Raijin Island #1

While Alyssia was causing a slight disturbance on Punk Hazard and then followed the Vivre Card back towards her crew members, there was another problem that happened on Raijin Island as they were preparing to dock.

A small boat went towards them from the island which had a single person inside which was an elderly woman who had some similarities to a witch.

She arrived by the ships that had stopped near the island and spoke. "Would you like an umbrella?"

Many of the crew had found her offer a little strange and they couldn't help but be reminded of Alyssia's warning not to let their guard down in the New World.

K1 scanned the umbrella in the possession of the old lady and spoke in a warning tone. "This umbrella has been specifically designed to attract thunder and lightning strikes towards you all if you hold onto it. It is recommended that you use the weather umbrellas prepared by the master."

Yvie, Ann and Aizah's faces turned pale as they thought of the danger they had avoided while Liushi looked angrily towards the old woman. "You.. how could you?"

Just as he was about to cause a scene so early on, Jester pulled him away and then bowed elegantly as he put on his usual smile that never changed. "Thank you for the offer but I have to refuse it. We brought our own umbrellas so all that we require is an escort."

The old lady looked a little surprised but quickly hid her emotions as she grinned happily the next moment. "Of course, come! Come! Follow me!"

It was as if she was just an ordinary old lady with nothing but good intentions towards them but they had known the truth.

If Alyssia had been there then she would describe the scene as something similar to the old lady offering Snow White a poisoned apple and then punish the old lady for her bad intentions towards her crew but since she was not there, they were forced to take every one of their movements with caution.

Sunila and Nica almost opened fire upon the old lady due to their impulsiveness but Jester was able to keep calm and settle things quickly as he turned to them. "Lets go!"

Ting and Ton appeared carrying many different types of weather umbrellas and they started handing them out to others one after another but the float powers were the most useful to help passing everyone one of them as they flew into everyones hand.

The ships were docked outside the island and many had remained on board to watch over them but many had gotten on the wooden boats as they sailed towards the island.

On each of the wooden sail boats was a large amount of devices that were used to store electrical energy which they planned to bury on the island for to gain more energy for to decrease the burden on the Minks to power all of the equipment on board.

K1 entered the island with Liushi, Sunila, Yvie, Jester and Ann while Val, Li, Ting, Ton, Aizah, Nica and Archie remained to watch over the fleet of ships but many of the other crew members followed along.

What greeted many of them were many cheerful people of many ages who were excited to see new visitors but their eyes often travelled to the strange umbrellas which were carried by the White Storm crew members.

Very quickly the welcoming party began as each person was lured in and split apart.

Jester and many other young men were surrounded by many young ladies who complimented their looks, Yvie and the many other younger children were given some food and treats as they played a couple of party games, Sunila and other archers played a target shooting game together, Ann was forced to sing with the performers while Liushi and others were given lots of alcohol.

Many of the people who were behind the scheme had expected everyone to tire themselves out or make themselves too full or drunk so that they would go into a deep sleep but it was way out of their expectations.

Yvie and the other children had lived on the food from Boin Archipelago which brings out the gluttony to those that eat them and knew how to control themselves well enough to not fall for such a trick while many others had kept up their guard the entire time.

The only person to fall for the trap was Liushi who had gotten too drunk along with a couple of others who had a lower alcohol tolerance.

Jester was quick to notice their disappearance as he checked in on him and followed the trail left behind as he sent out his Observation Haki.

Not long after, he found several people being tied down by metal wires which was connected to many types of poles which had been placed around the surroundings where there were many burn marks in a human shape.

Jester looked at the scene in front of him and gasped. "Too cruel.. Snatch!"

Many weapons started appearing in his hands as he started throwing them towards the people who tried to tie those they had captured down on the ground in the middle of the wires and poles that had been setup for a long time.

The people let out screams and yelled for help as their limbs were cut or impaled from Jester's attacks.

They were subdued very quickly and a knife appeared under the neck of one of the people who seemed to be in charge. "What is this? What were you planning on doing?"
