Julius watched Alvis going into meditation. He was extremely surprised. I mean, although breathless meditation is a basic meditation technique, it is still an absolute peak technique compared to some ascended level meditation techniques. Even though it is a public technique, the number of children who can practice it throughout the human domain should not reach 100. And we are talking about billions of children. This just shows how difficult it is. And yet Alvis managed to enter a trance on the first try.

I feel it circulating through my body. It's like water but at the same time like a gas. Ethereal might be the right word.

Hearing my father's voice, I remembered the feeling and focused only on that.

Focusing my mind, I vaguely felt the same but the feeling was gone. And then...I kept going...I kept going...slowly but surely, that fleeting feeling became stronger and stronger. And then...

I saw. I mean, I didn't see it. I actually don't know how to describe it. I just know. I feel the energy circulating throughout my body.

I laughed. It is tall.

I mean, I finally took my first steps towards magic. I'm getting closer and closer to finally trying it hahahahah

And slowly, the mana slowed down.

Knowing he was successful, Alvis tried to speed up the mana and then stop it just as his father asked. And surprisingly, he succeeded. It wasn't as difficult as he thought.

'Wait...maybe...hm...Better not to jump to conclusions.'

Opening his eyes, the first thing he noticed was his father's surprised look.

He asked Julius.

"Good! Excellent. Now I want you to try to accumulate mana in different parts of your body. But be careful. Don't let this build up for more than 10 seconds. Otherwise, it could damage your veins and vessels. Continue like this until the class is over.""

Looking at his father's reaction, Alvis was more sure of his guess.

That was just what Julius thought. Even though he knew that Alvis was a Genius, he was still surprised by the speed at which he mastered mana. I mean, even he took days to have the same level of mana control that Alvis achieved. And it only took a few minutes!!!!!

'Hahahahaha so that's how others felt...'

He thought as he reminisced about his life. The feeling of knowing that someone is better really leaves a bitter taste in the mouth. Now he understands what those old men felt when he surpassed them.

'Well, that's as expected. After all, he is my son. Hahahah'

But Julius was proud.
