"Welcome to the Night Raid."

"I hope your group doesn't cause me a lot of trouble, boss" The assassin replied.

"The names Najenda, or you can call me boss if it suits you better. Should I keep calling you the Red Eye Demon or do you want to tell your name?" The woman or rather Najenda asked with a bit of curiosity to his name.

"Kakashi, just call me that. I hate the nickname the people call me..." The man had a face of disgust thinking about the name of the people calling him.

"Haha! Alright, Kakashi I'm heading back to the base, since you took my target already. I'll introduce them to you when we're there." Najenda laughed and started leaping from building to building.

Kakashi followed silently after her while thinking. 'This woman is fast... I wonder where are you guys in this rotten capital.'

After a few hours of heading towards their base. I saw a woman with black hair who seems to be roasting a giant piece of meat on top of the fire... Not weird at all.

"Boss, you're back. Who's that person behind you?" The girl who looks like she is still a teenage with long black hair that reaches down to her knees and has red eyes.

Najenda replied while pointing towards Kakashi. "This is the infamous Red Eye Demon, who is now apart of the Night Raid, Akame." Najenda took a small piece of meat on a bone after Akame offered her some. "He also took out my target before I even arrived there, which is why I'm back a bit earlier as usual."

Akame eyed Kakashi who still hasn't removed his masked before offering some meat as well. "Here, since you are with us."

Kakashi seeing Najenda taking a bit of her meat accepted the girl's offer. "Thanks, and the names Kakashi."

Akame nodded and took a seat continuing to roast the big piece of meat. Seeing that Akame is busy, Kakashi sat beside Najenda while silently looking at the piece of meat.

Najenda seeing this laughed. "Haha! What's wrong? Don't like showing your face?"

Kakashi frowned and faced his body away from Akame and Najenda. Taking his mask down and started eating his food.

"Guess you don't want to reveal your face, huh?" Najenda asked staring at his back.

"Not yet, when everyone's here I'll reveal it. Also I hear some shouting... I'll disappear into the shadows for now." Kakashi disappeared shortly after hearing the noise.

'After hearing them talk about Akame, I pity her a bit... but one of them sounds familiar.' Kakashi thought since he can't see them due to the giant meat in front of them.

"Oh! Boss!" A girl who seems to be in her early 20s had short blonde hair with two long tufts that framed the sides of her head and golden eyes.

As the two woman were having their greetings Kakashi eyes widened to see a boy who is in his teens with green eyes and medium length brown hair with a cowlick that falls with its weight. 

'Tatsumi...' That was Kakashi first thought and remembering the memories he had with him along with two others, before pulling back to reality due to Najenda using her mechanical arm to grab the blonde hair girl and dragging her towards her after trying to run away.

"I wouldn't recommend taking too much pleasure in fighting. It's a habit you should try to break." Najenda said while slowly dragging the girl towards her.

"Okay! Just stop reeling me in!" The blonde girl yelled.

"Anyway, who is this young man?" Najenda fully retracted her arm and looked towards Tatsumi.

After the blond girl recommends Tatsumi to join the Night Raid, Najenda asked Akame to gather everyone.

As Najenda was walking away, Kakashi followed after her in the shadows.

In a room with all of the assassins gathered and hearing the report of Tatsumi's situation.

"I see. I understand the situation completely. Tatsumi... Would you like to join Night Raid?" Najenda asked after understanding the situation.

"I'm dead if I decline, right?" Tatsumi replied with a hint of fear in his voice.

"No, that's not going to happen. But we can't let you go back, so we'll have you work as a laborer in our workshop. At any rate, you won't die even if you decline. Given that... What do you think?" Najenda asked after ensuring the boy won't die if he declines.

Kakashi was silently listening to the conversation while also feeling sad to hear two of his friends died to the rotten nobles. 'Damn it... I knew I should've gone after that family instead...' 

Kakashi cringed at the words of Tatsumi hearing him say assassins of justice. 

Everyone laughed at his words, except Kakashi as no one but Najenda knows is with them.

After Najenda welcomed Tatsumi to the night raid, she has something else to say. 

"Red Eye Demon come out, I think its time for you to be known by them" Najenda called out.

Kakashi who seemingly appeared out of nowhere appeared beside Tatsumi with his hands up and chuckled. "Guess that's one way to call me out."

Everyone in the room except Najenda, Tatsumi and Akame, drew out their weapons readying themselves, should a fight happen.

"Everyone stand down, he's not here to fight. As of today his part of the Night Raid, as I personally invited him." Najenda immediately stated.

Hearing this, everyone who drew their weapons put them away and sighed in relief as they didn't want to fight the Red Eye Demon after knowing all of his kill count.

Kakashi took his mask down from his mouth and said with a casual tone. "Yo! The name's Kakashi, it will be pleasure working aside you. I hope you don't annoy me a lot." 

Tatsumi eyes widened, "Ka... Kakashi..." Tatsumi eyes were moistening a bit after seeing his last living old friend in front him and immediately hugged him.

Tatsumi slowly hugged him back understanding the emotions going through the boy who just lost two of his old friends but also seeing the last living old friend in the same night. "Yo Tats... been a while."

*cough* *cough*

After hearing some coughs from the boss, the two men separated from each other looking towards Najenda.

"Is he one of the friends you were looking for, Kakashi?" Najenda asked seeing that both boys know each other." After receiving a short nod from him she continued. "Then the two other..."

"Were the two who died to the that rotten noble family" Kakashi finished her sentence with a venomous tone.

"I see... I'm sorry for your loss..." Najenda replied knowing how hurt he is in right now. "Akame, lead these two to their rooms as they need to rest after hearing both of their friends are no longer around."

Akame nodded and lead the boys to their rooms.

As Akame was about to lead them to their rooms the green hair boy in the room suddenly shouted that there were intruders near there base.

"Let me deal with them." Kakashi suddenly spoke before Najenda could give her orders. "I need to release some anger after all..." He trailed off with his voice turning slightly demonic.

Najenda nodded, "Alright, go and be safe."

Kakashi didn't say a word and disappeared from the room.

"Um boss, are you sure he can handle it? I mean, I know about his accomplishment but there are a lot-" The green haired boy suddenly stopped speaking with his eyes widened.

Najenda seeing this smirked, "It seems that he already dealt with all of them, Lubbock."

Kakashi reappeared into the room and scaring everyone except a few. He was covered in blood which doesn't seem to be his own blood. He said with one of his eyes having a red shaped star, "Boss, the intruders are dealt with and I also scouted to make sure others didn't follow them."

"Good work, Kakashi. Everyone go rest, tonight has been a busy one." Najenda left the room, while everyone followed after.

Kakashi and Tatsumi followed Akame's lead, showing them their rooms. Tatsumi entered his room and immediately went to bed as he was tired from the interaction from the assassins.

However, Kakashi suddenly stopped right in front of his door. Seeing this, Akame frowned a bit. "Kakashi... what's wrong?"

"Do you know, where Sayo and Leyasu's graves are?" Kakashi asked in a quiet voice.

"Yes, I'll lead you to them tomorrow." Akame responded understanding why Kakashi wanted to visit his friends' grave.

"Thank you... and good night, Akame." Kakashi gave a thankful nod before entering his room to rest.

Akame who stood there after Kakashi entered his room, smiled and walked towards her room.
