The sun just began to rise from the darkness as light came through the broken window high above the rest of the city.
A yellow and blue light breaking through the clouds in the sky.
"I'm so board." I said to myself since I am the first to wake up again. Since Blood Stalk is still sleeping I didn't want to wake them by moving around but there is nothing to do.
'Should I check the Hibiki tab to make some more weapons, or maybe the Build tab since we haven't had any bottles appear in a while? Did I forget to put a new one in?' I was thinking of productive things while doing nothing until our body started to move.
"Good Morning." I said to Blood Stalk.
"Hm." They replied with a grunt.
"Did you sleep well?" I asked them as they got up to stretch.
"Yes..." They said back simply and walked to the broken window and take a look out side. Our head and most of our upper body was sticking out getting hit with wind and cool air.
We looked strait down which reminded me how high we were.
"This place is really high up. I'm getting weak legs just looking down." I said as a joke to get a response out of Blood Stalk.
"Heh..." They exhaled a little bit of air. I think my joke might have made them laugh a little.
"You know I realized we haven't really gotten any new bottles yesterday. You wouldn't happen to know if I put a new one-." I began to speak before hearing a noise.
"Ding."
"Oh, talk about timing. We should probably move away from the-." I said understanding what was about to happen but to slow to react.
"BANG!" The explosion sent us forward and out of the broken window.
We began to fall downward as a steam trail followed.
.
I try and use our wires to grab the window we fell out of, but we moved so fast that it didn't reach. I then tried to launch it into the wall but their grip was too strong and kept breaking parts of the wall off with each attempt.
"Rocket..." Blood Stalk said as I was attempting to slow our rapid descent by grabbing the wall with our left hand. It caused sparks to erupt from our hand.
"No, Those will explode and might hit anyone down below." I said trying to get a grip on the wall but the stones kept breaking whenever I latched onto them because of the momentum.
As I was trying to think of something Blood Stalk reached behind us and grabbed the bottle that put us into this situation. It was purple with what looked like a webbed background with an arachnid molded on the front in the shape of the Nazca lines.
They gestured to the bottle in our left hand.
"That could work." I said while grabbing the gun.
Blood Stalk quickly puts in the purple bottle into the bottom of the gun.
"Spider!" The gun played a sound effect and lit up purple for a brief moment.
Multiple screens then appear. One with a circle with a web design in it, another with spider looking legs, and one with a string attached to a person's arm.
I select the one with the string and the screens get smaller. I then fired a web that stuck to the wall which slowed down our descent a little and started to swing us to the left.
"Hold on." I yelled as we started to swing around the skyscraper.
The webs held onto the wall and we swung a little bit upward, then like a pendulum we moved
I let go of the trigger and the web disconnected from the gun. I shot another slightly further down and it catches a window this time. Even with our weight pulling on it the window didn't break.
We got close to the wall and Blood Stalk kicked it, making us do a back flip in the process.
I shot another web and continued to move downwards.
We were about 20 feet from the ground and approaching it at a much more manageable rate.
"We can be like Spider-Man with this." I said while imagining swinging through the city while stopping crime and looking cool.
Just then the webbing stopped shooting out of the gun and instead only regular bullets.
We fell the rest of the way and landed with a big thud, dust erupting from the ground. A few cracks we left of the ground as we stud up a little staggered but overall fine. Luckily no one was around to see that since it was so early in the morning.
"I bet that hurt. Are you alright Blood Stalk?" I said since the fall was still pretty big even after we slowed our descent.
"Yes..." They said in a little happy tone while looking at the entrance to the tower.
"I guess your more excited to enter this place than getting hurt hun." I said in a playful tone. They seem a lot happier than before.
"It's... what I... was born for." They said which still confused me but I decided to focus on what's in front of me for the moment.
