Ara was almost staggered by the power of the blow from the sudden attacker. But beyond the power of the attack, there was a strange vibration that pierced her shield and ran through her arm all the way to her shoulder. Before she even saw the grotesque face she knew it was a Rock Troll. Ara was far from as knowledgeable as Gregory or even Nee about the monsters of the world but Rock Trolls had been something brought up before. The hulking race was legendary not for their large powerful bodies or their regenerative abilities since that was common enough amongst trolls. But Rock Trolls possessed a unique ability to damage and destroy armor. Their attacks also dealt damage through armor with greater force than normal.
