Over the next few days Izuku tried to get used to his new body, taking walks around the neighborhood and yoga poses he remembered in his room. Intersecting with Inko had been a bit odd at first but thankfully Izuku was pretty smart for his age and I didn't have to worry about sounding too smart. As the week passed and he gained some coordination he decided to bring up martial arts to his mother.
"Hey mom, can I sign up for martial arts?" I asked looking up at her.
"Martial arts? Why do you want to learn sweetie?" she asked while looking at me with worried eyes.
"I want to be a hero and a hero has to learn how to fight bad guys." I replied determinedly while miming a punch.
"Oh what a smart boy I have, already planning for his future!" tearing up "Of course you can sweetie!" she cried before hugging me.
'God she really does cry easy' I thought while trying to calm her down.

After a bit of thought I chose to learn Taekwondo and Capoeira at a local dojo with a class for single students to go at their own pace. I wanted a flexible speed based style instead of the smash style of Deku and a one on one teacher could help with that. The teacher was a pretty middle aged woman with scales on her cheeks and arms named Akana. She seemed strict but not bitchy.
The first few lessons along with my new exercise regimen was hard for me since i had never really exercised so much as Hadrian or Izuku but thinking of all the insane bullshit villains that would show up in the future and the feeling of being powerless in a world of superpowers spurred me on.
