Family meeting

"I object" Sitting by a round table an old man with a bushy unibrow on his face spoke up.

"And why is that Elder Parlin" Sitting at the head of the table Kento asked with a stern voice.

"Didn't you say that he's an orphan, meaning that he probably doesn't have any influence. They probably don't know that he even exist so why should we marry our daughter to such a person, is he even capable? " Elder Parlin asked in confusion. The other elders nodded their heads in agreement.

Times have changed or rather turned back. Families started having arranged marriages in order to help their families grow stronger. The parents figured that the kids would grow to love each other.

"Your right and they probably don't know that he exists so why you asked, that's because i'm not aiming to get the support of the Dikta family, they couldn't care less for us or any other family for that matter. You guys may have misunderstood me, korah won't be marrying out of the family but Henry is gonna be marrying in our family and as for his capability I've tested him myself. "Kento's words left no room for arguments and as if to remind everyone that he had the final say. To kento family was more than just blood, it was someone reliable.

"Now are there any objections? Kento asked, he sounded like he didn't care even if there were any complaints but he just wanted to make sure everyone was on board.

"I object, have you all grown so old that you've forgotten what the Dikta Family did to us. Should I remind you how we lost most of our children, why should we let another one of them here." An old man who looked to be on deaths door spoke up, he was the oldest person in the room and perhaps he was the only person who would go against kento's words in the family.

"Elder Kaioh perhaps it is you who has forgotten what happened. When the Dikta family came to whip out our family, it was only thanks to one man that we survival. Hue although from the same family he fought them with his life on the line to save us, it was only thanks to him that were still here" Kento said as they all gazed at the man sitting at the back of the room.

Sitting alone, Hue simply smiled at them. They treated him like family and although they offered him a seat on the table he declined multiple times.

"Or are you now dismissing that and saying that his nephew isn't good enough."Kento spoke up, although he spoke harshly the truth was still there. Everyone around the table lowered their heads. "I know it must be hard for Elder Kaioh to trust the Dikta family especially since they took both your sons but trust me when I say, Henry isn't one of them"

"*Sigh* fine but you must take responsibility of him." After hearing about his sons, Elder Kaioh couldn't help but be depressed. "Are you OK with this" Elder Kaioh turned and asked korah, who was sitting near the door.

"Yes I am, as long as he helps the family than I don't mind" Korah responded with a clear voice. Hearing her words, Elder Kaioh nodded in satisfaction. This was the reason most of the family elders cared for her the most. Even from a young age she wanted nothing more than to help the family. This had made most of the elders feel bad as it was their job and not hers and now it seemed like she was sacrificing her future in order to help them.

"And you boy, if I see a single tear from my granddaughter. I don't mind spending the rest of my life making sure that yours is a nightmare. Do I make myself clear" Elder kaioh spoke up

"Crystal" Henry quickly nodded his head. His virgin shoulders were experiencing a pressure he hadn't felt before and to make matters worse he still didn't know what he was expected to do.

"With this matter finished. I conclude this meetin-" Kento was surprised and pleased by how this meeting ended, he didn't want any problem in the future to arise because of this. Just as he was about to finish he was inturrupted.

"Wait I have a matter I must discuss" A female elder hesitated but spoke up.

"What is it Elder Jun" kento asked seeing the elders reaction.

"It's just that this matter may be upsetting"

"What's wrong little Jun, no matter what it is we'll solve it" Elder Kaioh had a worried expression on his face.

"Earlier today we received a letter from the Fyr family or more specifically a letter from Earl, he requested to see Izanami and his two children" Elder Jun said as she looked around the table.

*Bang*

The round table that was made from a very strong wood broke under the palm of Kaioh. The temperature in the room dropped ice started to form along the walls. Kaioh's naivy blue and silver hair danced in the air as a cold wind blew from his body.

"Tell that basted he can do so over my dead body!. For as long as I live, I won't let that bastard anywhere near my family!. How dare he even have the nerve!" Kaioh stood up and shouted, his fist had turned into an icy color.

Hearing his words the other elders nodded in unison. Henry noted the reactions of Akira and korah as soon as the person was mention. He also noted their reaction when Elder Kaioh Spoke up. He put two and two together and figured it was their father.

After a while of shouting Elder Kaioh calmed his anger.

"Elder Jun send a letter saying that we're not interested and he shouldn't contact again as that would aggrivate us." After a while kento spoke up.

After saying that the meeting ended and everyone when their sepperate ways. It was already dinner time Henry followed the others towards the dinning room.

They got to the dinner table and found the others chatting and waiting for them. Before dinner started Kento broke the news of Korah's engagement to the rest of the family. Henry received some weird looks at first but non of them said anything. Henry and Akira sat at the end of the table having a discussion... Well more like Akira did most of the talking, he seemed friendly towards Henry, unlike his sister. Henry got to know that the boy was smart and a few other interesting things.

Delicious food on the table and the well light room only added a bit of warmth to the atmosphere as laughter and chatter echoed in the air.

"This is the only thing that truely matters" Sitting at the head seat Kento looked down towards his family with a smile and nodded.

*Knock* *Knock"

"Come in" Kento voiced out.

A knock interrupted everyone, they all turned to the door to see who it was. The servernts of the house were allowed to come and go without knocking and neither would a family member knock so this meant that it was an unexpected guest.

Two figures one short and one tall completely clad in armor from head to toe entered the room. The tall figure had on heavy crimson armor, the armor had marks and sketches all over and was the results of hundreds of battle but was completely intact. The armor made it completely impossible to discern the gender of this person.

The other figure's armor was colored with camouflage colors. This armor was completely fresh and didn't have any marks or dents on it.
