Strolling the ruins of the University Sano and Blood sought the high ground.

"10 seconds before were in range Captain." Ciel said sticking to Sanos rear.

"You may want to brace yourself, the effects of the Kabbalah's bias field will rattle you." Julius warned.

They all turned a corner and for a moment Sano felt his god arc seize.

Before he could inspect it, a rush of power rushed from every pore in his body to to his head.

One by one god-eaters erupted into Burst Mode lv3, lighting the hallway with light.

"You see now, why even lesser god-eaters can combat this Psion. It emits a wave that not only drives Aragami mad, but also activates the oracle cells inside our god-arcs to max out our power." Julius explained.

The weight Sano felt from his shield was gone.

"This power." Sano thought aloud.

"It's crazy, huh? Bet you're ready to handle an army of Aragami!" Nana said raising her hammer.

"I know I am! Let's go!" Romeo cheered.

"As you can see, the resonance can be intoxicating. Don't let it get to your head like these kids." Gil warned. Nana and Romeo glowered at the Scotsman.

"Take a moment, your god-arc can be affected making it overactive or agitated." Julius explained.

He ain't kidding! Remember what I said earlier about not showing off!?

COUNT ME IN!!!

Sano gripped his God-arc feeling the rushing oracle energy course through his veins. He lightly twisted his wrist, feeling no imbalance on his god-arc. Sano smirked and spun it to his side, alerting Ciel. Then he spun it over his head making Gil wary. Lastly, he caught it backhanded, sticking it into the ground with a smirk.

"Where is this thing?" Sano asked, eyes looming right at Julius.

Julius smirked in turn and beckoned him further down the hallway. Sano followed with Ciel at his back, keeping her hand ready to draw her Glock.

Nana and Romeo were still on the hinges from the Burst, as Gil egged them on.

Approaching a large hole, Julius held his hand to stop.

"I have eyes on the target. Approach the edge slowly." Julius commanded as he took a knee to the side. Sano stood at the edge looking below seeing a grey figure rummaging some debris.

Sano squinted and to surprise recognized the aragami.

"It looks like a gboro-gboro...but hairier." he thought. The creature had the body shape of a typical gboro-gboro, grey scales & fins, and a square-like head. However, a ragged hairline grew covering all the fins extending to a mane upon its jaw.

Sano had to do a double-take to see the right of its face lined with red markings and the "face" drawn on.

NO DOUBT ABOUT IT, IT'S HIM! AND HE SMELLS A BIT, TASTY.

The god-eaters were above its head, but it took no notice.

"Its a Psion, but it still has the weaknesses of a gboro-gboro." Julius said.

"Can't hear anything close or far. A scream in its ear, couldn't get its attention." Gil added.

"To that end, there are other targets to consider. The Kabbalah is our main target, but once it's dead the power granted by it will disappear. Actually. Once it's set its sights on an enemy, it'll change its bias-field affecting only other oracles cells. It has the least control over its power compared to the one you fought. How do you suggest we proceed?" Julius asked.

Sano turned his eyes to Julius with curiosity, noting that he still staring at the Kabbalah. The question also caught his teammates off guard.

"(He's testing me, is he?)" Sano thought as he stared down at the Shaman.

The beast was more or less dead to the world while giving them power aplenty. The course of action was simple.

"We save the thing last, and rampage everywhere else. It won't hear a thing." Sano said with a smirk drawing his god-arc.

HELL YEAH LETS GET IN THERE!

"I agree with your assessment, although we can't simply go about en masse and start a massacre can we?" Julius joked.

"Your orders, sir?" Ciel said firmly.

"1 team to circle the outer campus and 2 with me to keep watch on the Kabbalah. Nana. Romeo!" Julius said.

"Yes sir!" The two teens stood with a salute.

"Go with Sano and clear the area outside the walls of any Aragami you come by, anything too large retreat and call for back-up." Julius ordered, receiving a nod from each of the two.

Ciel gasped, and with a firm stance tried to voice her protest.

"Captain!" she said.

"Gil and Ciel you're with me, we'll keep the hallways clear of any aragami trying to disturb the Kaballah. Blood. Move out!" Julius jumped from the edge, not letting Ciel get another word out.

"You ready, let's go!" Nana cheered, raising her hammer going the opposite way, dragging Sano by the sleeve, with Romeo in tow.

Gil could only sneak a peek at Sano, who seemed to share his disposition at this point.

Gil had no time to lament and with a heavy sigh jumped downward after his Captain. Ciel hesitated to follow after, wishing to voice her concerns before taking action.

But already being given an order she didn't dare disobey her Captain. With a heavy heart, she dove after him and prayed for her friends' safety.

Sano would never normally go along with another plan of action so easily, but there was too much to gain. The inmate could not linger on it while all this energy rose within him.

Now was the time to rampage.

He sped past Nana towards the corridor outside, and the glow around him increased, even more, making Nana and Romeo wince.

The inmate leaped from the edge and sought his prey below. Orgetails for the appetizers.

And for the first course?

A hearty Kongou.

Sano rushed the 4 ogretails and they all flew to the walls. As the cores fell one by one, the Kongou was already run through by Sano's god-arc. It morphed into predator form and began feasting upon the ape.

Core and all were eaten by the god-arc as it collected the other cores from its tendrils.

"Wow..." Nana and Romeo were amazed

ROOOOAAARRRGGGH!

The two immediately regained their focus seeing more enemies were coming.

The second course?

Accompanied by a Fallen Kongou, a side of Red Vajratails.

"My god-arc likes spicy food. You two can take the ape." The inmate ordered to the younger god-eaters. Sano charged at the aragami letting his god-arc drive him forward.
