Chapter 60: PureLife’s water purifier and Organising

The siblings ends up lying on the floor until Uncle Zhou arrives.

"Uncle Zhou!" They greet him from afar.

Uncle Zhou avoid the central courtyard and went to the Main house through the corridor. He looks around and was amazed with the doors leaning over the wall and also the general changes of the house.

"This vinyl flooring is really a good choice." He said, praising their shop's product.

"Uncle, I told you they are good and cheap. You should promote them more in your shop." Bai Yi Yang invite Uncle Zhou to sit in the living room.

"Yatou you are really mischievous, our factory produce tiles ah.." Uncle Zhou said. Bai Yi Yang laugh at this.

"How is their work?" He asked again.

"They are almost done I think." Bai Yi Yang said.

"Right, these are local cakes that I bought on the way. You all eat it." Uncle Zhou gave them a few small plastic of food.

"Thank you Uncle Zhou." The children said. They all immediately ran to the Main house bathroom to wash their hands.

"Yang Yang, the house really look different now." Uncle Zhou said after looking around for a while.

"En, because we now earn a bit money every month, I call some people to do renovation. Uncle Zhou, you can feel assured." Bai Yi Yang purposely said this.

"Yang Yang, may I know where did your money come from? You see, this old man is not trying to poke onto your business, but my old parents heard some words from the villagers..they are only worry.." Uncle Zhou said.

"I understand and thankful for that. To be honest, I recognise some common mushrooms, so once in a while I will enter the mountain to pick wild mushrooms and dried them. I found someone who buy natural wild mushrooms for a high price, so we sign a year contract, every month we will do transaction. It's not much but it is more than enough. We already sold some before and we have a bit of money from that." Bai Yi Yang said.

"Really? That's good, that's good." Uncle Zhou nod a few times. No wonder she dare spend thousands of money, so they find some ways to earn money. He now have something to tell his parents.

When they were chatting and eating the cakes, the workers also finished their job. They didn't stay long since their manager is here to settle the account, they can return now. Bai Yi Yang rush to the kitchen and pack three portion of dried mushrooms before sending the worker away.

At 1.30 pm, the agent finally arrived. It is a lady in her 30s, she also came with one young man who is seems to be her junior. After apologising for coming late, which the reason is because they lose their way, they proceed with the explanation.

Bai Yi Yang already knows which one she wants, so it was easy. The agent don't need to explain and persuade her to take this certain product because she already decide.

The female agent ask for the documents and all and they fill in the form, it was put under Bai Yi Chen name and Uncle Zhou as a guarantor.

The business is finished within 20 minutes. The agent was very pleased after Bai Yi Yang made the installation fee which is 150 yuan and the service charge for the first year which is 650 yuan. The total first time payment is 800 yuan.

The agent explain that her junior will come for installation on Monday, she also give the service schedule to Bai Yi Yang. The service will be reviewed again on the same date next year if they still wanted to continue their company service. Bai Yi Yang fully understand the format so it was very easy.

"I wonder if I can install one under my name?" Uncle Zhou saw their products and he became interested. The yearly pay is not expensive, and he had heard enough of his wife complaining about boiling drinking water.

"Of course, Mr.Zhou is eligible to apply since you are only a guarantor. Mr.Zhou, are you interested? We can directly arrange it for you now and install it on Monday." The female agent smile brightly. Uncle Zhou thought for a while and nod.

Since Uncle Zhou doesn't really know their products, the female agent show him their catalog and explain all the features of each product, but in the end Uncle Zhou choose the same type as Bai Yi Yang. He understand why Bai Yi Yang really choose this one.

The female agents smile didn't leave her face. Unexpectedly, she got two customers today. It really didn't waste getting lost to find this place. The female agents leave a contact information, then she and her junior only left near 2.30 pm.

Only after the transaction is settled, Bai Yi Yang and Uncle Zhou can finally settle the account for the vinyl flooring.

"Last time you had payed a deposit of 2,400 yuan. After complete installation, my worker has gave me the report, the total area is 187 m2. The remaining fee will be 2,275 yuan." Uncle Zhou show her the receipt. Bai Yi Yang look it over and pay the exact amount. Then, their transaction is complete.

Uncle Zhou didn't stay anymore. On the way out, he also met with Mr.Song which Bai Yi Yang only introduced briefly.

Bai Yi Yang look at her siblings who haven't eat lunch. She feels a bit guilty, she should have at least prepare something for the to eat.

"Are you guys hungry?" Bai Yi Yang ask helplessly.

"No." They all shake their head.

"We ate the cakes Uncle Zhou give. We are full." The children said.

"Just have dinner early today." Bai Yi Chen also think the same.

"Alright." Bai Yi Yang nod.

"Jie, can we go to the village now?" Bai Yi Mo ask.

"Just right, since you are heading to the village, go meet Head Village Li wife and order two laundry basket." Bai Yi Yang said.

"Laundry basket?" Bai Yi Mo and Bai Yi Fang look at each other confused.

"Yeah. Wait a bit." Bai Yi Yang took a pencil and draw a sketch with estimated measurement. She heard that Head Village Li hand woven rattan basket is not bad. They are using pail to put their laundry now, it is not very appealing to the eyes. The children took the sketch and ride the bike down the mountain.

