Deal...

"Another one, off the list." The assassin crossed out the name of the man he just killed on his book. "Now then, what can I do for you... the boss of Night Raid?"

A woman who looks to be in her mid 20's, wearing an eye patch with short, silver hair and purple eyes while also having a mechanical right arm, walked out of the shadow. "I'm surprise that you knew I was here."

"I'm always on guard, giving how infamous I am..." The assassin nonchalantly said.

"Oh? I thought you would immediately try to attack me then." The woman smirked.

"We aren't enemies... After all, we're both fighting for the same thing... aren't we?" The assassin looked at her with one of his eyebrows raised.

"That is true. Which why I want to invite you to join the Night Raid." The woman replied.

"Hmmm, why should I? I work alone and more efficiently. While also without having the need to always lookout for an ally in trouble. What exactly will I gain in return?" The assassin asked.

The woman sighed "It is true that you are skilled while also keeping your face hidden... however what happens when you face a group or an army of soldiers? Even with how skilled you are, you'll get tired and shortly after... you'll be captured, or most likely killed."

The assassin shrugged, "Then so be it, I got nothing else to lose. Dying while fighting for the greater good doesn't sound so bad."

"Then, what will it take for you to join the night raid?" The woman thought that the assassin wants something else rather than allies and protection to join them.

"Hmmm" The assassin thought for a bit on what he could possibly need. "If I'll join on your group I have five things that I want."

"Name them and we'll see if I can satisfy your demands" The woman replied, hoping the assassin won't ask too much.

"First, I want to decide if I'll join with your group or go solo on your missions. Don't get me wrong... I know how skilled your group is, but I still like going solos on missions, especially infiltration ones." The assassin eyed narrowed.

"That's fine, I also know how skilled you are, giving your kill count. What's the other four?" The woman nodded understanding the first demand is reasonable.

"Second, I don't want to stay in your base all the time. I have my own identity during the day. If you're worried about me being followed to your base, then you're worried for nothing. I don't allow myself to be followed unless I want them too."

The woman thought about it for a while and finally replied, "That's doable... but I would like to be informed every time you'll leave the base."

The assassin nodded, "I will do that, and I won't always be gone in the day. Anyways, for the third one, I'm looking for some old friends of mine. I heard he went to the capital to make a living." The assassin threw a piece of paper softly towards the woman. "I just need to make sure they doesn't do anything stupid... That's what they looks like."

The woman caught the paper with ease and took a look of the person he was talking about. "Alright, that seems easy enough. I'll have a couple of people to look for them. And the final two?"

"For the final two... I would like it to favors for the future." The assassin replied with a bit of seriousness in his voice.

The woman eyes narrowed for a bit. "Fine, is that all?"

The assassin nodded. "If you can abide by all of them, that I hope to be in good hands." The assassin approached with his hand out for a handshake to make the deal official.

The woman looked at his hand, and shook it firmly. She said with a smile. "Welcome to the Night Raid."
