Binding

Isaac and Val got back to their room while Isaac kept pestering Val for details on what happened to him. After a long explanation Isaac finally understood but he had 1 major question for Val.

How were you not scared or terrified of the giant monster made of darkness Isaac asked while him and Val sat down on their bed.

I honestly don't know Val replied. It was like I wasn't allowed to be scared. Like something within me was disgusted at the idea of it.

Maybe it is your dragon bloodline Isaac asked. After all dragons are known as very prideful creatures.

Val nodded. That makes sense I guess although I don't really like the idea of my thoughts and emotions being changed.

I guess it is just one of the prices of the power we gained Isaac said. I am just glad that you are safe. 

Me too Val replied while putting his forehead against Isaac's and sighed in satisfaction. 

As they sat there just enjoying each others presence they suddenly felt a spark between their foreheads. They both jerked back in surprise before wondering what that was. They tried to cause it to happen again but nothing happened even after waiting for 20 minutes. They decided to just ignore it before sitting together on the bed and began to gather origin energy. 

Without even realizing it more than 5 hours had passed while they sat there together in a meditative state. Soon they woke up before going to shower, get a small meal to eat and then went to bed for the day. As this was going on William was taking care of the black book.

In the main library stood William constantly casting various spells around the black book. It screamed in anger and frustration but he simply ignored it and continued. Eventually he finished his casting as more than a hundred magic circles were spread in the air around the book. It kept trying to escape but William made sure that the book couldn't escape. The magic circles shot out chains of light that wrapped around the book slowly binding it shut. The chains fused together to make stronger chains and then continued wrapping around the book. Finally the book was fully bound and became completely silent. William grabbed it before walking over to a part of the floor where he placed his hand on the ground and inserted some of his energy. A small circle on the floor began to glow before it began to rise out of the ground revealing a bookshelf full of books like the small black book in his hand. There were thousands of them, all of them bound in golden chains and trapped in the bookshelf. He quickly found an empty space on the bookshelf before placing the book on there and then making the bookshelf sink back into the floor. He sighed in relief before sitting at the main desk and waited for anyone to come to the library. After awhile he finally decided to just close up the library for the day and go sleep.

Walking back to his room he spoke to himself. God I feel so exhausted from just a simple sealing ritual. I need more strength but this damn curse is making it difficult. William punched the wall in frustration causing the room to shake and a fist sized hole to be made on the wall before it quickly went back to normal. With a sigh he laid down in bed. I can't even protect my only family in this world because of this weakness. Even worse I can't speak to them about it. As he slowly drifted to sleep a tear formed in his eye before falling down onto his pillow. 

The next day everyone met in the key room like normal however William told them to save one of the keys for something else. Isaac kept his key and after they finished with sending out the invitations William led the two of them towards the summoning room while explaining. 

So as you have probably realized we are in need of some other workers for the library William began. To do that we need to use the summoning room you built. Usually it is used to summon spirits that bind to one of the 3 energy temples in your body but with the key we are able to summon beings from various worlds and the different planes that exist. The library will search for someone who will accept the invitation before giving them a contract. If they accept than they will be summoned here and will help us run the library. They are like normal workers and are able to leave the library to return home if they wish and may also terminate their contract with us although that rarely happened in the past. With the current level of the library we can only have up 3 workers summoned but as the library improves the limit will increase.

Soon they reached the summoning room and headed inside. They didn't see anything except a complex magic circle on the ground with a small keyhole in the middle. William took charge explaining how to go about summoning before he began charging the magic circles with energy. Since they didn't use the Energy Coins to activate the room they had to use their own energy to activate things. Isaac walked to the middle of the circle before squatting down and inserting the key into the hole in the middle of the circle. The key sat there as he joined William back at the edge. William asked them for help gathering energy so they quickly joined in as they placed their hands on the edge of the circle before closing their eyes and gathering the origin energy. Instead of pulling the energy into their body they forced it towards the circle. Their help wasn't much but it was enough to relieve some of the burden off of William.

After around an hour of gathering the energy and pouring it into the magic circle the circle finally began to activate. The key in the middle quickly dispersed into particles of light as the circle glowed brightly.
