FIFTY-SEVEN

I was busy brooding at home, with my work on hold and my entire life a mess, I didn't have anything better to do than sit home and think.

It's crazy that reporters have been outside my house since yesterday, it was as though they were waiting for the drama. I couldn't dare step out in fear that I might be crowded by them.

I miss when I was an average lady, writing for the fun of it with no men drama. Maybe I'd have met a more ordinary man, fallen in love, and maybe been planning our future.

My stomach grumbled, a protest against how little I have eaten all day. I got up to get myself a glass of yogurt and maybe some waffles that I had made earlier today. As I was about to step into the kitchen, I heard the bell go off.

I really wasn't expecting anyone, I wondered who it might have been. One thing I was sure of was that the reporters can't go ringing my bell… or can they?
