chapter 17 Addison pov

I was really happy that I got to meet him again , I didn't even think he would ask for my number after I insulted him so I kinda surprised he still wanted to talk to me. hey bestie, I immediately snapped out of my thoughts as I saw Amelia coming to meet me, "someone's is in a good mood today I teased" "what do you think" she repiled "of course I'm in a good mood, " "why what happened tell me I said while pulling her to a corner, "well if I must tell you she began I met this insanely handsome guy," where I asked curiously I bumped into him I didn't ask for his name tho "I was staring at him, his mesmerizing green eyes, " I was amused that Amelia could stare at somebody like that more so talk about him this kind of way. I was still happy for her tho maybe she could find a new boyfriend after her last break-up. "I just hope I can see him tomorrow" Amelia said breaking me from my thoughts "make sure you introduce me when you see him tomorrow okay?" "sure" she replied, we both walked out of school, talked and the rest of the way home, when I got home mom wasn't there so I figured she had gone out to buy groceries so I headed upstairs for my room and took a shower, did my home work quickly and started the staring contest with my phone, two hours had past and he hadn't called I was beginning to get anxious does he not plan on calling me I said to myself, just then I heard the door open from downstairs I figured it was mom,so I hurried downstairs to help bring in the groceries" hey sweetie hyd" fine mom I replied , "are you ok you seem unhappy about something did anything happen in your school?" she asked concerned I couldn't tell her I was upset because a boy hadn't called me yet so I just told her I had a little stomachache I helped mom unpack the groceries after which she told me to go rest. as soon as I headed into my room a beep came, I didn't even look at the caller I just put the phone in my ears and said, "what!!" the person repiled "ummmm it's me Kevin I don't think your in a good mood so I would call back later," my eyes widen as I heard his voice Addison can you use your head for once I said to my self I mentally slapped my self this was the second time I was being rude to him for no reason. "no it's fine it's just I didn't know you were the one calling and I have a really bad stomachache so that's why I had talked like that," I lied, i thought it was someone else calling I added again I hope he bought that. "ok then,have you taken your medicine?"he said "medicine for what" I replied "your stomachache" "ohh yh yh it just started getting better" I said "ok then make sure you rest more I should call you tomorrow you should rest," "ohhh ok" I repiled bye and ended the call, urgggh what's wrong with me why didn't I check the caller to see who it was,I don't even know how to face him Tomorrow, I buried my face in my pillow and sighed.

Kevin's pov

I didn't expect the call to go like that, maybe I shouldn't have called. I said don't talk like that she apologized already man, Jeff said I had called Jeff over and briefed him about my school,and told him about Addison, "at least now I don't think your crazy" he said giving me a smirk I could have punched him , "so when are you inviting her over,"are you crazy? "we don't know each other that well yet""I said "whatever men, just do what you need to do and make her your gf before somebody else will." "who said I want to make her my girlfriend," "you can lie to yourself but you can't" lie to me I know you like her l, "anyways gotta run , catch you later," I bade him goodbye but still pondered in what he said do I like her? can she like me back?, these questions were in my head the entire night.
