Creation #3

Every scientist had the freedom to tread onto their desired path leading them to discover new possibilities and moving forward to create new things, if they cannot finish that path..

Their findings will be passed on to the next generation to complete that path or find their own possibilities with what they have learned from those before them.

The cycle continues not just in science but with many fields that have progressed through countless generations of experimentation and refinement.

Just when someone believes they have reached the end what is called perfection, there would be someone new to later discover a new possibility within keeping this endless cycle going.

So long as the knowledge is passed down, the descendants can continue to walk down this path but if it is cut off altogether…

People rebuild, the cycle starts again to learn, create and pass it on to others.

So long as intelligent lifeforms exist, even if ancient kingdoms with supreme power once existed with advances in wisdom, intelligence and progression and had perished only to leave nothing behind..

There would be someone who could discover the fragments of that destruction and begin to create anew from that destruction.

Even if they did not have the guidance of the past, if they were willing to explore and learn with enough perseverance and passed it onto their descendants or their students, there was always a chance of a similar kingdom forming again from that small seed of creation.

It is a very slow process that can be reset many times before reaching the end which can be seen as perfection where there has not been a single person to find a single flaw or another possible path ahead.

Often times because of that perfection, the reset is destined to happen because too much has been discovered.

Not everything being discovered is necessarily a good thing, the management of knowledge and the more harmful parts always need to be strictly guarded to prevent the eventual self destruction.

Knowledge can be perfected to the extreme but not people, they are imperfect and make mistakes.

Someone or many people lead by greed, anger, jealousy or pride will step forward and bring forth that destruction one day and it is something inevitable when there are more advances in science in particular.

The more advanced the civilisation, the higher destructive power their weapons and the more damage they can cause even if most are well intentioned, they may not survive because of that one individual or group.

A similar story passed through the ears of those within Baldimore like an omen of a bad future but it found its place within the scientific union causing many great unrest.

It made many question themselves and if they were truly walking the pass of creation or destruction, if what they believed in was right or wrong.

Would they bring great destruction and trample on the knowledge that had been passed down by their ancestors if they did not stop and question what they were doing at this time.

Many of them were lead by their hatred, greed, envy towards the man named Vegapunk so upon joining the group, they did not question the groups goals since they had found others like them and their leader gave them a way forward even if he had restricted them somewhat and left out many key details.

They couldn't help but think back to their earlier years where they had more freedom to build what they wanted and had fun making new discoveries.

Now they had to follow the leaders vision only and build what he wishes and work to create what he has envisioned.

Many worked long hours and had no time to work on their own experiments anymore.

Their freedom had been taken away without their knowing and they had not questioned it because they had believed in the leader.

Many who no longer believed that stuck around only stayed because of pride, if they went back on their decision over some indecision or small feelings then all that they had sacrificed would be for nothing.

There may even be those who flourish under the leader after they leave so they chose to stay a little longer each time.

A lot of doubt, unease and anxiety was spread within the union very quickly, although some laughed it off they could not deny that the possibility of it happening.

—————————

Several days after the Alyssia entered the scientific union and spreading many warnings among the people, she sat in a room with several people with a cup of tea. "This will have to do… since you do not have any alcohol, tea will have to replace it. I will be the first to announce the opening of the Creation Union as opposed to the ideals of the Scientific Union. Our first move has already been made and following that we will take advantage of the weak hearted within the group and pull them over. As a group we need our own ground rules on what we should and should not create and additional things that we should follow within the group. For example if someone's research is dangerously close to something that can cause great harm to many, a public vote will be held with that person involved to decide if what they are making could prove to be a benefit or not and if everyone is willing to take the risk. If the research goes ahead still, it will be monitored closely but if it is denied, that person's research may be confiscated and locked in a place nobody can see or is destroyed. That person will also be monitored for some time to see if they have a problematic personality and if they continue to pursue that research alone or with others. Something like a council vote for the future of the union and how it will progress. So what do you think any ideas?"

Nica sighed as she looked at Alyssia. "There are some grey areas that can be mentioned or ignored in the fields of science but if we wish to be opposed to destruction then we have to focus on building and creating good things to provide a future for others. Not things to destroy them… so if we are to build weapons of any kind then we should avoid anything that causes large scale death and destruction within a short time."

Ashwin looked up and spoke. "So no explosives or fire based weapons?"

Ein replied in a tired voice. "Small scale ones may be allowed if designed to create a small blast to create an opening somewhere and fire tools may be used by others in other ways but flamethrower weapons are too destructive and bring great harm if used by the wrong people. I do not think it is wrong to research such things only as a way to prevent tragedies, if diseases or poisons are an example then we must discover a way to overcome them."

Trafalga Law was a living example of what could happen if many came to burn many people, he had to watch and listen to the deaths of many until he finally escaped from his homeland.

Although the weapons were very effective and dangerous to enemies, if not well managed and protected they could harm the person carrying it too.

Alyssia nodded. "Mm.. chemical, poisonous, disease and explosions would always be a threat to many people and even a whole civilisation capable of wiping them out. It would be unwise to make too many advances in those fields unless it is to counter any dangers."