Bai Yi Yang went to the laundry room, she told Bai Yi Chen not to put back the machine because she still need to paint the washer/dryer rack with white paint. So she bring the rack to the workshop and put a plastic covering on the corridor before start painting it white. After that, she let it dry on the corridor since the central courtyard cannot be used now.

Only after that she went to approach Mr.Song who is almost done with the east part.

"Miss Bai, you go do your job bah. I see that you are busy, this is my work to begin with." Mr.Song said.

"No problem Mr.Song, I have time to spare." Bai Yi Yang said.

"Yang Yang, when should we unbox the fridge?" Bai Yi Chen came out of the kitchen after cleaning up the kitchen. He was wiping the counter and cabinet then sweep the floor. They are clean but he thinks they still need to clean again after people coming in and out.

"Go, go.." Mr.Song laugh softly and said. See, how busy the young girl is. She basically do everything in the house.

"Then, Mr.Song take your time." Bai Yi Yang smile, she is really a bit busy. Bai Yi Yang come to the kitchen and saw Bai Yi Chen cutting off the flat plastic rope. She let him cut it off before she step in to help. The fridge is very tall, it is taller than Bai Yi Chen so they need to carefully unbox it.

"I should have ask them to help with it just now." Bai Yi Chen said.

"No problem, we can do it." Bai Yi Yang smile.

They only able to unbox it after 15 minutes. Bai Yi Chen who is supporting the weight of the fridge carefully push it to the wall. Bai Yi Yang quickly plug it onto one of the empty plug.

"Yang Yang, you already planned this ahead right." Bai Yi Chen look at the perfect alignment. When they add the water purifier, it will be complete.

"En, two plug here, then a few more plug over there for other kitchen appliances." Bai Yi Yang said, other than that there are also empty plug near the diner table area in case they need to charge their phone here. When they open the fridge, it still smells like newly bought things.

"Ge, I think we should rinse it with water bah." Bai Yi Yang said. Bai Yi Chen nod.

After that, for the next 30 minutes, they remove the compartment and rinse it with water, then dry it with clean towel before putting it back.

In the middle of doing this work however, another delivery arrived at their door. Bai Yi Yang immediately call the people to bring the boxes directly to the kitchen. There were a lot of boxes but actually they weren't heavy. Bai Yi Yang unbox the boxes happily, she let Bai Yi Chen continue to wipe the fridge clean. After making sure that everything she bought is there, she start organising these things into the cabinet. She is happy with all these spaces that they have now.

"Ge, you go take the things from the right room, ask Xiao Ling to came here, let her help me organise." Bai Yi Yang said.

Bai Yi Chen who already finished cleaning nod. By now, he can already feel the coldness from the fridge. When Bai Yi Chen returns back and forth from the Main house, Bai Yi Ling also had arrive and now sitting on the kitchen floor with her sister.

"Jie, there are so many type of herb and spices." She said as she arrange them. These herbs and spices was put in small glass jar with aluminium cap, the herbs name are printed on the body in English.

"En, this is commonly used one. There are more complicated herbs that we don't know." Bai Yi yang said. She is in charge placement and Bai Yi Ling is removing the wrappings. As for Bai Yi Chen, he is currently washing all the fruits one by one. On the other sink, Bai Yi Yang has put the cookware sets that he need to wash after this.

"Ge, we are going to wash the fruits again before eating, no need to be so thorough." Bai Yi Yang said.

"I believe that you will do that, but I don't believe the two small one." Bai Yi Chen said and continue to wash the fruit carefully.

"Xiao Mo and Fang Fang are clean children." Bai Yi Yang defend the two small one.

"Jie, the two of them is really unpredictable. They can be very lazy sometimes ." Bai Yi Ling cannot support her older sister this time.

"Ohh, then listen to Xiao Ling bah." Bai Yi Yang release a small laugh.

Bai Yi Yang continue to organise the snacks into different compartment in the cabinet too, the one that need to be put in the fridge is put inside and the other was arranged into the floor to ceiling cabinet.

In the cabinet, all type of biscuits in one compartment, sweets in one compartment, then her tea collection, instant noodle and dried noodles together, salty snacks such as potato chips, powdered drinks such as cocoa powder and milk powder, nuts and a few other. For the upper part, Bai Yi Yang ask Bai Yi Chen to help put them.

As for the fridge, there were nothing to put on the left side yet, so Bai Yi Yang only fill in the right side, she arrange the things in the fridge organiser and put the fruits in the big fruit compartment at the bottom, it is full with fruits now.

After finished organising the things, Bai Yi Yang and her siblings finally move back the dining table to the kitchen. Only then they sigh in relief. That was a lot of organising.

"Miss Bai, you done?" Mr.Song came.

"Yes Mr.Song. Did you finished your work too?" She ask.

"Yes. The pavement is done, please look over it and strictly no stepping on it until Monday. If it is going to rain, then please cover it with canvas. If they dried off well until Monday, then our job is half done." Mr.Song said.

"Of course, Mr.Song don't worry. I will make sure nobody step on it ." Bai Yi Yang said.

"Good, good. Then I will feel assured. On Monday, I will bring the grass and flower, then resume with doing the fire pit. Should be done by Monday." He said.

"Then Mr.Song, do bring the receipt on Monday too." Bai Yi Yang said.

"Alright. Then I will leave first." Mr. Song already gather his things, he just need to leave now.
