victory. 

I suppose I should be grateful then. 

"You'll do everything I say when I say it. No questions asked." I sent my conditions to the pathetic excuse of a man.

"Yes I will do everything so please tell me." 

"Mikumo Akitani. That is the name of the woman that killed your partner." I stated hinting that I knew something more than he realized.

"How did you know about that?" He asked before realizing that he confirmed my suspicion.

No person would be this susceptible to manipulation unless the person being manipulated cared deeply for the other person. 

In other words Shiro and Ken were lovers. 

"Your actions suggested that there was something more to me. Then you confirmed it yourself." I replied before he looked at me in surprise.

"Right I already have a job for you and this is beneficial to your group as well. Mikumo is located there after all. I want you to go to the land of waves and gather intel regarding Gato the founder of the Gato company." I stated making sure he knew the task I delegated to his group before preparing to leave. "Leave before the Shinobi arrive." I left fully after all I didn't need to see his reaction to the lie I created. 

After all I was the one who killed Ken.

(A/N this took longer to finish then I thought both because I think it wasn't good enough to release and College starting back up. And also the scene I envisioned wasn't as dark as I wanted it to be so there's that. Really I wanted it to be way darker as for what Shadow clone Kei did with the other 2 well she did something similar to them as she did with Shiro).
