Exactly one minute ago…

(POV Geodude)

I munched on the rocks around me feeling them fuel me with energy while I began thinking.

(Why can't rock taste like rock master give geodude! It gave geodude many fuel and taste good also! GEODUDE ASK MASTER FOR MORE GOOD ROCK! GEODUDE HAS BIG BRAIN!).

As I complemented myself I felt a satisfying warm energy flow through my body and I hummed in a satisfied tune as I welcomed the energy into my body.

(HMM! GEODUDE FEEL GOOD!) I thought with a satisfied expression.

I then felt it decrease a bit.

I then picked up a green rock with one hand and an orange one with my other one.

{Green rock= Basalt and orange rock= Sandstone. Yeah surprise surprise, unlike in Minecraft where basalt is a dark grey and black it's actually a mixture of dark green and light black in real life.}

(Does green rock give good energy? Or orange rock give good energy?) as I contemplate which one gave me the satisfying feeling I just shove both into my mouth.

Then as if getting fueled the satisfying feeling tripled.

Then I made a promise to myself with burning passion in my eyes and a steeled resolve (I EAT ALL GREEN ROCK AND ORANGE ROCK IN CAVE!).

I then began devouring all the green and orange rocks I could find.

Five minutes earlier.

(POV Mimikyu)

I happily hopped my way to the lake hoping to take a sip.

(Man I'm stuffed! the food master gave me was amazing I hope I can eat some more later.) I thought as I materialized a claw like hand a molded it into a bowl.

I then scooped up some water and drank it in slow gulps with a refreshed expression on my face.

(Man this is the life eating good food, having a loving master, and living in this beautiful cave… Although something just feels off- nah nothing is going to happen.)

I then jumped on top of a smooth and flat stone under the sunlight near master and overseeing the lake.

Then just as I was about to go to master the nagging feeling that something would go wrong returned.

(This feeling again!) I sighed irritably and shake my head as I lay on the rock (A nap will make everything better and hopefully that feeling will go away.).

I then drifted into my sleep dreaming of the cave with master petting me and someone who looked like the brute but slightly different.

Then everything changed turning red as a dark mist that crackled with an ominous red lightning slowly crept through the entrance.

As master got up while a strange black stick with blue outlines appeared in his hand a demonic roar echoed throughout the cavern.

Inside of the mist two red orbs appeared and glowed a terrifying red as it stared at us while circling us.

Then master grabbed me and the rock as a creepy bellow came from the mist.

Next, all I saw were teeth… sharp teeth…. Dozens of sharp teeth and then everything went black as I heard master's screams and that things roar.

{Can any of you guess who this future foe maybe?}

All of I sudden I shout as I felt myself being thrown into the lakes shallow.

^IMU!^ I shout surprised and terrified.

I open my eyes and see the aforementioned brute hold the rock I was on like a sandwich as it munched and crunched it as if it was a hard cracker.

Suddenly I see him glow a dull orange as he ascended into the air in a T-pose with glee and bless on his face.

Before I could berate him for his ill manners me and master shouted in horror at what happened next.

Back to the present time…

(POV Cyrus)

"WHAT THE FUC-" I shout alongside mimikyu as geodude as he surrounded himself in a red translucent sphere that radiated bright light and heat like a mini sun.

I up a small pebble and lightly toss it towards the sphere only for it to bounce back glowing orange.

I look at him with mimikyu by my side with horror as the temperature went from one to eleven as he slowly started melting as the dull orange glow turn a bright yellow and orange.

^MIMIKYU!!^ I hear mimikyu cry with fear.

<Cyrus do-> Lyra's voice dulled.

"NOO!!" I shout as I felt my knees weaken as all the sounds around me vanished.

<Author here- This might look very over dramatic because they were together for like one hour but think of it like this, your parents bought you two puppies for let's say getting good grades. You and the puppies instantly connect and then one of the puppies experiences what you'd imagine is a brutal death like getting mauled alive by a stray for example. You can't stop it no matter what you do and you can only stand by and cry along with the other puppy. Yeah that's the situation the MC and Mimikyu are going through right now.>

Then just as he almost finished melting I leaped onto the sphere punching in continuously desperately trying to break it not caring for the burns I was getting.

I punched and punched while shouting as I do so hoping for it to give me more strength I see the sphere almost filled with lava as geodude laid inside in a coma like state with pain evident in his face.

In a last ditch effort, I try tearing the ball open with my almost melted claws as tears made their way through my mask and onto the sphere evaporating instantly.

Then I felt a piece of my heart just vanish as he completely melted leaving a sphere of magma floating in the air.

I then let go letting myself fall from the mini sun and let gravity take its course and pull me down from the twenty feet gap between the ground and me.

Then I feel a tug slow my fall down as I see mimikyu pull me towards itself with a string like fluid.

<-4 HP>

I then crash onto the cave wall with less impact because of mimikyus webbing.

I just stared at the bright ball with tears streaming down me as I slowly slid down from the cavern walls and onto the floor.

I then feel something climb onto my stomach as I look down I see a sad blob of slime staring at the lava ball with tears.

^ku…ku…mimikyu…mi…^ I hear the little one mummer with sadness.

{If you are wondering why mimikyu isn't talking like the jagras well they're not even 1 day old and my lazy ass is too tired to write all that.}

I hug the sad creature as we silently cry.

Then we start to hear a deep gurgling sound echo through the cavern, we look for the source and lay our watery eyes at the sphere once more.
