Chapter 22

{Cain POV}

I dropped Ishtar to the floor and knocked her unconscious. I already gave her three chances, one was when she didn't respond the first time, the second chance was when they didn't answer the second and the third chance was when that man tried to attack me.

Before I could move on with my plan I decided to fulfill my request with Haruhime. I walked past the Fire Wall on the right side and spotted 6 frightened girls in very revealing clothing. I scanned them and noticed one of them looked like Aisha.

"Aisha?" I ask while looking at her, she wearily nods.

"Come with me then." I say as I walk back into the Fire Wall, I turn back and make a path for her to walk through. She walks through unsure of what's going to happen. The wall snaps back into place when she crosses the boundary.

I pick up both her conscious body and Ishtar's unconscious one and start running to the entrance.

Once I'm there I decide to start preparing a Fire Storm for the ages, one that will encapsulate all of the Ishtar Familia's home I silently start preparing. After a bit, Aisha speaks up.

"Why are you saving me and Ishtar" Aisha asks, sparing some concentration I decide to reply.

"I'm saving you since Haruhime cares for you" Aisha tenses up a bit.

"What do you want from me?" She asks more seriously than last time.

"Hmm? Nothing Haruhime just wanted to see you, but I want to kill the whole familia for sending that frog to kill me." I see some tension leaving her face.

"And I want Ishtar for a deal I think I can make." I continue not bothering to make it any more specific.

"Okay! All set!" I say as I stand back up.

"We should start running" I say as I pick up Ishtar and match pace with Aisha until just when we are about to be out of my range I activate the spell from a distance the result? A dozen massive fire Pillars burst from the ground and start dancing around leaving nothing but scorched earth in their path. I pick up Aisha again and start running towards the dungeon.

"I'll go in and bring Haruhime back, if you leave, Haruhime will be sad!" I say reminding her to not misuse my trust as I sprint down to the 18th floor arriving there very quickly. I go to meet up with Haruhime in the southeastern corner where I see her kneeling sadly in the clearing. I approach.

"Okay! Haruhime, it's time to go back up, my job is done. Aisha should be waiting for you up there as well." I announce.

"You ready?" I ask her as she quickly prepares herself. She nods silently. I go up to her and pick her up bringing her into a princess carry.

"Wh-wh-wh-wh-h-wh-wh-h-wh-what is- h-whhw-hw–why are yy-you?'' She tries to stammer out her face a deep red.

"It's faster this way" I say as cool as I can and start running back up, slower than I did on the way down because of the extra person.

I still manage to get to the surface fairly quickly. When we come back up the sun is rising. We take in the sight together and meet up with Aisha.

"Haruhime!" 

"Aisha!"

They say while they embrace Haruhime forming tears in the corner of her eyes. I pick up Ishtar's body again.

"Aisha we still have one more stop, get Haruhime and follow me!"

Aisha complies picks up Aisha and follows me as I head towards the west of Orario.

I stop when Ishtar finally starts to awaken, I call for Aisha to stop and wait for her to fully awaken.

"Ishtar!" I snap her awake.

"I've destroyed your familia" I say not hiding anything, her face turns grim when she sees the truth of my words.

"I will kill you if you don't do a couple more things for me though." I state.

"Expel Aisha and Haruhime from your Familia, right now." Ishtar, who seems scared out of her mind, readily agrees, seeing that I would kill her if she didn't listen.

Ishtar starts with Haruhime, but she was too shy to do it in front of me and the street so I conjured a Fire Wall for her privacy and stood outside. When I got the okay I lowered it and watched Ishtar dispel Aisha's Falna.

"Now that we don't have a Falna, how are you gonna carry all three of us?" Aisha asks, I scoff at her question.

"Ohh Aisha, we are already here." I say vaguely.

"Haruhime and Aisha follow me! Ishtar be a dear and wait for me here." Ishtar just continued looking off into the distance and the Tower Of Babel.

I entered the abandoned church and knocked on the Hestia Familia's door, only to get no response. I entered their home anyway.

"Hestia!" I call out and I hear something in another room.

"Hestia, I recruited some members for you." I see a door slam open revealing a short stacked goddess and she slammed herself into me.

"Cain! I've missed you so much" She said as she rubbed her cheek against my abs. Then she realizes what I said.

"Huh? New members, are you sure?" She looks at the other guests surrounding me.

"Jeez, Cain is such a player." She says under her breath, I decide to ignore it.

"I would like to join your Familia." Haruhime speaks of her own free will.

"Ahh, I'll join as well then" Aisha says.

"THANKYOUTHANKYOU!!" Hestia thanks me for helping her out, I leave them to let them enter the Familia.

I left the abandoned church finding Ishtar exactly where I left her.

"Now then let's make the most of you" I say as I pick up Ishtar once more.

I headed towards where Ishtar was looking before, the Tower of Babel.

The run there was short but the closer we got the more uneasy Ishtar was going from erratic breathing to trying to punch and kick me to get off of me. It still didn't take long until we were there, in front of Freya's quarters.

I enter without knocking. I see her sitting on her bed wearing her usual black and red dress that barely covers anything from the anime with a sultry smile on her face.

"Let's make a deal" I say confidently.

"Hmm?" she hums questioningly. I throw Ishtar on the ground. She is still in a broken state.

"In exchange for helping you and your familia earlier and the annihilation of one of your biggest enemies, I demand compensation." I say business-like.

"And what would you like your compensation to be, Cain?" she asked seductively.

"You. I want Freya under my thumb completely, forever." I answered coldly, I could see that she wasn't against the idea, hell she probably really enjoyed it, but entering a contract like that with a goddess, let alone a goddess like Freya, the adventurers guild would not let something like that happen.

"Do you agree?" I said as I put out my hand for her to shake. She got up and walked over to Ishtar to take my hand.

"But how will you convince the guild to make it official, C-Master?" she adapted quickly, maybe she'd thought about this before.

"It would bear no weight if I did it, they would likely have more trust in you, you should do it for us." I push work onto my newly acquired slave. She nods resolutely.

"By the way do whatever with Ishtar you know you have full ownership of." I say and I walk away.

As I walk through the gates of the Twilight Manor I start to head back to my room. My mind wanders. I should probably check my status, I've done quite a bit since the expedition, may as well.

I enter my room and see Loki half awake trying to get up.

"Loki?" She almost instantly was relieved of her sleepiness from my voice.

"Cain?" She responds like a game of Marco Polo.

"Can you give me a quickie?" I asked her innocently knowing my implication as I saw her face as red as her hair.

"A-a-a-a-a-a qu-qu-quik-ckc-ckc-kc-kc-k-kie" Loki stutters out.

"A quick status update." I add and see her face rapidly gain its original color. She complies.

"What!!? How?! You've leveled up already!" Loki exclaimed, and she soon calmed herself.

"For developmental abilities, you can get Luck, Hunter, Abnormal Resistance, Strong Defense, Magic Swordsman, and Magic Resistance." I pondered for a bit.

"Magic Swordsman first off" I am unsure if getting two last time was a fluke or not.

"And your second?" Loki asks me.

"Luck!" I exclaim and I hear the hum in affirmation.

"Make sure to double it like last time!" I shout and Loki understands.

"Your Luck shot up!" Loki shouts.

Eventually, she is done updating my status and she hands it to me.