We walked up the stairs into the giant opening that was before us. It had a white stone surface on the outside but as we walked in, it became more of a grey rock. Their was no one else around so we just walked forward without stopping until we were in front of a spiral staircase heading downward. The same rock lights we saw in the skyscraper started to turn on as we walked.
"Do you think that lady will be upset since we left without notice?" I asked Blood Stalk something to break the silence eerie atmosphere.
They didn't respond and just kept walking. They did take out the spider bottle and put it behind our back.
"It's not like I fell bad for leaving them. It not like it was our fault right?" I said to Blood Stalk again.
"No..." They responded simply. I guess that was their reassurance.
"Thanks for the certain answer." I said in a deadpan voice.
"She... shouldn't care... about us." They continued which I did not expect.
"Why's that?" I asked curiously.
"Because... that would... be sad." They said something I don't really get.
We kept going down the path before us without talking incase a monster tries to attack us.
'Alright, I guess I feel a little bad for leaving Freya's house without saying anything but it wasn't on purpose. It's not like we chose to go out the window, we just fell out of it. Will they believe that? I mean it wasn't the first time we fell from the top of the building so.' As I was thinking about useless hypotheticals we reached the end of the staircase and entered a huge opening. It looked like a gigantic cave with a light bluish light illuminating the walls entire way.
"So this is the dungeon that has my brother in it. It doesn't look like there are any dungeon I've seen before, not like I've seen one in person, but still." I started to talk
"Freya said that there are monsters around here as well. I didn't get the chance to ask what kind are down here so we better be cautious. " I said while preparing for the worst possible scenario.
"Yes..." Blood Stalk responded firmly while taking something out from behind our back.
A dog looking head popped out behind us and tried to bit at our leg. Blood Stalk managed to move in time and kicked it in the face sending it back to the wall it jumped out of.
Blood Stalk then grabbed a Hibiki stick with orange and grey colors on it and started to hum as the creature began to get up. The stick in our left hand started to glow a bright orange. The monster moved fast and tried to attack us again. We through a fire ball at the monster and set its face on fire as it screams in pain and falls with black smoke coming out of its mouth.
"That wasn't so bad." I said as we approached the creature to gather the black smoke like all of the other times. The creature suddenly jumped again and tried to bit our neck with a surprise attack.
"IT'S NOT DEAD!" I yelled while punching it in the eyes causing the entire head to fly off its shoulders.
"Few, that was close." I said while looking at our right hand and see a bit of purple light fading from it.
I took my gun and shot the body of the creature a few times to make sure it's dead before reaching out our hand. Black smoke entered the palm and the body of the creature started to decay rapidly revealing a faded black gem in the middle. Blood Stalk reaches into its guts and grabs it before bringing it closer to our face. It was covered in blood and look frail. They put it behind our back and we continued to move forward. Not long after rocks all around us started to move again.
The walls started to shake as the rocks began to break apart reveling some kind of green skinned humanoid started to emerge from the ground and walls. They were small in stature and had big yellow eyes, they also had sharp jagged teeth with claw like nails. More and more started to emerge after the first one. I counted five in total.
"Yo, goblin looking thing's." I said while waving my hand to the one closest to me in case they were friendly.
They responded by jumping at our head trying to claw and bite us. I pulled the gun from our hip and pulled the trigger. A bullet was fired directly in between their eyes and a red mist exited the back of their skull. The green monster's eyes expanded before deflating. They fell backwards and went limp after spewing dark smoke out of the hole in their head. They were definitely monsters.
The rest of the monsters screeched and began to approach us as fast as they could.
'They probably wanted to close the distance since they don't have anything long range weapons or means of attack.' I thought while Blood Stalk moved us in closer to the creatures. The creatures in the front jumped to our head while those in the back went for our legs.
Blood Stalk grabbed the steam blade from our back and swung it at one of the monsters, slicing their neck open spraying blood over our blade.
