Lex and the rest arrived at the Village smoothly without any problem, it was the common route, which cleaned regularly so there's no encounters with monsters either.

When they are about to reach the village they can see a bunch of rice fields and vegetable fields around the village

It was a rural village, many of their houses made with a stone foundation and wall of planks, you can see at a glance, they didn't have much technology either, electricity only used at lighting, fan, and radio, or small TV. There's almost no entertainment in this Village

When Lex accompany came to the village, many villagers showed up their heads in curiosity, no wonder in this kind of rural village, it's very rarely a tourist or visitor to visit the village, added by the car used by Lex and the rest, which looks sparkling in their eyes

(Maa~ at least their culture advanced enough not to reject an outsider in the blink of an eye)

"Excuse me, can you tell me where the village chief is?" Lex asked as he stopped his car beside the field and opened the car's window to ask some of the villagers

They didn't hesitate to answer either, (well, he's a bit shocked when he saw a teenager driving the car though)

"Over there" they replied, it's because it's customary for a visitor to first visit the village chief before they do something or stay in the village

"Thank you" Lex replied before he went to the village chief house right as Aria planned

Like the others, it was an old type house, but at least they made of stone and cement, even the roof made of roofing, whichever the case it was more advanced and the rest, which made it looks "ah, this is where the rich, or the official lived"

*ding *dong

Aria rang the doorbell

(ohh~! they even have a doorbell outside of their fence)

Before long the door was opened and a greasy fat-bellied old man came out, it was a mismatch between him and the environment, Lex and the rest thought ('how can someone have this kind of body in this kind of village') naturally they won't show it on the outside.

"Excuse me," Aria said in confusion, as the village chief suddenly stopped on his track

"Oooh~ I'm sorry I'm sorry, it's just too bright on the outside, I used to get dizzy by the sudden change of light" The village chief reasoned and he opened the fence "come in~~"

When the Village chief tried to touch Aria's back..., Lex gently pushed her from behind first, Lex put his hands on bewildered Aria's shoulder "gogogo!" he said like a child, luckily Aria had enough trust in Lex so she didn't react to it. "come on!" and Lex called the rest too. While the Village Chief struck frozen with a dry smile while closing and opening his palm.

On the way, Lex saw Mio glared coldly toward the Village Chief (wait!? Did she realize something?) Lex was able to see that cause he's afraid the same thing happened when she's passed the Village Chief

(Aria and Mio were both beautiful and cute, but if someone were to ask which one cuter, after hesitating for a while, 70% chance Mio would be the winner)

(That's is if she keeps her mouth shut, at least when she didn't laugh, but that's impossible! While Aria needs to express her emotion more!)

(Well, both were not something I need to think about in this situation)

As they entered the Village Chief house, Lex stopped for a second before he walked again

(It's a culture shock!?) Lex thought

Lex and the rest were offered a seat by the Village Chief

"What can I help you," The Village Chief said

"We're from Crimson Eagle, we come to deal with 'that'" Aria replied, while leaving all the negotiation and information gathering to Aria, Lex scanned their surroundings, there's very unlikely for them to be trapped here, but he still looks for a way to escape, that's what it means to be a scout

What Lex saw was like a culture shock, the exterior looks old a bit more advanced than the rest, but the interior was not like that, it's like an entirely different world if it were compared with the outside, The Village Chief interior was like the house on the capital, it had anything for a comfortable life, LED TV, AC, Music player, Video player, laptop, etc.

"Village Chief you…" Aria scowled at his words, with no expression as always

That's the reason for Aria's reaction when he said there's another person who knew about Hidden World because usually, it's the Village Chief's work to deceive its villagers so they can hide the confidentiality of Hidden World

Before long, a handsome quite bulky man entered the village chief "I came, Chie-" he brazenly entered the house, but then he stopped on his track the same way as Village Chief before, his eyes flashed the same way as Village Chief did too

(I can understand for Village Chief reaction, it's not that unusual as I'm too was one from the Cultured Society in my past life, but you? a handsome bulky man!? Those two only a child!? Twelve and thirteen years old! Are you crazy!?)

The handsome bulky man sat beside the village chief "I'm sorry for my bad behavior just now"

"You came for 'that' right? Let me explain" the handsome bulky man said then he explained this time OutMission.

It seems the handsome bulky man was a hunter in this Village, he said when he was working looking for prey on the forest which is southwest from the village, there's quite a distance between the forest and village, that's why there's rest stop right outside of the forest for a hunter to rest, and it was that time, he saw a few lights in the middle of the night on the forest mountain a bit far south from the Village.

"Of course, I wouldn't react like this if I just saw those lights" he explained "at first, I didn't think much about that kind of thing, it's unusual but not that rare"

There are many causes of that kind of phenomenon too, like reflected moonlight or some firefly gathered together

Then the handsome bulky man hugged himself, it was like he was stricken by fear while remembering what happened to him in the past "I saw the light occurred too often and too many of it, which intrigued my curiosity and I found myself approaching that place on midday, it was then, I saw… scattered piles of bones…"

"I made a run for my life, I was afraid…, but there's nothing changed since then, I didn't tell anyone about this either, I too have pride as a hunter who can walk inside the forest without fear you see," he said

((('He said that, while hugging himself stricken by fear…, not very convincing~!'))) is what Lex and the rest thought

Human bones with clothes, they made *clank *clang sound whenever they moved, a moment of carelessness stricken by fear almost cost me my life, I made a small sound which made them found my position, they immediately chased after me, I've only made out of it, caused I knew the forest like it was the back of my hand" the handsome man said with a relieved sigh "then I consulted it with Village Chief and you all came, that's all"

"I want you all to investigate about it," The Village Chief said after he finished his story

"I see, we understand we will move as soon as possible tomorrow morning" Aria replied, by the time the handsome bulky man finished his story the sun about to go down, it's unlikely for them to do the investigation on the night

"Thank you very much," the Village Chief said which quickly followed by the Handsome bulky man's gratitude "thank you, with this, I can back to work again"

"Then we will prepare rooms for you all to spend tonight" The Village chief suggested

"Thank-" when Aria about to accept him "Thank you for the consideration Chief, but we are all still a trainee in the Crimson Eagle, we need to gather as many experiences as possible, so we had already decided to camp outside as a training tonight" Lex intruded, which made Aria glared at him but she didn't object to it either. The rest looks at Lex strangely too except for Max that is.

(It might be just me, I somehow can't help but feel something smells fishy, it is not about his story, but about how that handsome man acts, it's like he's 'acting')