"Elek Steam!" the sound effect played as they turned the valve. Blood Stalk stabbed one of the green monsters aiming for our legs in the head and pulled the trigger releasing an electric shock directly into to the thing's brain. Its eyes melted from the shock and made it let go forcibly.
The last one tried to clime up our body but I pistol wiped it on its back and it screeched while letting go falling to the floor. It swiped at our side as it fell which caused sparks to fly off our suit. I punted the thing with our right leg and it rolled across the ground. Then shot it with three bullets
"Always remember to double tap in case they are still alive." I said learning from my mistake and shooting all of the monsters in the head a second time to make sure they were dead. Black mist started to flow out of them and I reach out to grab it. Blood Stalk then reached into each monster and grabbed a gem from each one.
I looked back and see some other people walking from where we entered. I don't recognize any of them and they kept their distance from us. I guessed that this place was just open for anyone. We then continued to walk forward to wherever this path lead us. I decided to look at the gun to add a new bottle to the machine.
I click on the gear and the screen popes up with a new flashing tab on the top right. It was a circle with a diamond in the center, it kind of looked like a compass.
Curiously, I clicked it and what looks like map appears on the screen. It was mostly black except for a trail leading to a blue dot in the center and two boxes were on the right side away from the line. I clicked on one of the boxes and a few symbols appeared. A cobra head which was red, a rocket, an octopus, a camera, a shuriken, and a spider which were all grey appeared before my eyes. Curiously, I clicked on the cobra symbol and my vision changed to only seeing blue, yellow, green, orange, and red.
"Is this thermal vision? Cool." I said while looking over the green monsters and they appear to have red smoke exiting their bodies and being pulled into the walls.
"You seeing this Blood Stalk?" I asked since this might affect them to.
"No..." They said back in an emotionless tone. Maybe they were feeling down at not experiencing this along with me.
"Wow, that's bright." I said while looking around and see red lines on the ground leading us forward. I then looked at both of our hands and see that our left hand is red while our right is blue.
"Hun, that weird." I said while looking around. I decided that was enough and unselect the symbol and my vision returns to normal. I then tried all of the other symbols but they seemed to do nothing.
We continued to fight monsters until we came across another spiral stair case.
"Guess there are multiple levels to this place. There shouldn't be that many so lets keep going and see what happens." I said to which Blood Stalk nodded.

Meanwhile in the tower
"I can't believe we have to bring some nobody to our Goddesses presence." One man with pointed ears said followed by two others.
"I agree, anybody that takes our time away for Lady Freya should die a thousand deaths." Another man with a scar on his face said with a grumpy tone.
"I had to skip breakfast for this." A smaller man at exactly 4 feet said caring a knife around his belt.
The group approached the door and opened it forcefully without knocking.
"Alright Jerk! Goddess Freya wants you so get up and-" the Man with pointed ears yelled before noticing that there was no one in the room.
"I think they left already." The scarred face man said while turning away.
"Good riddance I'd say." The short man said with a satisfied tone.
"But that means we have failed our Goddess." The man with pointed ears said with a pail face.
"Noooooo!!! Quick! We need to find him. What does he look like?" The short man yelled while running around.
"I don't know. I've never seen them before." The scar man said with a dejected look.
"We can't disappoint her. What if she decides she doesn't want us anymore?" The short man said scared out of his mind.
"We will find whoever they are and bring them back before she notices no mater what." The man with pointed ears said with conviction.

Hi,
Just looked it up and parently there are no monsters on the fith level for some reason. Don't know why.
.
I realy need to get better at dialoge because I suck at it so much.I just can't think of anything for them to say to one another at this point.
I've been playing some PS3 games like Splatter house and Spawn which has me in the mood for bloody fights. I haven't done any in what feels like forever and I need something to get the blood pumping.
.
Word count was at 2500 at the time of writting this.
Thank you VanillaExodia, parzzibal_37, and DaoistT1MTfB for the powerstones.
Thanks for reading,
Caoi.
